A white room. Ender was standing in a completely white room with no doors and no windows, it was shining so bright that he had to cover his eyes from getting burnt.
Suddenly, the room started to change. He was in a place with mirrors and some wooden boxes. There were pillars amidst the room with each of them having mysterious symbols. In the center of the pillars, one pillar had a red eye symbol.
~ What is happening? Just now I was with my friends. Is this a dream…?.
He pinched his right arm in order to get the truth that he was in a dream or was he carried away?
~ OUCH!. This hurts, maybe; this is not a dream…
He started looking around those wooden boxes, as he opened one of the boxes, a weird black-and-red energy came out of it. It was so intense that when Ender tried to close it, he got sent several meters away.
The energy started moving around the pillars. The mirrors which were scattered throughout the room were now in front of Ender with his reflection, its only eye was glowing red and it was grinning at Ender.
The weird symbols on pillars started glowing and some fog energy started to form around the pillars with red-and-black aura. Voices were coming from the pillars. Some ancient voices which were deeply buried by the Gods.
Ender's nose started bleeding along with his eyes. He held his hand tightly to his eyes.
~ It hurts so much. Stop it! Stop it!
~ Why are you doing this to me!?.
He tried to say something but words couldn't come out of his mouth as he fell to the ground because he couldn't take it anymore.
His reflection in the mirror was grinning, seeing him in pain.
The central eye-pillar symbol now started to glow as all the pillars' energy was being absorbed by it.
The chants became louder. It was so resounding that the mirrors which surrounded Ender broke and pieces of mirrors hit his flesh.Ender, who was wounded and was in intense pain. With all his effort, he opened his bloody eyes
and saw the horror of his life.
His friends, families were crucified on each pillar with each draining down. But, the center one was empty.
He heard footsteps coming from behind. He turned around but he saw no one. Suddenly he heard a whisper from behind, as he glanced over his shoulders to see who did it, but no one was there.
"What do you want from me!?."
Ender screamed in fear.
"Why are you hurting my friends and
my family!?."
But there was no response. With that, he felt some force in his body as if someone was trying to control his body. He tried to run but it was too late as the force made him levitate in the air.
Ender tried his best to move forward or somewhere but it was of no use. His limbs became immobilized, paralyzed in place. In an instant, a girl appeared in front of him. Ender's bloody eyes became wide open.
Unexpectedly, he could now control his mouth.
"I – I was the reason for your death, kill me, hurt me, why?. Why are you after my friends'
families?. They are also your friends, your family!."
But she didn't reply, she just extended her hand to his chest, as he fell a force, now he was going to the middle pillar in the center.
~ No! No! this can't be!.
As he was about to touch the eye of that pillar. The room abruptly started to become white, the girl looked down at the ground as she was disappointed, she disappeared like a black-gray fog.
The pillars started breaking down. Even the middle one, his family, his friends, dissolved like dust. He was again in that white room.
~ What in the world is happening?!.
Ender was floating in the white room. He started hearing the voices of his friends.
"Wake up asshole!."
"Sleeping beauty, get up!."
He opened his eyes, laying on his bed while all his friends were beating, shouting at him to wake him up.
"Hey, stop it, idiots."
He said while stopping Sara's punch and laying on the bed. Even though he tried to hide what he experienced by rubbing his eyes, his friends found something wrong.
"Is everything alright?."
Misha said with a soft tone with a state of worry. Zack placed his hand on his shoulder.
"You look like you experienced a nightmare today."
"Huh? Nothing is wrong. I'm fine, just exhausted because of last night."
His eyes became shocked the next moment.
"Wait, did Harry find out that you guys are here?."
"Oh! Don't worry. Anne told him we just got here today and he believed it."
Misha said with a small laugh. While they were chatting. There was a knock on the door a little harder than usual.
"Come in."
Zack said while chatting with others.
Then Daniel came to the room, everyone's eyes shifted to him.
~ Why the hell is he here?.
Ender thought while looking at him.
"Everyone is calling for breakfast."
Daniel said with a serious tone.Daniel is the second eldest cousin of the family. He is only two years older than Ender and Zack.
He seems serious all the time but when it comes to teasing others, he has the upper hand above everyone.
Then they all started leaving for breakfast and in the end Ender was left behind.
He looked at the shelf where a frame was there. In it, he was much younger and a girl was with him. They both were in a park where the girl was sitting on a swing and Ender was pushing her.
Ender looking at the frame smiled slightly.
"I'm sorry, I couldn't save you that day."
He murmured to himself.
But then, a memory returned to him.
It was an aquarium where Ender and the girl were. She was looking at the fishes with wide eyes and jaw slightly opened.
"Big-brother, these fishes are so cute, can we take them home?."
"These are for decoration and people. If we take them home, what will people see when they come here?."
"Aww, Damn. It would be so good if we took them home."
The girl frowned.
"Don't worry, Marine, I will buy them in another store. Let's go home now, Mom and Dad must be waiting for us, I will buy you those fishes tomorrow."
"Really!?."
She exclaimed and jumped with excitement.
"Yep, sure, it's a pinky promise." Ender said with a warm smile.
She hugged him while Ender patted her head gently.
"Let's go now."
Ender was standing in the room, lost in his thoughts.
"Ender!. You won't get breakfast if you're this late."
Anne shouted at him from the dining room.
"Yeah coming!."
Ender said before leaving the room.
