Chapter 435 - 435. Scepter-level elemental treasure

The Voice of Dawn was currently resting on an uninhabited stretch of sea, only two or three hours' journey from the Twin Islands.

Everyone gathered on the deck, watching Alka.

Without further ado, Alka immediately took out the treasure. Everyone gathered around to examine it closely.

The new scepter-level treasure wasn't a single piece, but rather was divided into six separate parts.

Each part was a long, rectangular card.

Each card was 18 cm long, 7.5 cm wide, and approximately 0.5 cm thick.

Yes, the entire treasure was composed of six cards. Based on the six elements the treasure possessed, it was clear that each card represented a different element.

And the different colors of each card clearly indicated which element each card represented.

First, the red card, representing fire, reveals a treasure composed of three layers.

However, all three layers are extremely thin; even combined, they resemble a thick, flexible card.

The core in the center is the embryo that Alka had previously thrown into the ritual for gathering.

This layer is a single, thin crystal sheet, much thinner than the original embryo, likely due to Alka's compression.

The entire crystal sheet is translucent, emitting a different gemstone brilliance depending on its color.

The red card is a garnet red, like a ruby, yet one can almost see flames flowing within the red gem.

The back, on the other hand, features a hollow layer constructed from a copper-like metal.

The metal has been meticulously hand-carved and affixed to the back. The hollowed-out surface and the central crystal piece form a combined pattern.

The lines resemble flames.

The front uses the same metal, but the cutouts on it form a human figure.

It's a simple line drawing of a woman holding a torch, the simple lines perfectly outlining the torch in her hand and the flames on her body.

Next is the corresponding white-blue card, which exudes a chill just by its appearance. This card represents ice.

It has the same construction, except that the crystal slices in the center are a white-blue color like ice crystals.

The metal surrounding it is silver, adding a touch of chill.

The cutouts on the back form an iceberg-like pattern, while the front depicts a female figure standing atop a snowy peak.

The third card is made of brown crystal, set against a gold-like metal. This card represents the earth.

The back depicts a vast expanse of land, while the front depicts a female figure sowing wheat ears. The image looks vaguely like the Madonna.

Alka also drew inspiration from images of the Virgin Mary.

The fourth card is aquamarine crystal, paired with pure white metal. This card represents water.

The back depicts curling ocean waves, while the front depicts a mermaid holding a massive Holy Grail, constructed from these waves.

Water pouring from the Holy Grail entwines beneath her.

The fifth card is turquoise crystal, paired with wood-like brown metal. This card represents wind.

The back depicts a blowing breeze, while the front depicts a girl moving with the wind, as if condensed by the wind.

The sixth card is deep purple crystal, paired with a transparent, crystal-like material. This card represents lightning.

The back depicts thunder and lightning, while the front depicts a wild Valkyrie, whose eyes flash with lightning.

The six cards were constructed with a rich artistic flair, resembling exquisite custom-made works of art.

"Beautiful!" Several girls couldn't help but exclaim as they gazed at the deck.

The craftsmanship was truly exquisite, both in design and craftsmanship.

"Didn't you put enough care into designing our treasure?" Jason couldn't help but wonder as he gazed at the six cards.

Why don't their treasures have such beauty?

Alka had gone to such lengths to create her own treasure; it was truly enviable.

Seeing the envious expressions on everyone's faces was truly rewarding. Hadn't he strived so hard for such a result?

With a smile, he stacked the six cards together and placed them flat on his palm.

He closed his eyes and channeled his magic power into them. Seeing this, everyone stepped back, no longer disturbing him. Alka was about to master the treasure.

Magic flowed smoothly into him, and then six distinct colors emanated from his surroundings, turning the elements of the surroundings chaotic again. However, this change was as swift as it came and went.

It must be said that the movement displayed by the mastery of the artifact was not quite what one would expect from a scepter-level artifact.

Compared to the Galaxy, it was truly understated.

This also indirectly confirmed the artifact's excellent compatibility with Alka.

As Alka mastered the artifact, six cards began to swirl and float around him.

Like crystals radiating light, the patterns on the cards became even more striking and beautiful.

It was as if the girl in the painting had come to life.

With a wave of his hand, the red card, representing fire, floated slightly away. The light around it grew even brighter.

A flaming dragon-serpent appeared out of thin air, dancing in the sky at Alka's command. Then, spiraling, it slammed into the sea with a fierce momentum.

A vast amount of water and steam rose like clouds, rising into the sky like billowing smoke.

Next came the white-blue card.

Controlling the white-blue card, Alka waved his hand upward.

The white-blue card instantly froze the nearby sea surface into ice. Spikes of ice shot out one after another, spreading far into the distance.

When Alka tried to use the brown earth card, it became difficult, given the vast sea surrounding them.

In the end, he could only conjure stone projectiles from thin air and slam them into the water.

It seemed a little weak.

