It's been crazy so far, I hear the team is safe, but currently, we are not. I finished guiding those girls to safety and now have the regular staff to safety. Now our security and cybersecurity are dealing with their fodder. Mana, Juna, and Ana are helping the wounded and the dead. Iguro and Hana are fighting on their own different frontlines. Takeshi is handling communications, and Ayana is watching from the base.
Suzu is with the boss, and Hachi is preparing the ride out of this country at the moment. Yuto has been strategically destroying them, and with what he learned from Gray, he became much more cruel. Everything was calming down until a rocket hit where Iguro's group was. That's when our drones saw what hit us. It was a second-wave Uma Musume leader.
Takeshi then screamed," Iguro, it's an Uma Musume elite!!" Iguro and his crew immediately got serious and returned to battle. Iguro then ordered," Men, take your military enhancement pill." They did, and soon they began transforming and going wild. They soon started gunning down the heavenly armed members of the cult, and Yuto activated the kill drones.
That's when they started gunning for the Uma Musume. That's when she sliced all the bullets in half. She then put on her Uma Musume headphones, and her eyes began to glow. That's when I felt a chill down my back, and I felt absolute fear. She soon moved faster than I could see, slaughtering our drones first before landing and killing many of our men.
Iguro, the most experienced, dodged her blade. He tried to fight back with hand-to-hand and guns, but he was being played with as she dodged each strike with ease. While this was happening, the cultists who survived were approaching. Takeshi began contacting whoever he could, Yuto grabbed a gun and handed it to me, and the logistics team was trying to do their jobs. This was absolutely hopeless, and that's when we heard Iguro scream. Even with the enhancements, he was sent flying backwards from a punch he never saw coming.
Iguro spat out blood, and we all thought that he was about to die. She was about to cut his head off, but that's when a hail of bullets shot out from the sky. We all looked up and saw it was a helicopter, and soon an army came. That's when we heard the boss's voice in our headsets," You okay, boys, backup has arrived." That's when an Uma Musume jumped out of the helicopter as the smoke cleared, and the enemy Uma Musume barely dodged the bullets as she couldn't hear them coming thanks to her noise-canceling headphones.
The headphones were broken, and the enemy Uma Musume yelled," Pop Cult, play our masterpiece." Soon, multiple cult members took out stereos and played idol pop music, and soon the Uma Musume's eyes glowed again as she attacked our ally Uma Musume. That's when they clashed blades, but our ally Uma was being pushed back into the defensive. That's when we heard the boss's voice say, "Yuto, turn on our song in the speakers, now!!" Yuto did so, trusting Mina 100%.
Soon our song Fighting Free screamed through the speakers, and soon our ally Uma's eyes began to glow, and the enemy Uma's started flickering. Soon, our ally began fighting back as the backup army and helicopters began slaughtering the cult members. Still, both Umas clashed at such high speeds, played in a mix of pop and rock. That's when the snipers shot down the pop stereo, and soon, the enemy Uma's eyes became normal. That's when the same sniper shot the enemy Uma in the head, killing him immediately.
Soon, the rest of the cult were mercilessly killed. No one here cared about the lives of a bunch of asshole terrorists. We soon had a meeting as Mina explained the deal with the league's commissioner and what the hell we just saw out there. It now made so much sense why the Pop Cult wanted Pop music as the only genre in existence. She then told us," It seems the Commissioner didn't send any snipers, seeing as the soldiers and elite Uma Musume are enough." Now that's crazy; who would have shot those two shots killing the enemy Uma Musume?
3rd Person POV
Earlier
On top of a rooftop, there were 6 Uma Musume. One of them on the floor with a sniper rifle was GW. Another, controlling their own drone, is Rain, and watching their backs is Spice. Jo is near them, looking at a computer measuring wind speed and distance. While KiWi is jamming cameras with one of her devices to keep them undetected.
Finally, Rose is there talking on a radio, saying," Gray, mission accomplished, how are things at home?" On the other side of the call, Gray spoke, saying," Vic BlaD, Norn, and Mama are asleep. While Sweets is keeping watch on our bodyguards, who haven't noticed you're gone. Steel is watching over the sleep heads, and ImP and Lily are waiting on the streets with the getaway car. Pack up and get back here soon."
You see, folks, when they first left the base, Gray put an extra sniper rifle hidden from their security in the supply. Gray, Jo, and KiWi own the computers and devices. After arriving at the airport, Rain got the weapon and put it with their stuff before going down to the training grounds. As soon as Hachi and the others left to find the rest of the gang, Rain put the bag containing the gun into another bigger bag. Now, once the bag was moved into their new hotel room, they moved, expecting this to happen.
