Chapter 108: on the intruder's ship
The reason is that he did not trust the world. Survival is not a joke. Anything can happen. It is especially so for the players. As long as he is not careful he would die here in a watery grave stupidly.
He would not play with his life and got ready to fight but also secure his way out when needed. If his diving equipment has any problems then he would definitely die. So he secured his life line first and then moved to help Revy shoot at those intruders.
Rock is running around like a blind fly at this time and Vicky did not have time to take care of him. He let him run around and follow the plot. It is not like rock would die or anything. He would survive in any and all possible places.
Vicky on the other hand shot to kill those people but purposefully missed few of them just in case they would not let the plot move on smoothly. Vicky waited till the big man snatch the painting that fell off the hands of rock and ran away.
Vicky did not chase after him because after their underwater exploration vessel slipped off the water started to rush into the submarine. It is time to escape and Vicky has to be careful not to get rushed to sharp places and get pierced by the broken metal plates.
It is really dangerous than coming in. Vicky quickly put on his diving equipment and got out of the submarine with Revy and rock. He floated up really quickly wanting to take a look at the situation outside.
Just kidding… Vicky already knows the problem outside and he is not stupid enough to go out and stick his head out of the water to let them shoot at him. Instead he let Revy do the work and quickly came over to pull her under water from the rain of bullets.
He dragged her away while rock followed silently. Vicky was very careful and hid his body behind the body of Revy. So the stray bullets that are flying did not graze of his body and cause unnecessary troubles for him at this moment.
Vicky dragged Revy away and the ship of the intruders sailed away without bothering with them. Vicky, Revy and rock waited for Dutch to come with the speed boat. When they arrived Vicky briefed about what happened.
He did not give out any complaints but a brief explanation has solved many things. After a brief talk they decided to strike that ship when the moon raises that is at night. Vicky did not say much but waited patiently to see the mood of Revy.
Revy naturally looked angry. Her anger is towards rock because of his words before and she looked much better than what she should be in the original plot. Also she got along with Vicky more.
Well anyone would love the person that is close to them like them with similar habits instead of someone that is quite distinct and think opposite to them. Vicky is the first category and rock is the second category.
But usually marriages happen with the reverse type like two opposites instead of two similar kinds. Even magnets are like that. Opposites attract and similar poles repel each other. This is the way of the nature and the way of the world.
Vicky is not worried because he is here to play and not to mess up the relationships between the plot line characters. It is soon night and the situation is not so good. Revy started to get more and gloomier as time passed by reaching the night.
When it was night the group of three set off, the group consists of Vicky, Dutch and Revy. Well when gloomy Revy putting on her clothes and adjusting the things Vicky was also there adjusting the things and putting on some extra protection.
He values his life more than the thrill of death like some rich second generation morons would be doing it with cool postures. Naturally the things that should happen have happened along with the plot. They rowed a boat to the ship of those soldiers looking people.
Well they did not look like proper soldiers because of their complete lack of vigilance. Vicky got on the ship and said to Dutch. "Dutch, can I look for some more guns and ammunition that we can take along when leaving.
After all, they have plenty in stock and we can use them in the later part instead of spending money to buy more of these things. It would be cheap to snatch a part of them along with looting the wealth of these people." Vicky said and Dutch nodded his head.
Well taking few things would not take long and they have to clear many levels of people anyway. Vicky turned towards Revy and said to her in a happy tone.
"Revy cheer up, I can smell that there is plenty of high quality stuff on this ship and we might be able to party tonight after leaving here." even after the words of Vicky there is not much difference in the face of Revy.
Vicky did not say much and started to pick a direction and go along. He specifically got the gun with silencer. He walks along slowly clearing the rooms with soldiers, one room after the next room and in the corridor. It is always a single shot and they would be dead.
Vicky moved really smoothly. Along the way he would collect the things and put them at one spot of the ship where they would be leaving later. This way he can directly transport them back to the ship. He also got few cases of high quality alcohol and some really good things.
He collected them very quickly and did not look exhausted at all. He is more like a little hamster than a human weapon when he collects the things. Also he would collect the things from the already dead people that are killed by Revy or Dutch along the way.
