"It could be the IAG person holding the artifacts," Zuv said.
"I don't know who has it. But when Crystal said she was being watched by someone, I tried staking out the whole night for a payout. I saw Lily leaving her house and followed her. She went to Nora's place and buried something near the front yard.
Later, she met with someone. They were talking about how Nora had fallen for their trap and that the black crystal was in the attic of the haunted house. They were planning to use it soon. That's why I rushed to that attic but got trapped.
Grayson, take pictures of each page and give them all the pages — it might be useful for them," Fred said.
"Thank you, Fred. It's the 15th today; tomorrow is the full moon. We've already booked a campsite. We just need to keep Nora safe and find the crystal," Zuv said with hope, though his inner voice told him, It's going to happen. You can't stop it.
"That's good. Wait — did you say today is the 15th?" Fred asked.
"Yeah, did you forget something?" Zuv asked.
"Tonight is the full moon. And it's already past eleven," Fred said, trying to sit up.
"No, it's not," Zuv said, his facial muscles tightening.
"Zuv, he's right. It's tonight, not tomorrow," Grayson said, looking at his phone.
Allan started nodding sideways, tears forming in his eyes, his legs stepping back.
"Grayson, please send all the photos to Crystal and let her know what's happening. We'll head to the campsite," Zuv said, handing back the papers with shaking hands.
Allan slowly walked out, his pace quickening.
"Keep calling Nora and see what was buried near the house," Zuv said as he hurriedly left, turning left and right to find the main exit.
By the time he reached the main gate, Allan had already brought the car around to the entrance. It was time to move quickly.
The drive was long and dangerous — Allan almost hit two cars and a divider, forcing Zuv to take over. Every slow car felt like an obstacle, every sound like noise.
When they finally reached the entrance, they ran. There was no security; people were sleeping so soundly it made them doubt if they were even alive. Nora was nowhere to be seen.
Zuv checked the belongings in the tent and found Nora's bag buried in a heap. The crystal keychain he had given her was shining in the light.
They grabbed her bag and phone.
Allan checked all the smaller tents, but she wasn't there.
A flyer listed activities, dates, and times, along with a map showing tent locations and areas to avoid.
They walked into two different rooms and quickly dismissed that Nora wasn't there and no one was managing anyone here.
They walked around and found the place where today's session was taken place. One by one they quickly glanced over each of the face lying on bed. Every one were sleeping with same clothes , in same position. Even skilled actors can't pull of this unique way of sleeping like a dead person. Everyone even seem to be breathing in same manner. Every bed is filled except one.
"Do you think she woke up?" Allan asked.
"Or taken." Zuv added with fear in his eyes.
"Then we must find people who are awake." Allan speaks and both of them exits the room..
As they walked out of the room. They saw dinner being arranged in a systematic order. And they decided to walk to place where the mentors were staying.
Nobody was found there.
"It would be stupid to stay outside late at night. We checked all the rooms and tents. Where could they have gone." Zuv asks.
"I don't understand either. I do see employees walking in and out of dinner area. But no security, no guardians. " Allan looks around.
"Yeah it's like they don't even care of breaking in" Zuv spoke.
And all the buzzers rang. Waking up the dead sleepers and the sleepy workers. Then quickly decided to hide near the tent where no one looked at.
They started to notice people walking out of the tent they had checked before.
"Hey hey you see that." Zuv asked.as he turned towards the tent which was little isolated and was clearly visible from where the stood. They had previously checked after not finding Nora in the bed. The tent was small and filled with planners schedules and books. It didn't have people in it. And it had not been more than few minutes since they had checked. Clearly they would have heard if a group of people walked in there.
"Yeah. Let's go check it out. Nora might be there too." Allan took little steps.
" She isn't there. Let's go check out the place." Zuv suggested. And both of them looked around and when bustling and clattering was high then sneaked in. There was nobody the room was left in the same state.
" Do you think we mistook." Zuv asked .
" What the empty room? No way. Nora must be in the crowd. " Allan spoke.
" Hey didn't you say you know the person Crystal talked to " Zuv reminded.
" Yeah. Tina? " Allan asked as he looked around.
" Can't we just ask her." Zuv aske.
" We could have if we had found her sleeping. She wasn't there anywhere. It's weird now that you reminded me. That bed was either Nora's or Tina's. Why only one bed was empty. " Allan spoke.
" That's weird. " Zuv replied and quickly ducked as he heard footsteps. And Allan quickly followed him.
Someone entered the room and turned off the light and pulled the door back.
The phone started to ring suddenly. Zuv just gave it to Allan in a rush. And Allan reduced the volume and sat still.
The light got turned one and off. After taking a deep breath they sat down fully.
