Chapter 134 - Chapter 134: The Forging of the Infinity Gauntlet

"Hey, Instructor Wu, I've already extended an invitation for Luo Feng to join the Extreme Martial Hall. Do me a favor and arrange a villa close to mine. Clear it out and make it available for him."

Rowan's voice came firm and casual over the communicator as he spoke to Wu Tong. His tone was calm, but his words carried a weight that few could ignore. After all, Rowan was not merely a warlord but a patrolling envoy with authority that reached deep into the organization. To bring someone into the Hall required only a few taps on the system and a single phone call.

"As you command, as you command, I'll see to it immediately!" Wu Tong answered hurriedly. He was still reeling from the shock that Rowan himself had personally called. That Luo Feng had such a connection to Rowan was something he had never even imagined. And Rowan wasn't just speaking as a casual acquaintance; he was arranging property and extending benefits on Luo Feng's behalf.

Luo Feng, standing at Rowan's side, blinked in disbelief. "Wait… that's it? That's all it takes?"

On the computer screen, Rowan had clicked twice, logged into the backend, and then casually phoned Wu Tong. Just like that, the matter was settled. Luo Feng had officially joined the Extreme Martial Hall.

Rowan gave a little shrug, his lips curving faintly. "What else were you expecting? You think I'd go through endless paperwork? I'm a patrolling envoy, Luo Feng. Extending an invitation like this is overkill already. Frankly, this is like killing a chicken with an ox cleaver."

Luo Feng scratched the back of his head, chuckling awkwardly. The thought of moving his parents into a villa in the Mingyue district by tomorrow filled his chest with excitement.

"Oh, that reminds me," Rowan said suddenly, flicking his hand to project the contract onto the holographic screen in the air. "Joining the Hall doesn't just mean the villa. You'll also receive some initial funds."

"Initial funds?" Luo Feng asked, his curiosity piqued.

"Of course. You're a warrior now. Weapons, equipment, cultivation manuals they're not cheap. Without funding, you'd never be able to get started." Rowan opened the Hall's digital marketplace, displaying rows upon rows of weapons and manuals, each tagged with staggering price tags.

Luo Feng's jaw nearly hit the floor. A single set of armor could cost millions. Some of the higher-tier manuals were worth tens of millions. He had never seen numbers so large in his life.

"Normally," Rowan explained, his eyes narrowing thoughtfully, "geniuses who are scouted early are granted twenty million credits in startup funds and fifty million in free manual purchases." He glanced at Luo Feng's contract and tapped his chin. "But you? You're my recruit. That deserves more face. Let's add a zero."

Without hesitation, Rowan adjusted the figures: two hundred million credits in startup funds, and five hundred million for free manual purchases. Then he submitted the contract.

Three seconds later, the system pinged with approval.

The contract was sealed.

Luo Feng stood frozen, his mouth open wide, utterly stunned. "Wait, what? That just… worked?"

He had assumed Rowan was joking when he casually added zeros. But no the Hall had approved it instantly.

"War God authority runs deeper than you think," Rowan said with a smile that carried both power and mystery.

Luo Feng swallowed hard. "So I really have two hundred million in startup funds… and five hundred million for manuals?" His voice trembled as he repeated the numbers.

"Yes," Rowan said simply. "If you don't believe me, log into your Hall account."

Hands shaking, Luo Feng entered his credentials. The system loaded, and there it was: two hundred million credits, five hundred million in free allocations. His entire life changed in a heartbeat.

"Rowan," Luo Feng stammered, staring at him with wide eyes, "you're not secretly the son of the Hall Master, are you?"

Rowan's face darkened instantly. "Get out."

He wasn't joking. His rank was already beyond most; if not for his lack of domain mastery, even Hong himself might not rival him.

Trying to play it safe, Luo Feng quickly changed the subject. His eyes scanned the endless lists of manuals, overwhelmed by the choices. "Rowan, what cultivation manual did you use?"

"Ninefold Thunderblade," Rowan replied without hesitation.

"Then I'll take the same," Luo Feng said decisively. He had long practiced blade techniques, and the top-ranked Destruction manual was designed for spears, not suited to him. But if Rowan had reached War God rank within a year using Ninefold Thunderblade, then it had to be extraordinary.

Rowan gave him an approving nod. "Good choice. It fits you."

He could remember, in another timeline, Luo Feng reaching the fourth level of Ninefold Thunderblade in just a few months a monstrous feat.

"Anyway, pick your weapons and manuals later. You've got the funds for it. For now, head home. Pack your things tonight so you can move into the villa tomorrow morning." Rowan waved his hand, clearly done with the conversation.

Outside, the sky had already begun to darken. Rowan himself needed to return to the Marvel world, to check on the forging of the Infinity Gauntlet.

Meanwhile, Luo Feng's day took a turn. Returning to his family home, he found his father bruised and bent, his mother shaken, and his younger brother Luo Hua struggling under the weight of packed boxes. It didn't take long before Luo Feng learned the truth: Zhang Haobai, an arrogant bully, had attacked his father and extorted them with outrageous demands.

Rage flared in Luo Feng's chest. His body trembled as he listened, and flames of fury all but burned in his eyes. Without another word, he stepped onto a discarded shield, channeled his new powers, and soared into the sky like an avenging spirit. His family stood rooted to the ground, mouths agape, watching him vanish into the night.

That night, Zhang Haobai's reign of arrogance came to a brutal end. Luo Feng stormed into his villa, beat him down, and severed his tendons, leaving him crippled. The authorities arrived, but upon witnessing Luo Feng's telekinetic powers, they hesitated. An ordinary thug striking at the family of a warrior was already a serious crime. To target the family of a telekinetic warrior was practically suicide.

The case was handled swiftly. Zhang Haobai and his kin were dragged away, their crimes recorded. Luo Feng, though shaken by his own impulsive violence, walked free. For the first time, he understood the privileges and the frightening authority that came with being both a warrior and a mental force user.

Rowan, oblivious to these developments, returned to Nidavellir. There, he and Wanda stood before the massive forge as sparks of gold danced through the air. The dwarves had been working tirelessly, hammering, carving, inscribing the most intricate runes Rowan had ever seen.

Inside the forge, a blazing golden sun pulsed, radiating power so intense that even the vibranium ship trembled in orbit. From within that star-like furnace, a shape emerged: a gauntlet, glimmering with incomprehensible potential.

Rowan's heart skipped a beat. "The Infinity Gauntlet… it's complete."

The dwarves bowed their heads, exhausted but triumphant. The air itself seemed to shiver with the power of destiny.

Rowan's mind raced. The path ahead was clear now, but so were the dangers. With the Infinity Gauntlet forged, the universe itself would soon shift.

And he had to be ready.
