When Eros heard what he had to say about Elijah Montenegro, Gilbert's face suddenly darkened. He had already said that the man had ulterior motives, but obviously Cherry couldn't see it. She always said that the man was such a kind person. She almost worshipped him like a saint.
"Watch out for that man," Gilbert ordered his friend in a deep voice.
Surprise appeared on Eros' handsome face. "And why would I do that? If you ask me, the two are a good match," Eros said frankly to the person in front of him.
Gilbert's face darkened even more upon hearing that and then he glared at his friend. "Your mouth is too slimy, why don't you drink?" Gilbert said in a scary voice.
Eros was speechless when he heard that and pressed his lips tightly together. But because he had offended Gilbert, he had no choice but to obey what he said. He said nothing more and just drank until the alcohol had completely consumed his system.
