Chapter 334 - The White God

Chapter 36 – The White God

With quick, irritated movements, Champa stripped off his sleeping pajamas and threw on his official God of Destruction uniform. As he did, he shot a sharp glare toward the angel standing beside him—Vados—and barked in a raised voice,

"Vados!! Why didn't you tell me earlier?! That guy is a Candidate God of Destruction from Universe 7!"

Vados, however, merely let out a small yawn. She casually gripped her angel staff, completely unfazed, and replied in her usual relaxed tone,

"Lord Champa… to be honest, even I didn't notice him at first."

"Ever since he entered Universe 6, he never once used the distinct divine power of a God of Destruction. If he hadn't fought Hit from our universe so seriously—causing that much damage—I might never have realized someone like him was here."

"Hm? Hit? Who's that? Someone who can actually fight a Candidate God of Destruction?" Champa asked, looking genuinely confused as he stared at Vados.

Vados explained lightly,

"He's one of the assassins in our universe. His strength is quite extraordinary… You could say he's currently the strongest fighter in Universe 6. Though that part isn't particularly important."

"What's more interesting is that this Candidate God of Destruction seems to be deliberately holding back."

"He's continuously using the divine energy within his body to neutralize every one of Hit's attacks. Most likely, he's using this battle to refine his control over Destruction Energy—to accelerate the transformation of the energy within him into true God of Destruction power."

"And, Lord Champa, haven't you done something similar yourself in the past? You even crossed into Universe 7 to look for strong opponents. Don't forget—Lord Beerus had already become a God of Destruction long before you were officially appointed."

"And back then, Lord Beerus didn't stop you either. If we suddenly interfere now, wouldn't that make us look rather childish?"

Vados's explanation sounded perfectly logical.

However, in truth, it didn't fully align with what Tachibana Kyūjō was actually doing at the moment.

If the two of them knew that what Kyūjō was currently achieving was an entirely new form of understanding of a second divine power—Perfected Ultra Instinct, the ability of the Angels—they would undoubtedly be utterly shocked.

Would they stop him if they knew?

That much was uncertain.

At the very least, for now, Vados's explanation was enough to make Champa frown deeply.

Fine. He'd consider this a favor returned to Beerus.

Later… he'd settle the score with that Candidate God of Destruction!

How dare he disturb my sleep… From Universe 7, huh? If I don't smash you flat, I won't deserve the name Champa!

With those thoughts, Champa didn't even bother changing properly. After giving Vados a few brief instructions, he flopped back down and promptly fell asleep again.

Meanwhile, in the vacuum of Universe 6…

Two dense, violent vortices of dark purple energy continued to crash into one another at incomprehensible speed. Yet now, a subtle but unmistakable change had begun to emerge.

Amidst that storm of dark purple energy, Tachibana Kyūjō stood with his eyes closed, as if completely unaffected by the hundreds of consecutive strikes delivered through Hit's Time-Skip technique.

From within Kyūjō's body, a faint white radiance slowly began to leak out, gently wrapping around his black hair and frame.

The light did not fade. Instead, it gathered, swirling calmly around his body.

Even the red shadow around his eyes—one of the defining traits of the Super Saiyan 4 transformation—gradually disappeared, replaced by pure white… a sign that the divine power of Ultra Instinct, possessed by the Angels, was beginning to merge with his body.

An overwhelming spiritual pressure suddenly erupted from Kyūjō, surging straight toward Hit—the legendary assassin of Universe 6.

After consuming hundreds of Senzu Beans from the capsule belt at his waist, and fighting for who knew how long against Hit's Time-Skip, Kyūjō had finally—thanks to the extraordinary nature of his Super Saiyan 4 body—reached a foundational understanding of Ultra Instinct, the power wielded by Angels.

And from that moment on…

Hit's Time-Skip could no longer touch him.

No matter how many attacks were unleashed within that half-second window—once Kyūjō opened his eyes and his pupils shone with white light—he now looked every bit like a true god.

With effortless movements, he didn't just deflect Hit's attacks. He twisted their force, turned them around, and sent them right back at their source.

At this point, no matter how powerful Hit was or how terrifying his techniques might be, before Tachibana Kyūjō in his White Ultra Instinct state, he was no different from a child being thrown away again and again.

And that was only because Kyūjō still wasn't using his full power.

Before this battle, Kyūjō's base strength in his normal form was around six trillion. In his Saiyan God of Destruction form, his power was already beyond numerical measurement.

Meanwhile, Hit only possessed two trillion.

Now, in his Super Saiyan 4 form, Kyūjō had six trillion battle power. And once White Ultra Instinct was added on top of that… his strength surged once more, reaching a level comparable to the Saiyan God of Destruction state, completely beyond quantification.

Hit, on the other hand, was still stuck at around two trillion.

And with his Time-Skip technique rendered ineffective by Ultra Instinct, he was utterly powerless against Kyūjō.

When Champa finally arrived at the battlefield aboard the Angel vehicle piloted by Vados, the sight before him… left him stunned.

The power of a God of Destruction—purple—and the power of an Angel—white—coexisting within a single body.

Although the two forces had not fully fused and were still in their early stages, Champa couldn't help but swallow hard.

Cold sweat trickled down his face…

"Where the hell did Beerus find a disciple like this?! How can someone be this strong?!"

In truth, Champa wasn't the only one trembling.

Even Vados, the attendant angel of Universe 6, wore an expression like that of a human staring straight at a demon made flesh.

Throughout the history of this universe, aside from their father—the Grand Priest, ruler of all Angels—only an extremely small number of beings had ever wielded two divine powers at once.

And today, she was witnessing another one with her own eyes.

Though Kyūjō had yet to perfect either power, and had not truly fused them together, he had already crossed the threshold.

And once that threshold was crossed, the rest was only a matter of time.

Which meant that in the near future, this world would welcome the birth of a new divine being—someone who could one day stand on equal footing with their father, the Grand Priest himself.

The Grand Priest was an existence both supreme and untouchable.

Across the twelve universes created by Zeno, and the countless multiverses beyond them, only a handful of beings throughout all of history had ever reached that level of power…

And today, Vados watched as one of them was born right before her eyes.
