"Is this the Three-Tails, Isobu?"
As the summoner, Yugito Maru was seeing the legendary Tailed Beast for the first time.
"Get out of here, now!"
Guren hurriedly pulled Yugito Maru away from the lake's edge.
"Isobu's power is immense. If it spots us, we'll be killed in an instant!"
She then glanced at Kazama, who stood nearby.
"Kazama-sama, now that Isobu has been summoned, what's the next step?"
"You two stay hidden. I'll handle Isobu alone," Kazama replied.
"What?!"
Guren's jaw dropped at his words. She knew Kazama was strong, but she never imagined he'd take on a Tailed Beast solo. This was a creature capable of annihilating everything in its path—how could a human stand a chance against it?
While Guren was still reeling, Kazama charged toward Isobu, who loomed on the lake's surface.
"Oh no! I think Kazama-sama's done for this time," Guren muttered.
"Why?" Yugito Maru asked, confused.
"Isn't it obvious? That's the Three-Tails! No matter how strong Kazama-sama is, he's still human. How could he possibly beat a Tailed Beast?"
"Then we've got to help him!"
"Are you crazy? With our strength, we'd be cut down before we even got close to Isobu!"
"Then what do we do? I don't want Kazama-sama to die like this!"
Just as Guren and Yugito Maru were convinced Kazama was about to be slaughtered by Isobu, a colossal golden giant appeared on the lake, dwarfing even the Three-Tails. It had three heads, six arms, and stood like a mountain, its presence as commanding as a thunderstorm. The six weapons in its hands gleamed with divine light.
With the golden giant's appearance, the once-rampaging Isobu was battered into retreat after just a few exchanges, completely powerless to fight back.
"Holy—! What is that golden giant? It's actually beating a Tailed Beast?!"
"It's Kazama! It's Kazama-sama!"
As Guren gaped at the sudden appearance of the golden giant, Yugito Maru's shout snapped her back. She focused and spotted Kazama standing at the head of the giant.
"This… this can't be real!"
Guren collapsed to the ground in shock.
"Kazama-sama has power that rivals a Tailed Beast! This is practically the power of a god!"
Guren wasn't wrong—the Complete Body Susanoo was indeed a divine force. And Kazama was still holding back. If he unleashed the full power of the Complete Body Susanoo with its six divine weapons, Isobu would've been shredded to pieces already.
Kazama's main goal now was to provoke Isobu into unleashing a Tailed Beast Bomb so he could absorb its power.
"Here it comes!"
At that moment, Isobu, driven to madness by the relentless beating from Kazama's Complete Body Susanoo, finally snapped and fired a Tailed Beast Bomb at him.
Seeing the apocalyptic Tailed Beast Bomb hurtling toward him, Kazama's heart leaped with excitement. He dispelled the Complete Body Susanoo and rushed straight at the attack.
"Kazama-sama, watch out!"
Guren and Yugito Maru, unaware of Kazama's plan, saw him charging head-on toward the Tailed Beast Bomb. To them, it looked like suicide. As Kazama collided with the attack, they were certain even a godlike figure like him couldn't survive this.
The Tailed Beast Bomb was a Tailed Beast's ultimate weapon, capable of obliterating anything in its path. Getting hit meant certain death.
But just as Guren and Yugito Maru mourned Kazama's apparent demise, the mist on the lake cleared, revealing Kazama still standing—completely unharmed.
