Kaelthar opened his eyes inside the dreamscape he created—an endless garden suspended above a quiet sea of stars. Each star shimmered with faint echoes of different realities, different worlds he once walked, some he had destroyed, others he had abandoned. The sky had no ceiling, only swirling nebulae and drifting constellations that moved like living things.

One by one, the girls appeared around him, their consciousnesses gently guided into the dream.

Rias was the first. Her crimson hair glowed softly in the starlight, her expression unsure but relieved. "So this… is your dream world?" she asked, stepping closer.

Kaelthar nodded. "A place where time doesn't chase us. A place where I can speak to you honestly."

Akeno arrived next, her elegance untouched even in a dream. She brushed a lock of black hair behind her ear, her violet eyes narrowing slightly. "When you say it like that… it sounds like something serious."

Koneko popped up behind her, ears flicking subtly. "Senpai looks too calm. That means trouble."

Yasaka entered last, manifested in a golden shimmer. Her presence brought warmth to the space, and when her amber eyes found Kaelthar's, she smiled with a gentleness that felt like sunlight. "You called us, Kaelthar-sama. What weighs on your mind?"

He looked at them—these women who had stood by him, cared for him, fought for him even when they didn't fully understand what he was.

And now, they deserved the truth.

Kaelthar exhaled slowly. "I'm planning to leave soon."

The stillness in the dreamscape tightened. Stars dimmed as though holding their breath.

Rias' voice trembled first. "Leave… where?"

"Beyond this world." His gaze lifted to the cosmos above them. "Beyond this universe. The Omniverse. I have enemies scattered across creation—creatures, gods, and things older than most existence. They're still out there. And I intend to… finish what I should've ended long ago."

Akeno's playful composure cracked. She stepped toward him. "You say that as if you'll just walk back home afterward. Kaelthar… you're talking about fighting things like you. Things on your level."

"Yes," he said.

Koneko crossed her arms, frowning. "You'll come back, right?"

Her voice was small. Too small.

Kaelthar softened. "I will."

"But you can't promise that," Rias whispered.

Silence followed.

Kaelthar didn't try to lie. He had lived too long, fought too many wars, survived too many beginnings and endings.

"I can promise that I intend to come back," he said quietly. "But in the Omniverse, intentions mean little."

Yasaka approached him with slow, steady steps. When she reached him, she rested her hand on his chest, right above where his heart would be. "Then why tell us now?" she asked softly. "Why burden us with your decision if you've already made it?"

Kaelthar met her eyes. "Because you are part of my life now. And I refuse to vanish without giving you the chance to understand."

Akeno looked away, biting her lip. "You should've told us sooner."

"It wouldn't have changed what I need to do."

Rias clenched her fists. "And what about… us? What are we supposed to do while you're out there chasing primordial creatures across creation?"

"You live," Kaelthar said. "You grow stronger. You wait for me… or you don't. But I won't chain any of you to my fate."

Koneko's voice cracked. "I don't want to lose another person."

He walked toward her and placed a hand on her head. She shut her eyes, leaning into his touch like she was afraid he'd disappear if she let go.

"I'm not leaving forever," Kaelthar murmured. "And I will always return to those who gave me something worth returning to."

Akeno approached them, her expression torn but resolute. "Then… tell us the truth, Kaelthar. All of it. No more half-answers. What are you planning exactly?"

He straightened.

"I plan to travel through the higher layers of reality—past the multiverse walls, through the Omniversal currents—until I find every being who once hunted me, hunted my siblings… hunted everything I cared for. I will erase them all so they can never threaten this world, or you, or anyone else again."

Rias inhaled sharply. "You're doing this for us?"

"No." His voice was low. "I'm doing it because I should've done it ages ago. But you… you are the reason I want to finish it quickly."

That made Akeno blush faintly.

Yasaka smiled, but there was sadness behind it. "How long… will you be gone?"

Kaelthar hesitated.

"In your perception? Maybe a few months. Maybe a year."He paused.

"In mine? It could be thousands."

Their faces darkened. Even Koneko looked shaken.

"But I can return anytime I want," he continued. "I can come home whenever I choose. Time means nothing to someone like me."

Rias stepped closer until she stood right in front of him. She looked up, red eyes shimmering. "Then promise us one thing."

He lifted a brow. "What is it?"

"Don't disappear without saying goodbye. Not again."

Kaelthar reached out, brushing her cheek gently. She leaned into his hand, fragile in a way only he was allowed to see.

"I promise."

Akeno moved beside Rias, crossing her arms with a half-smirk that didn't hide her worry. "When you come back, you better let us punish you properly."

Koneko tugged at his sleeve. "Bring snacks from other universes."

That actually made him chuckle. "If they're edible for mortals, I will."

Yasaka stepped in front of him last. Her gaze held strength, warmth, and something deeper—something that made the air around them warmer.

"When you come home," she said softly, "you won't return to the same world you left… because we'll be waiting, growing, preparing. So don't shoulder everything alone."

He looked at all of them.

Not goddesses. Not empresses. Not mortals clinging to the hem of a cosmic being.

But women he cherished.

Women whose lives, whose hearts, he could no longer ignore.

"I won't be gone long," Kaelthar said.

And in the dreamscape—under starlight that belonged to no universe—he pulled them all close, each in their own way, giving them the comfort of his warmth, his presence, his promise.

Tomorrow, he would prepare to leave.

Tonight, he stayed with them.
