"Tell me, why have you gone this far? I'm not really one to care about these kinds of details. But still, you're going to be arrested," Nolan said as he carried her down the hill.
A faint blush appeared on Dorila's face, and she smiled.
"Well… even after all these years, this is actually my first time being this close to the opposite sex. Regardless of whether you're a human, I've always kept my distance. I've never been this close to any man before," Dorila said.
Nolan glanced at her but didn't reply. He simply kept walking.
"This isn't something I really want to talk about," she continued. "But like I said, there are things that were never meant to happen. My plan failed. I wanted to go to the Demon Realm… but that's over now. I don't really have the time, nor do I want to say anything more than that."
She closed her eyes.
Nolan simply nodded and continued walking.
