Andres couldn't believe it even when the receipt and cheque were in their hands. His hands trembled as he read the receipt twice. He then looked at Karlos and Brandon, who were also in complete shock.

Both Brandon and Andres earned about 60,000 pesos each. Karlos paid them in cash, as he would handle cashing the cheque later.
Their expenses, including diesel, amounted to only 2,500 pesos, which was negligible compared to their massive profit.
That day, Andres excitedly explained to his wife that he had earned 60,000 pesos.
"A what!?"
Reina was so shocked that she almost dropped the pot she was taking out of Andres's bag.
"It's not even been an entire day and you already earned that much?" She didn't know what to say.
"I'm not even joking! We caught massive fish! Almost every hook had a fish on it, and they were at least half a meter long."
Andres explained everything they had experienced that day. Just like Andres, Brandon also talked to his parents about what had happened on the water.

Every step Delilah took made her heavy frame shake. She had disheveled pink hair, and her pink eyes looked nervously at the police station. Emanuel wore the exact same expression, they were both deeply worried and anxious.
Just an hour ago, they had received a call from an unknown number. Delilah had almost cut the call because she was busy playing mahjong, but the person on the line turned out to be her mother-in-law, Bruha Alejandro.
The old woman had cried out for help. While sobbing hysterically, she explained that she was at the police station and was facing jail time.
Delilah asked her what crime she had committed, but Bruha just wept and begged them to come save her. Delilah immediately contacted her husband and explained the situation.
Emanuel asked his manager for a day off, and the couple took a taxi straight to the police station.
Sweating and frantic, the couple walked in to find Bruha clinging to a man's leg, crying her eyes out.
"Please, Mr. Sebastian! I didn't mean it! Please forgive me! I promise you I'll never do it again!"
Mr. Sebastian was clearly irritated. He wanted to kick the woman away, but they were inside a police station. Sebastian was the new head butler of one of the mansions owned by the Alejandro family.
While managing the finances and auditing their resources, he had realized that someone within the mansion was secretly stealing food and household supplies. It had even reached a point where small appliances like electric fans and kettles were disappearing. Even a few small antiques had gone missing!
Unsure of what was happening, he decided to tighten their security. That was how they caught Bruha stealing a rice cooker, secretly stuffing it into her bag, and trying to walk away as if nothing had happened.
Sebastian was furious and directly confronted Bruha. He asked her if she was the one behind the missing items in the mansion, and Bruha had admitted to it condescendingly.
She had said: "So what if I'm taking these things? Don't you know who I am? I'm Bruha Alejandro! Caesar's third cousin is my husband!"
She had puffed out her chest and proudly declared that.
Sebastian had been stunned and even frightened at the time. Almost every butler who worked for the family knew exactly who Caesar was. He was the founder and Chairman of the Alejandro Conglomerate, the patriarch of the family line. Offending Caesar was the absolute last thing Sebastian wanted to do.
He had even apologized and allowed Bruha to leave. The old woman had simply scoffed at him.
Feeling that his position might be compromised, Sebastian immediately explained his side of the story to his direct boss, Heneral Alejandro.
Once in a while, Heneral Alejandro and his family would use that particular mansion for a change of scenery. Back when their children were still young, they had lived there. In fact, the third young master, Tonto Alejandro, was born in that very mansion. They hadn't had enough time to bring Mrs. Alejandro to the hospital, so she gave birth right there.
Anyway, Sebastian had apologetically explained what happened. But instead of reprimanding Sebastian, Heneral was actually confused.
"Huh? Bruha Alejandro? That old woman stole more stuff? I thought she stopped. Send her to jail," Heneral said simply.
"But sir, I thought you were closely related to her."
"We're not really that close. Her family consists of our third cousins at best."
He didn't even know Bruha very well. That old woman had merely begged them for a job, and Heneral had hired her out of respect for their shared surname. He recalled seeing the woman in their village back when he was still a young boy. She was already unpleasant back then.
