Seyla woke up from his couch. That same dream again… Sigh… I have to do a mission later… I will go to the police station first for consultation with the captain… It's already 10 am, so I had to prepare. Seyla lampoon while starting to get ready to go to the police station.
He cooked the chicken he had purchased on the market yesterday, and the seasonings. He cooked a dish named "adobo". When he finished cooking, he went to the living room, with the food he cooked, completely aware of last night's event.
He finished the food while doing his common routine. Watching television.
After he was done eating, he went to the bathroom to take a shower.
After showering, he dressed up, using the clothes he bought yesterday. And the black suit case with his equipment on it.
Before leaving, he imagined that his inside house would turn into traditional houses in this world.
After imagining, he opened his eyes and saw a different living room. He smiled and closed the door.
He saw a two-wheeled carriage and rode on it. He said "East Police station" and paid the driver two silver marks.
After the short ride, he finally reached the door of the police station.
He opened it and saw Nicole. He smiled.
Nicole saw Seyla in a new suit. She couldn't help but smile at Seyla. She said while smiling, "Looking good today huh, did you get your first job?"
Seyla chuckled, he sat on the chair beside the counter and said, "Yes, just escorting a person from the south part of the city to Archus household"
"Yikes, escorting while passing to the area filled with slums and crime, such a dangerous job." Nicole replied with a disapproving face, then she added, "And the job comes from the Archus household, how much does the job cost?"
"100 Crown notes, with 50 crown notes for the first installment. And if the person I'm escorting- his husband- died, there is no penalty" Seyla replied with a smirk on his face.
"Such a generous job offer" Nicole nodded, and continued her reply, "anyway, what's your purpose here?"
"I'm here to see the captain, I want him to look something for me" Seyla stood up and replied.
Nicole raised her right eyebrow and said to Seyla, "you want to know the future?, to know if the mission will be completed without any anomalies?"
"Yeah, you just gave me another reason" Seyla laugh while saying as he looked to Nicole, he continued, "I want captain to look into my past"
Nicole also looked at Seyla and said while smiling, "Why, did you not remember your past?"
"Something like that", Seyla replied.
Nicole looked at Seyla with suspicion, she said, "The captain is in his office. You know the way right? Just walk to the long hallway."
Seyla nodded. He opened the door behind the counter and started walking down the stairs, and to the long hallway.
Nicole on the other hand, "I want to know what they're gonna talk about" she stopped.
She saw a man's figure appearing on the door of the police station.
Seyla on the long hallway, finally reached the end of the hallway.
A door with a symbol of eyes in the center and a space above it.
Suddenly, the door swung open, revealing the small office room.
He stepped inside and saw Loren doing paper work.
Seyla said, "Captain, Im he-"
"You're here to ask about your past and your mission, am I right?" Loren interrupted Seyla. He smiled.
The fu-... Seyla lampoon, showing a fake smile, said to Loren, "Yes captain. How did you know?"
Loren looked at Seyla, he replied with a smirk on his face, "I'm a seer remember?, i already foresaw you coming"
Why do I feel scared to seers… Seyla lampoon, he said, "Right, I forgot"
"Come sit" Loren said to Seyla as he stood up and rang the bell beside his lamp, which is placed on the table.
Seyla nodded and sat on the couch.
For a moment, the door swung open. Nicole appeared holding two cups of black coffee and a bowl of biscuits. Then she left. The door closed.
Loren looked at Seyla and said, "Let's start, what do you want to know first?"
Seyla replied, "The past. Please."
Loren nodded.
