Black Zetsu and Obito were both stunned, staring at Kazama's eyes.
But while they were reeling in shock, Black Zetsu found himself completely ensnared by Kazama's Kuryū Raigōka (Nine Dragons Thunder Flame).
"Kid, I'm attached to Nagato's body now! If you attack me, you're attacking Nagato!"
Surrounded by nine dragons of thunder and flame, Black Zetsu was shaken but clung to the belief that Kazama wouldn't dare harm Nagato's body.
What he didn't know was that Kazama had already mastered Rinne Tensei no Jutsu (Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique). Kazama could kill Nagato, force Black Zetsu out, and then revive Nagato afterward.
"Attached to Nagato? Doesn't matter—I'll still take you down!"
As soon as Kazama spoke, the nine thunder-flame dragons lunged at Black Zetsu.
"Aaagh!"
With a gut-wrenching scream, Black Zetsu, who had possessed both Nagato and Konan, was forced to flee their bodies in a pathetic retreat.
"You little brat, you're ruthless! Not only did you slaughter everyone in Konoha, but you even killed your ally Nagato! Sure, you've beaten me, but now you'll be abandoned by everyone, haha!"
Cackling, Black Zetsu vanished alongside Obito.
Once certain Black Zetsu was gone, Kazama immediately used Sanzen Yen'enka (Three Thousand Burning Flames) to restore Nagato's broken body. He then applied Yōka (Yang Flame) to revive the barely conscious Konan.
"Nagato!"
Waking up to see Nagato lifeless, Konan was overcome with grief.
"Don't worry. I'm about to use Rinne Tensei no Jutsu to bring Nagato back!"
"Rinne Tensei no Jutsu!"
Konan was both shocked and overjoyed at Kazama's words. She knew Rinne Tensei no Jutsu could indeed revive Nagato, but the cost was the caster's life.
"Kazama, I'm touched that you'd revive Nagato, but if you use Rinne Tensei no Jutsu, you'll die from exhaustion!"
"Don't worry, I won't die. Just guard me!"
With that, Kazama summoned the Jigoku En'ō (King of Hell) and began the process of reviving Nagato and the people of Konoha.
Konan couldn't believe Kazama's claim that he'd survive casting Rinne Tensei no Jutsu. Having spent so much time with Nagato, she knew full well the deadly consequences of the technique.
But as Kazama performed the jutsu, Nagato, lying beside Konan, was the first to awaken. Having been controlled by Black Zetsu the entire time, he had no idea what had happened.
Overjoyed to see Nagato alive, Konan quickly filled him in. When Nagato learned that Kazama had used Rinne Tensei no Jutsu to save him, he was deeply moved.
"I thought with Kazama's strength, he'd surely crush Black Zetsu's plans. But now, after using Rinne Tensei no Jutsu…"
Nagato trailed off, sighing helplessly.
"I tried to warn him, but he insisted he wouldn't die. And it seems like he's not just reviving you—he's been casting Rinne Tensei no Jutsu for longer than that," Konan said.
"What?"
Hearing this, Nagato used his Rinnegan's dojutsu to peer outside.
At that moment, the countless Konoha villagers who had perished in the battle were being brought back to life by Kazama's Rinne Tensei no Jutsu.
"This is impossible!"
Even Nagato, witnessing Kazama revive so many people at once, found it utterly unbelievable.