It seemed that this stone card could only fully unleash its power on an island.

Next came the aquamarine Water card, a card capable of producing dramatic effects at sea.

The sea surged wildly, forming a waterspout. Then, under Alka's control, the tornado began to take shape. It transformed into a giant sea creature, holding a trident, and began madly swinging its weapons across the ocean.

It looked incredibly imposing.

Tsunamis and crashing water currents were remarkably easy to create under Alka's control.

Then came the cyan breeze, roaring and sweeping in with a powerful swing. A tornado with swirling cyan wind blades was just as easy to create.

The purple card shone, and all sorts of lightning and thunder roared. Mighty thunder erupted from nowhere under Alka's control.

Everyone stood on the deck, watching Alka fiddle with his new treasure.

The more he fiddled with it, the more envious he became.

Six elements, each comparable to a Holy Grail-level elemental artifact, or even slightly better.

The coverage was so vast, it was as if Alka had become an elemental master, manipulating the elements to do whatever he pleased.

Watching this, Matlisa took out her water bottle.

"It feels like there's a conflict." Hearing this, Lucilia, sitting on Sofia's shoulder, turned around.

"How could that be? Your artifact, rather than controlling the flow of water, is more about the water contained within, isn't it?

It absorbs the water flow. Even if Alka attacks you with the flow, it will be completely absorbed by your bottle. However, others may not be able to control the water that gushes out of your bottle."

For Matlisa, the water stored in the bottle is completely under her control. She can even combine it with certain potions to amplify it for use.

It could transform dissolved water into potions or a large-scale sulfuric acid poison. Any water within the bottle could be controlled by Matlisa.

Of course, the prerequisite was that it could be placed in her water bottle.

Compared to Alka, simply controlling the water element was naturally less flexible. But in this specific area, it was clearly perfectly suited to Matlisa.

It was as if it had been tailor-made for her.

Matlisa nodded, looking at her water bottle. She was just saying it.

Overall, she still loved this treasure.

But she obviously wouldn't have to worry about other aspects anymore. With the six elements, Alka could operate it with ease most of the time.

"Really powerful," Sofia couldn't help but exclaim, standing behind Alka.

Hearing this, Alka turned and glanced at her. "Others might say that, but it's clearly inappropriate for you to say it."

Everyone nodded in agreement. Alka's was fancy, while Sofia's was truly powerful.

"While mine is suitable, the aura it wields is completely different from yours."

This was indeed true.

Controlling six elements, the aura and flexibility of his attacks were certainly unmatched by others.

Seeing the envious gazes, Alka smiled and said, "This is just the most basic use; there are even more powerful ones."

"Look! This is the real thing!"

Alka roared, unable to contain his hearty laughter, and then swung his hands violently.

Two of the six cards in front of him flew directly out.

The red flame card and the brown earth card overlapped, their elemental energies mingling.

Instantly, everyone saw a fireball, like a lava ball, condensing out of thin air and shooting out.

A large amount of steam and water rose from the seawater that crashed directly into it.

Although it was only a lava ball about a meter in diameter, with more magic power, it could definitely be transformed into an attack like a meteorite.

Alka reached out and waved again.

The white-blue and aqua-blue cards stacked together.

A stream of water appeared before everyone, then continuously launched into the distance, shooting out dense swarms of frozen spikes like machine guns.

Controlling the water flow, he developed the unique plasticity and flexibility of this element. The flexible water instantly stretched out a water bridge across the sea, connecting to the ship, and then immediately froze.

A walkable ice bridge was thus created.

The cyan card and the purple card stacked together.

The wind and lightning converged into a swirling lightning storm, thundering and flashing.

Watching the lightning storm, Alka seemed to have an idea and replaced the purple lightning card.

The wind and ice formed a blizzard.

The wind and fire formed a firestorm.

The wind and earth formed a sandstorm.

The wind and water formed a whirlpool.

Everyone stood there, stunned, watching the various storms constantly emerging around them.

This was only the most basic fusion, but at this moment, Alka was perfectly suited to blending the wind element with the other elements.

In this way, the various elements fused into a variety of bizarre attacks, which continuously emerged around them.

"...Incredible, truly incredible."

Simon muttered to himself as he watched.

When the elements merged to form even more outrageous attacks, the flexibility of this treasure increased to an incredible level.

"It's just two elemental fusions. Is it possible to fuse three or even more?" Sofia suddenly jumped onto Alka's shoulder and asked.

Compared to fusing two, fusing three would definitely be more challenging, but it could also create more interesting attack methods.

Hearing this, Alka nodded and said, "Of course, but the problem is that I've only just mastered the artifact. Two fusions are the best I can achieve right now."

After I finished speaking, Alka thought for a moment and said, "I'll give it a try."

As he spoke, Alka looked at the six cards floating in front of him, thinking about which three elements would be most suitable to fuse together and which he could achieve at this stage.

