No one wasted a second rescuing every single person from the nearly collapsed safe room. With medics already in the area, they were quickly given medical attention before being transported to a larger facility in the territory.
Along with them were Lola, Penny, Kiara, and the others, who were utterly worried about the people they had rescued.
Penny paced back and forth in the hallway outside the emergency surgery rooms. She bit her thumb nervously; her mind was racing. From what she knew, all of them needed emergency attention because every single one had been severely injured.
"Gosh," she breathed out, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Even now, they're stressing me out."
She was relieved that her family was safe. However, she still couldn't fully relax. She had seen their condition, and it was not good.
Kiara sat on the waiting bench, running her hands down her face. When she looked up at Penny, her brows knitted together.
