Chapter 453 - Chapter 450: Defeating Hagoromo! Amenominaka!

Kitazawa completed his final system quest and obtained 100% of Senju Hashirama's physique.

Having 100% of Hashirama's physique didn't change him that much, but it gave him an enormous amount of chakra.

In the original story, Hashirama once said that Naruto's chakra—plus half of the Nine-Tails—was about the same as his.

Kitazawa's current chakra reserves could basically be described as endless.

Even among the Ōtsutsuki clan, it would be hard to find anyone with more chakra than him.

"Konan, I'm heading out for a bit."

Kitazawa stood up and looked at Konan, who was standing behind him.

Konan immediately acknowledged.

Kitazawa raised his hand and gave her black-stockinged thigh two light pats before vanishing from the spot.

In the next second, he was already on the moon.

The moon had been created by Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo and Ōtsutsuki Hamura using Six Paths: Planetary Devastation.

And deep within it, Ōtsutsuki Kaguya was sealed.

For Kitazawa, there were two very simple ways to release her.

The first was to use Yomotsu Hirasaka or Double Kamui to forcibly tear open space and reach her sealed location.

The second was even more straightforward: shatter the moon—meaning, break the Six Paths: Planetary Devastation itself.

There was no need to destroy the moon.

And beneath it was the shinobi world; if debris rained down, it would definitely cause casualties.

The shinobi world already belonged to him now, so there was no way he'd casually wreck his own world for no reason.

With that in mind, Kitazawa activated his Rinnegan.

He raised a hand, and the space in front of him instantly began to warp.

Before, when he used Yomotsu Hirasaka, it was as easy as going wherever he wanted.

But this time, trying to reach Kaguya's sealed location, he felt an extremely powerful resisting force.

Even so, to him, it was nothing.

"Stop!"

At that moment, a voice rang out.

Kitazawa turned his head and saw a young man in a white robe, with a Rinnegan, and horns on his forehead.

There was no doubt—this was the Sage of Six Paths, Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo.

In essence, he was dead now.

But because he was so powerful, and with the effect of the Pure Land, he could still exist as a being of pure energy.

In other words, he no longer had a physical body.

"My lord," Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo asked politely, "what are you trying to do?"

He had been observing the shinobi world from the Pure Land, so naturally he had noticed Kitazawa as well.

Especially after Kitazawa defeated Nagato, Uchiha Madara, and Ōtsutsuki Toneri, showing tremendous strength.

But Kitazawa had never done anything that harmed the shinobi world.

And since he was also the teacher of this era's reincarnations of Asura and Indra, Hagoromo hadn't stepped in to stop him.

Now that Kitazawa was trying to enter Kaguya's sealed location, Hagoromo could not allow it.

"You're the legendary Sage of Six Paths?" Kitazawa countered.

"The Sage of Six Paths is indeed what the people of the shinobi world call me," Hagoromo nodded, admitting it.

"I've also heard a little about what happened a thousand years ago," Kitazawa said, stating his purpose. "I want to solve the Kaguya problem completely."

"That's impossible," Hagoromo frowned at once. "She cannot die. She cannot be destroyed. Sealing her is the best solution."

More importantly, in Hagoromo's view, Kitazawa was strong—but nowhere near Kaguya's level, not even close to Hagoromo himself.

But it wasn't strange for him to think that.

Among the enemies Kitazawa had beaten, the strongest were only Nagato, Madara, and Toneri.

None of them could compare to Ōtsutsuki Kaguya.

"You think I'm not strong enough?" Kitazawa guessed Hagoromo's thoughts and smiled. "I've long heard of the Sage of Six Paths. How about we spar?"

"If you lose, you give up on the idea of dealing with Kaguya," Hagoromo thought for a moment and said.

He was also curious about Kitazawa.

A powerhouse like this shouldn't exist in the shinobi world.

Ninjutsu originated from Kaguya, and that also determined that the shinobi world's upper limit couldn't surpass Kaguya.

More precisely, it couldn't surpass his two sons—Asura and Indra.

In fact, that was exactly what had happened.

For a thousand years, the shinobi world had become an arena for the reincarnations of Asura and Indra.

Each generation of reincarnations caused huge waves.

Especially the generation of Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara—even that had surprised him.

But surprise aside, it still hadn't exceeded his expectations.

Kitazawa, however, was bizarre.

He seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, and somehow possessed immense power.

Whether Asura or Indra, the source of their strength traced back to Kaguya.

Kitazawa's "source" looked similar to Kaguya's, yet wasn't.

Because if it were, he would at least have to be her direct bloodline—her son—to possibly have this level of strength.

But Hagoromo knew Kaguya's situation well: there was no third son.

The fact that Kaguya created Black Zetsu was also indirect proof of that.

[Current Mission: Defeat the Sage of Six Paths.]

[Reward: Amenotejikara.]

[Accept?]

While Hagoromo was thinking, three lines of text appeared before Kitazawa's eyes.

Kitazawa nodded in satisfaction—just as he expected, a new system quest had been triggered.

Although the reward came from Uchiha Sasuke rather than Hagoromo, Amenotejikara was still excellent.

It was Sasuke's Rinnegan ability: swapping positions with a target you can see.

The target could be either a living being or an object.

In close-range combat, Amenotejikara was devastatingly effective.

And with Kitazawa also having Ame no Minakanushi and Flying Thunder God, he'd be able to fight and flee at will—extremely hard to catch.

"We'll stop at a point," Hagoromo took a few steps back and said.

He had a fairly good impression of Kitazawa.

"Please," Kitazawa nodded.

Almighty Push!

Hagoromo's Rinnegan pulsed.

An invisible repulsive force surged toward Kitazawa.

Where it passed, it was like a storm sweeping through—its power far surpassing Nagato's.

That was only natural.

Hagoromo was essentially a healthier, upgraded Nagato.

Almighty Push!

Kitazawa didn't move at all, meeting it with his own repulsive force.

Boom!

The two forces collided, producing an explosion beyond imagination.

The ground trembled as it was torn apart; rubble was swept up by chaotic chakra currents and blasted outward in all directions.

Hagoromo's body slid back half a step against his will.

He stared at Kitazawa, shocked.

In the first exchange, he had actually come out slightly worse.

In his entire life, only Ōtsutsuki Kaguya had ever put him at a disadvantage.

Could it be that Kitazawa's strength was already comparable to Kaguya's?

Even as he struggled to understand, Hagoromo immediately got serious.

A howling wind rose, and the temperature around them dropped sharply.

A towering winged war-god enveloped Hagoromo.

A terrifying aura spread out.

It was a Perfect Susanoo.

But it dwarfed the Uchiha clan's Perfect Susanoo.

If the Uchiha's Perfect Susanoo was, at most, roughly the size of the Nine-Tails, then Hagoromo's was the Ten-Tails.

And that was exactly how it was in the original story:

Hagoromo's Perfect Susanoo once blocked a Ten-Tails Tailed Beast Bomb with a single slash.

Yasaka Magatama!

Hagoromo's Susanoo snapped its arm.

Nine magatama linked together spun as they slammed toward Kitazawa.

Sukunahikona!

Kitazawa glanced at the nine magatama.

The massive projectiles instantly shrank and flew past his side.

Hagoromo's heart jolted.

What kind of ability was that?

He didn't have time to think—his Susanoo gripped twin blades and aimed at Kitazawa.

The enormous swords swept through the air, kicking up wave after wave of piercing howls.

At that moment, a sword appeared out of nowhere and blocked the twin blades.

"How is that possible?" Hagoromo looked up and saw the owner of that sword—

A Susanoo, slightly larger than his own.

Which meant Kitazawa's ocular power was even stronger than his.

After all, a Susanoo's size depended on the user's ocular power.

Kitazawa's Susanoo forced the twin blades aside with sheer strength.

Its wings flared, it leapt high, and the greatsword in its hand came crashing down toward Hagoromo's Susanoo.

Hagoromo's expression turned grave.

He controlled his Susanoo to respond while raising his hand.

Truth-Seeking Orbs!

Nine Truth-Seeking Orbs shot out like nine Tailed Beast Bombs.

Tenseigan Chakra Mode!

Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!

Dense chakra cloaked Kitazawa's body.

He grasped the golden radiance and hurled it.

The golden light pierced through the nine Truth-Seeking Orbs, triggering a violent explosion at once.

Within the chaotic chakra currents, the golden light streaked out like a flying blade.

At this point, Hagoromo could confirm it: Kitazawa was stronger than him.

He immediately swept a hand.

Almighty Push!

A fierce burst of repulsion forced the golden blade-light to halt.