Then Alka thought of the simplest three fusions, which he should be able to achieve at this stage.

After all, he had only just mastered this artifact.

As he thought, white-blue ice, aquamarine water, and clear wind overlapped.

First, the water flowed, swirling with a gentle breeze. Then, a tornado formed, though only the water could be seen swirling within it.

The surrounding water flowed, seemingly on the verge of forming a vortex that would break the surface.

Arka controlled the water content, allowing the tornado to rise and prevent it from sinking to the bottom and becoming a vortex.

A chill entered the water, and with its own flexibility, the water formed into sharp, icy blades.

This was something that ice and wind alone could not create. Combining the two could only create a large-scale freezing effect similar to a blizzard.

But now, a killing vortex had formed.

The ice blades within the tornado spun wildly, their icy light clearly visible in the sunlight.

More water flow transformed into sharp, icy blades.

Arka controlled the brown card, floating alone.

Stone after stone condensed, each one fashioned into a humanoid form by Alka, and then tossed into the whirlwind of ice blades.

As soon as they were thrown in, they were instantly crushed into rubble and dust, then sucked into the whirlwind.

Watching the carnage, Jason couldn't help but touch his neck; goosebumps were spreading.

Alka controlled the storm for a moment, then immediately canceled it, breathing heavily.

The fusion of these three elements consumed more stamina and magicka than he had just played with for so long.

"Mixing the three elements is still a bit awkward. I need to practice controlling it."

Alka has just mastered it, and can only manipulate the attacks of the fusion of two elements with ease.

Furthermore, the fusion of elements doesn't just cause damage; it can bring advantages in many other ways.

"Excellent! This is already very good," Juanlu couldn't help but say from the side.

This treasure was clearly extremely powerful.

"You've truly become an elemental mage," Jason said, patting Alka on the shoulder.

This wasn't a tease, but genuine praise.

Alka waved the cards lightly in the air, and the six cards vanished.

"Of course, you don't have to call me elemental mage, just call me mage," Alka said with a smile.

Hearing this, Sofia nodded and said, "You're right, it's quite fitting. Think about it carefully."

One can use mirrors and space to open up the mirrored space and enter Alka's world. One can also change one's appearance and simulate other creatures. The mist of dreams can also control a certain amount of luck. Now with these elements added to the mix, Alka truly is like a mage.

Unpredictable and incredibly powerful.

"Haha, okay, enough of this. Isn't Simon's treasure finished?" Alka said, looking at Simon.

Hearing this, Simon remembered that he, too, had to show off his own treasure.

He simply spread out his hand, and a sphere wrapped in hollow metal emerged from his palm.

This metal sphere had a distinctly futuristic, azure energy emanating from the hollowed-out metal.

"That's the simple way to use it."

Simon said, grasping the sphere. Then, a stream of metal material emanated from his metal arm, enveloping the sphere and transforming into a hilt.

Energy then converged, and a shimmering energy blade extended directly from the hilt. This was the treasure's core function: the gathering of energy.

Magic power poured into the hilt, and the energy seemed to gather more and more. Simon swung it fiercely. A blade of sword energy slashed out, carving a hollow in the sea.

In his hand, the blade began to transform again, transforming into a futuristic, hollowed-out firearm.

Or perhaps a hand cannon?

He raised the gun and fired a shot into the distance. However, the structure seemed to have considerable recoil, and Simon even took a step back.

A ball of energy instantly launched into the sea, exploding with a massive splash.

"Of course, this is just the most basic application. The real use requires coordination with other treasures."

The reason why all his treasures were constructed in a mechanical style was naturally to complement his earliest treasure, the index finger, and enhance its mechanical functions.

As he spoke, the mechanical scales on his body began to form and extend, instantly completing Simon's transformation. After the transformation, the armor extended again, transforming into a mecha standing on the deck.

The mecha's arms and some of its shoulder materials began to converge into the sphere.

With the sphere as its core, a massive cannon, two and a half meters long and half a meter wide, was constructed.

The mechanical hands held the mechanical parts of the cannon and mounted them above it.

The treasure's index finger seemed to begin to radiate power, causing the machine to enter an overload state.

Everyone could feel the magic power beginning to gather in large quantities, a method somewhat similar to that of a magic gathering stone.

Apparently, Simon had used other methods to quickly gather magic power.

The mechanical legs began to change, becoming flatter and wider, resting against the deck like a gun mount.

"Bang!"

A resounding noise.

A beam of energy, as wide as an adult's shoulder, shot straight into the sea.

When the energy dissipated.

A deep hollow appeared on the sea surface, and a large amount of seawater began to fill it.

Then, what seemed to be a massive explosion at the bottom of the ocean floor.

A large number of bubbles and a large bulge suddenly appeared on the sea surface.

Clearly, the explosion occurred deep beneath the sea.

This was the attack and function Simon had designed for his own treasure.

It filled his lack of powerful offensive means.
