Spider-Sense is currently the ability that Connors uses the most.
It was also the existence of Spider-Sense that allowed him to discover Xue Xi's agent's inexplicable hostility towards him and sense the agent's killing intent towards the Grayson couple.
Combining these two, along with some speculation, it wasn't difficult for Connors to discover that this hook-nosed agent was the murderer who killed Dick Grayson's parents.
Although the agent was also in the same hotel as Xue Xi, it was troublesome to either check the room information at the front desk or knock on each door to find him, so after leaving Wayne Manor, the first person he contacted was Xue Xi.
Given the character of this hook-nosed agent, who was like a Ninja Turtle, he would likely do the same as last time on the hotel rooftop: peek, listen, and then secretly cause trouble.
It was only a matter of time before Dick Grayson investigated and found out the identity of the murderer, and it was even possible that he had already investigated and was just waiting for an opportunity to strike.
Therefore, in order to avoid prolonging the situation, Connors simply intervened directly and accelerated the process.
Thus, the hook-nosed agent, who had his head covered and his arm bones broken, was thrown into the Stadium by Connors.
A loud bang attracted the attention of Dick Grayson, who was kneeling on the ground, lost in memories.
When he looked up, what he saw was the face of the murderer he had been investigating these past few days, the one who killed his parents.
Although that face was slightly distorted by pain at the moment, it didn't prevent Dick Grayson from recognizing him.
So, at the age of eight, he pounced on him, punching and kicking hysterically, even biting with his teeth, wishing he could tear the hook-nosed agent to shreds.
But the agent was, after all, a young and strong adult. Even with one hand's bones broken, he was not someone that the eight-year-old Dick Grayson could completely defeat at this time.
But even though Dick Grayson's mind was consumed by hatred, he didn't forget the skills he had learned from his parents at this moment.
Just like that, one person who was agile but weak in strength, and another who was strong but had a broken arm and was constantly tormented by pain, were performing a dramatic play under the illumination of the Stadium's floodlights.
"Do you find this amusing? Letting them entertain you like wild Beasts in a cage?" Batman's voice echoed in Connors's ears.
"Not really. I just knew you would come, which is why I let them tangle. Now it's your turn to step in."
Connors said, looking at Wayne, who was wearing a Batsuit that was a full size larger than usual.
Spider-Sense had detected Batman's presence when Connors entered the Stadium, otherwise it wouldn't be Little Dick facing the hook-nosed man alone now.
"It better be." After Batman finished speaking, he leaped up from beside Connors, his long cape trailing behind him quickly becoming electrified and incredibly rigid, allowing his massive and heavy body to barely glide.
At first glance, one might even think the person inside the Batsuit was Bane - Connors chuckled inwardly.
Bane hadn't appeared since he broke Batman's back early that morning last time, and no one knew what action he was plotting again.
Last time, Connors had no strength to fight Bane and could only passively dodge, but now his physical fitness was comparable to Wayne's, plus the existence of a series of abilities such as Grandmaster of Unlocking, Master of Tricks, and Spider-Sense.
If the two met one-on-one, Connors had a great chance of taking him down, though he would certainly be injured.
As for taking down Bane without injury, it was almost impossible at the moment.
Within a few thoughts, Batman had already arrived at Dick and the agent. At this time, Dick had gained the upper hand. All the props left by the circus had become his weapons to attack the other party, and he was now even holding a broken rope, attempting to strangle the agent.
"Stop, Robin." Batman shouted at Dick Grayson from the shadows.
Dick subconsciously let go, and the agent next to him seized the opportunity to try and strangle Dick in return, but was kicked away by Batman.
"You can't kill him, that will lead you down a path of no return, Robin." Batman said to Dick, "I know your pain, because I've had the same experience as you—"
"All it takes is one bad day to drive a normal man insane. Normal men are just one step away from the Joker."
"After my parents were killed, there wasn't a day I didn't want to kill the murderer. I thought about it every day, but if I really killed someone, I couldn't turn back."
"Son, hand him over to the law."
"I will teach you to gain strength from hatred."
Dick looked at the hook-nosed agent who had been kicked away by Batman and hadn't gotten up for a long time, remained silent for a while, and then asked:
"Who are you?"
"I am Batman."
Holding Dick with one hand and taking out his grappling gun with the other, Batman prepared to take Dick back to the Batcave.
Due to Connors's intervention, the time when Dick met his enemy was advanced, and this hook-nosed murderer was about to face legal punishment.
Dick had no reason to flee Wayne Manor anymore, and Batman also used this opportunity to plant a seed in Dick's heart, preventing him from going down the wrong path in the future.
However, just as Batman put Dick into the batmobile and looked back at Connors, he found that Connors was twisting the hook-nosed man's neck with one hand.
The hook-nosed man, who had been kicking his legs wildly due to the pain, immediately stood at attention in the air.
"Batman has a no-kill rule, but I don't." Connors said to the hook-nosed man in his hand, whose neck was already twisted but wasn't completely dead yet.
Spider-Sense noticed Batman's gaze on him, and Connors turned back, smiling at Wayne, who was somewhat incredulous, and said:
"Keep this from Robin - by the way, help me overwrite the surveillance footage here."
He didn't explain why he killed the hook-nosed man, but instead reminded him about the surveillance and then proceeded to dispose of the body.
Friends who kill often know that killing is easy, but disposing of the body is difficult. To avoid being traced by the Gotham Police and a series of other people later, he had to throw it somewhere no one could find it.
The sewer was the first choice, but it wasn't safe. After thinking it over, Connors decided to throw it into Gotham Forest.
No one dared to go there, so there was naturally no risk of it being discovered.
Using a Little Trick, Connors put his arm around the hook-nosed man's shoulder. Although he was already dead, he walked shakily on the ground as if he were alive, following Connors's movements.
He looked like someone who was drunk.
He planned to use the supercar Wayne had given him to dispose of the body, but a taxi parked by the roadside caught his attention.
Strictly speaking, it was the driver who caught his attention; it was the same guy who had threatened him to buy a gun before.
"Gotham Forest."
After putting the body in the car, Connors spoke, using a Master-level Little Trick to create an illusion. From the driver's perspective, only one person's figure could be seen.
Then, with another Golden Cicada Shedding Its Shell, Connors watched the driver drive the body towards Gotham Forest, quite curious about what expression the guy would have when he tried to force-sell military supplies to a corpse.
By the time he returned to the supercar, he didn't know what expression the taxi driver had, but his own expression wasn't much better.
The supercar that Wayne had just given him was stolen again!
In the spot where the supercar had been parked, there was only a very familiar motorcycle. Connors walked over.
He found a note on the motorcycle's dashboard.
The note had a drawing of a lazy black cat and a line of delicate handwriting:
"When you left Wayne Manor, did you leave behind a charming little wildcat?"
