I tried to fall asleep but I couldn't digest what Yuri had said. I kept tossing and turning, then I just started scrolling on my phone. I didn't notice when I slept but I woke up due to my stupid phone ringing.
" Hello." I said my voice still grouchy.
" Hi Hon, did you just wake up?"
" Yeah mom, I just did."
" Thank goodness you would've been late to school."

" I'm gonna pick you up from school today."

I hanged up the call. It felt so good, after so many years of hating and cursing her, I finally got what I want, a happy family .
I got dressed and happily hopped downstairs.