Gray already had a rental van, which KiWi put at a certain location before going to the nearby message parlor. They had Norn buy everything they needed to escape tonight, unknowingly, on her shopping trip. Soon, they gathered all the pieces and went into a building, where Jo and Rose used their parkour and tech to reach the roof. GW set up the gun, Spice provided the bullets, Rain carried everything there, and was the eyes in the sky. Once gathering data was over, Gray gave the order, and GW fired the shots.
First, at the stereo, weakening the enemy Uma Musume; second, killing the enemy gives our men the chance to fight back. They already knew Mina was grabbing reinforcements cause that's what the staff told them. They were here to eliminate any threats posed by Uma Musume. Gray also included a link to the communication system, so they could hear the whole conversation with Red Bloomberg using Suzu's earpiece, which she used to stay updated on events. They arrived as soon as Red sent reinforcements, and soon they accomplished their mission.
They soon got packed and started heading down the building. They got to the van and soon arrived at a building near their hotel. There, waiting, was an employee from the rental place to pick up the vehicle, and soon, once their stuff was unloaded, they handed the vehicle back to him. Soon they got back to the hotel room. It was already morning as they snuck in, and soon everyone was in place.
Still, they did not expect KiWi to trip and land directly on BlaD, who immediately woke up pissed. Everything soon went wild as they all ran to their rooms. BlaD was speechless, then looked at the open window in his room. Then, the open door, his teammates burst out of. BlaD then asked," What the fuck happened last night?"
Back to Tsukasa Takajima's POV
After the battle, we all split up to do our duties. The news was covering everything, spreading the news, and explaining how the league was involved. Now, everyone knows the league valued us, and now we are more untouchable. Also, they all know that we are not weak in any way and are happy to defend ourselves with violence and words. Now I was going to the new hotel to pick up the team for our flight out.
Iguro is being taken to the hospital for surgery, and Mana is going there to help with the wounded and the dead. Takeshi and Suzu are helping with the cleanup. Hana is talking to Ayana about hiring more people and how her duties have now been enhanced. Mina bought Ayana's agency, and Ayana is now in charge of dealing with job agencies and recruiting all employees. Juna is now prepping food that Mina ordered to thank and feed the staff and players.
Hachi is now prepping the private plane to finally depart Wellington, and Yuto is managing the team's supplies—Taki, who has just sent the information and data for Buenos Aires, has just gotten home. Taki will take a few days off before heading to São Paulo for the tournament after Buenos Aires. After yesterday's events, the lack of security, as a lot of them are no longer able to serve, is a problem. Now we have to take the team back to Japan and train there until it is nearly time to go to Buenos Aires.
Mina is now dealing with the media and doing it so professionally that it's very impressive. Now I'm headed to the hotel to get the team ready cause we leave this country soon. I was driven there by one of our drivers. It seems all the employees and staff respect me a bit more after I made sure they stayed alive after yesterday. Now I'm arriving at the hotel and have gotten myself up the floors to the room.
There I arrived to see most of them already up. I see that some got some sleep, while the rest barely did. They must have been so scared and worried about us. That's so sweet of them. Now I had to get ready for the ride home.
I then yelled out loud," Everyone, I'm here. I need everyone to gather." They did. First to arrive were BlaD and Norn. Then came Mama Blues, carrying Vic princess-style to make sure Vic rested her legs. Next, the tired ones came: KiWi, Rain, Rose, Sweets, ImP, Lily, GW, Jo, Spice, Gray, and finally her. I was happy to see Steel again. She came and hugged me so hard that I almost passed out.
I squealed out," Steel l..let go." She responded," No, you made me worried, staying in a battlefield like that. You think I wasn't watching the news all night, wondering if you'd come back alive or not?" I replied," I..I'm so~rry.. I can't breathe." She then let go, saying," Next time you do something that stupid without me protecting you, I'll make sure you're handcuffed to me at all times." I took a breath, air how I missed you.
That's when GW asked me," I know Iguro was on the front lines; how is he?" I told her," he and the rest of the security that we're in combat with are now at the hospital. The rest are dead and being sent back to their families." I then told them what's happening with the other heads and told them," We're going back to Japan for training and will get to Buenos Aires a few days ahead of the tournament." Gray responded," I see, so this move is to set up our new security team, isn't it?"
I honestly told them," Yeah, we're not sending you to a country with that much crime and with the most dangerous terrorist group in the world hunting you down without proper security. Now, get ready; we leave in 3 hours." Soon they took showers and got dressed, and soon we got on a random-looking van to the airport. We got through security because we weren't recognized at all, thanks to wearing masks during the tournament. Still, I hear everyone talking about the Bloody Broncos everywhere now.
We got on the private jet in an emptier part of the airport. We sat down, and Steel hugged my arm by the chair beside me. This was nice, then she told me," I love you, and I'm glad you're okay." I smiled, saying," I love you too, and I also have to tell you, you still have to do your Open races in both Japan and Brazil." She then sighed, telling me," Yeah, you're the ass that I love."
