Chapter 29 - Family Dinner

Aurelius let out a sigh as he cleaned up all the scattered glass rather quickly, while he also touched his noticeably more handsome face - that he saw a faint reflection of in his window - as he frowned and thought.

Strange, I shouldn't have gotten a boost in my appearance, since even Aurelius had about an 80% resemblance to me. Hmmm... ah - snapping his fingers.

"That's it!" It didn't take him long to come to the realization that this entire time his body most likely was always on the verge of losing control up until now, meaning his body never was truly stable enough for his features to properly develop and match what he should look like.

And given the fact every other sibling was extremely attractive - same with his mother and father - his useless Beyonder characteristics were just holding him back this entire time.

With a nod of his head and deciding not to think of it further, Aurelius snapped his fingers and declared in a 3-meter space that the clothes he was staring at - not putting themselves on him - would cause them to get flung into dog dung.

Causing the still clothes he stared at to ''freak out'' before quickly dressing themselves on him, causing him to be dressed up in a simple, old-fashioned black and gold suit with the pattern of eyes and crowns somewhat sprinkled throughout the bottom of his long overcoat.

Satisfied, Aurelius grinned - or at least tried to - before realizing he still had an overly neutral expression on, making one wonder, if they only gave him a glance, if he was dead.

Of course, noticing this caused Aurelius to lampoon about the fact and wonder if he was being written by an edgy teen, before shrugging and leaving his room and walking down long, winding hallways.

And as he walked down them, slowly heading to the dining room, he frowned as he noticed the odd bronze pillars scattered about, that seemed to force him to follow certain rules unconsciously, without even being aware of the fact.

Causing him to stop and look at one particular larger one with what seemed like a golden eye with a pitch-black sclera, that seemed to stare back at him. Of course, this caused Aurelius to heavily ponder what it could be, as a will bore down into his consciousness that was heavy and imperial, nearly causing him to kneel.

As he felt a bubbling sense of boredom - no, it wasn't that. It would be better to call it emptiness, burden, and superiority - as a voice appeared in his head that was somewhat monotone: ''It seems you nearly lost control to "His" will.''

This caused Aurelius' eyes to narrow, as his eyes - which were becoming more limped and less clear - slowly cleared away a ''fog.'' He thought in confusion: how? I didn't even do anything that could allow for the will of the oldest one to awaken within me - or did I?

Slowly tilting his head to the other side and closing his eyes, Aurelius pondered over what he could have done, but a voice interrupted his thoughts that seemed somewhat weak but undoubtedly majestic and somewhat grand: ''No, not ''Them'' - "Him." It seems, though it was only a brief moment within the Nation of Disorder, you've been corrupted by the Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth for Blessings.''

Hearing this, Aurelius' eyes instantly cleared as his heart raced and he shouted out loud: ''What!?'' Fear gripped his heart for the first time in a while as he trembled, knowing even though the 4th epoch was approaching its end, the will of the Celestial Worthy was still at its strongest - enough to take over whoever held both one of ''His'' Sefirot and was at least a sequence 2 - to revive.

And to make it worse, even if he wasn't a vessel for resurrection, he was still in some way within the web of the Celestial Worthy, a pillar of the universe who without a doubt will win in the end, no matter what.

Because the Celestial Worthy wasn't and will never be human. ''His'' patience is as high as the sky, and ''His'' steadiness could be described as firm as a mountain, and ''His'' plans so numerous that every star in the sky couldn't even compare to their number.

Lord of Mysteries; King of Space-Time; Beacon of Destiny; Embodiment of Sefirah Castle; Dominator of the Spirit World - ''He'' whom the Outer Gods yearn for the eternal slumber of THE Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth for Blessings.

As his thoughts raced, Aurelius fell on his knees, despairing, as an infinite abyss of hopelessness crushed the small hope he kept in his heart about surviving, or at least living a decent life.

Which further led to one thought he had the moment he became aware - to just kill himself. However, cutting off those thoughts, the Celestial Thearch spoke up once more: ''No need to feel such overwhelming despair - as said before, I shall assist you, even if you don't want me to.''

Aurelius, hearing that, didn't give two shits, merely wanting to snarl but being unable to - thanks to his face being as dead as a fish's - as he muttered without care: ''Fuck off.'' He didn't much care for the cold words of a Sefirot that couldn't and would never understand emotions.

Much less his, at the current moment - ''Negative emotions are prohibited, and so is an unclear mind.'' Simple words, yet with the feeling of grand words spoken by a god or angel, flowed out, as forcibly Aurelius' emotions were calmed and his mind became clear.

Which caused a strange desinence within Aurelius, as he felt as if he should be cursing out the Celestial Thearch and be angry and crazy - yet he felt nothing of the sort. Instead, he felt remarkably fine.

As if even if the sky fell, he could still take the time to wonder how and why it fell, and how to fix it.

So dazed yet very lucid, Aurelius walked neither too fast nor too slow down the hall he was already in, as he reached two grand doors he didn't even take the time to look at, as he walked inside and looked around.

Then he bent down and vomited, as before him all his siblings were mutated into fleshy things - bronze scattered across their bodies - as their stomachs were burst open, showing bronze pillars slowly peeking out, as fur covered their bodies.

Resembling that of a monkey's he had seen at the zoo when on a field trip as a kid, growing out of their nails, as fleshy pus flowed out from their eyes and their ears, and their tails were all connected as if trying to feel some type of comfort from each other.

However, the scene just caused him to feel disgusted, and it was too bizarre for him to even grasp what fully was happening, as he slowly muttered ''Why?'' while gagging and feeling a deep sense of emptiness.

That didn't really come from him, but instead Aurelius - not Hei An - along with a sense he couldn't fully grasp, as scenes flashed in his mind of him being somewhat crazed, but them always being there, and-

''Hmm, it seems as though they died from not being able to handle your presence. Oh well, at least you don't have to bother acting like you care about them, and you can even use this castle as you please now.''

The Celestial Thearch didn't seem bothered at all, nor caring about everything, and in fact somewhat satisfied in certain aspects, as they started telling Aurelius a good enough plan to use the castle he was in as efficiently as possible.

But ignoring all this, Aurelius just slowly walked over to a seat he felt of importance, at the end of the dining table ''his'' siblings were sitting at, as he leaned back and closed his eyes in the chair he plopped down on.