Hagoromo exhaled sharply.

After losing his body, he could still fight—but not for long.

That was exactly why he had nurtured his two sons.

Because in an incomplete state, facing Kaguya head-on, he had no chance of winning.

With that thought, Hagoromo decided on one final gamble.

He slapped his hand toward Kitazawa's Susanoo.

Ultra Almighty Push!

A terrifying repulsive force shoved Kitazawa's Susanoo backward.

At the same time, Hagoromo controlled his own Susanoo and flew up into the air.

He looked at Kitazawa and clapped his hands together; distinctive markings appeared around his eyes.

Sage Mode—Mount Myōboku's Sage Mode.

Back then, when Hagoromo defeated Kaguya, Sage Mode had played a major role.

With Sage Mode boosting him, Hagoromo's presence surged again.

With a thought, his Susanoo raised its twin blades.

The blades drew in natural energy—in an instant, gales tore through the moon's sky, lightning flashed, and it looked like the end of the world.

"Watch out!" Hagoromo warned, then swung hard.

Two massive sword-slashes tore across the heavens.

Kitazawa originally planned to use Sage Art: Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands, but then decided it wasn't necessary.

He lifted a hand and used Takamimusubi-no-Kami!

Those seemingly unstoppable sword-slashes were absorbed.

In the next second, the two slashes reappeared—only now they had changed targets, roaring straight toward Hagoromo's Susanoo.

Even as he was stunned, Hagoromo hurriedly made his Susanoo raise its twin blades to block.

A cracking sound rang out.

The two slashes split his twin blades apart and cleaved his Susanoo in half at the waist.

Hagoromo stared blankly at the scene.

Kitazawa hadn't just reflected his slashes—he had strengthened them so much that Hagoromo couldn't even withstand his own attack anymore.

"I truly didn't expect you were still hiding strength on this level," Hagoromo let out a slow breath.

He even had the faint feeling that Kitazawa still hadn't gone all-out.

From start to finish, Kitazawa had looked completely relaxed.

"You're too kind," Kitazawa said with a faint smile.

"Your strength is comparable to Kaguya's, but you haven't opened an overwhelming gap," Hagoromo paused, then asked, "I'm curious—besides sealing, what other method do you have?"

"Kaguya really is immortal," Kitazawa replied. "I can't kill her, but I can weaken her and drain her chakra."

"That will be difficult," Hagoromo said thoughtfully. "She ate the God Tree's fruit—absorbing chakra is her specialty."

"If you don't try, how would you know?" Kitazawa said casually. "Worst case, we just seal her again."

He looked at Hagoromo and added, "I'm sure you've kept some countermeasure in reserve."

Hagoromo froze.

He didn't expect Kitazawa to guess that so accurately.

A thousand years ago, they sealed Kaguya with Six Paths: Planetary Devastation.

The difference between Six Paths: Planetary Devastation and ordinary Planetary Devastation was the addition of Yin and Yang power.

And that Yin-Yang power—Hagoromo still retained it, planning to pass it down to the reincarnations of Asura and Indra.

Kitazawa knew this because in the original story, Hagoromo infused Uchiha Sasuke and Uzumaki Naruto with power.

With Hagoromo's power, they were able to seal Kaguya again.

"To be safe, I suggest you use the method you've prepared right now," Kitazawa said with a smile. "I can release Kaguya later."

"All right," Hagoromo hesitated briefly, then agreed.

Kitazawa nodded.

Once Sasuke and Naruto received Hagoromo's power, their strength would soar.

The two of them would basically be able to barely reach the Ōtsutsuki level.

Kitazawa was strong, but he still didn't want to deal with being swarmed.

After all, the Ōtsutsuki clan had plenty of members.

If the shinobi world gained a few more top-tier powerhouses who could handle them, that was only better.

"I'll need a week," Hagoromo said after a pause. "And I need to meet Uchiha Sasuke and Uzumaki Naruto."

"No problem," Kitazawa chuckled.

[Current Mission: Defeat the Sage of Six Paths.]

[Reward: Amenotejikara.]

[Mission Completed. Reward Granted.]

Kitazawa glanced at it, then raised his hand.

A black portal appeared before him.

"I'll take you to see Sasuke and Naruto."

Kitazawa stepped in.

Hagoromo followed right after him.

And the moon fell silent once more.
