Chapter 21 - The Descent of the Seraph

SYSTEM ALERT!DIVINE PRESENCE DETECTED!SERAPH LV 1 — DESCENDING FROM HEAVEN.

The heavens cracked open.A blinding light split the sky apart as a figure slowly descended — six radiant wings unfurled in perfect symmetry, a fractured halo hovering above its head, and eyes burning with divine fire.

Dominic lifted his gaze, the golden shimmer of his irises reflecting the celestial glow. His expression hardened.

"So it begins," he muttered.

Another descent. Another test from above. Every time light falls on this cursed land, something changes — and never for the better.

The queen and the elven elders rushed outside, shielding their eyes from the searing light. Gasps filled the air.

Immediately, Yggdrasiel, the World Tree, pulsed with emerald radiance. A shimmering human-shaped spirit rose from its core and drifted upward.

"Queen Mother is awake!" the elven queen cried."She's finally back!"

Dominic remained still, watching the descent. As the Seraph neared the ground, a green light from Yggdrasiel met the heavenly brilliance mid-air.

The spirit knelt first.

"Messenger of the Almighty," she said with reverence. "What brings you to our sacred home?"

The Seraph's voice rolled like thunder, yet gentle.

"I come not for the elves," it replied, "but for the young one among you."

Dominic's jaw tightened.

"I knew it," he whispered.

He dropped to one knee.

"Messenger of the Most High, I greet you."

The elves followed, bowing in awe.

But the Seraph raised a hand.

"Rise. Your kneels are not meant for me — but for our Father."

Then its gaze turned solely to Dominic.

"Sir Dominic. I bring a message meant for your ears alone."

A hush fell. The divine light narrowed, forming a barrier of silence around them.

"The Outer Gods are already moving," the Seraph began. "Earth is now under the management of higher angels. The Awakened control the monstrous forces, and your family… they are safe, guiding the order of your world."

Dominic's eyes flickered.

"Then Earth—"

"Do not ask," the Seraph interrupted gently. "The question you're about to speak will disrupt the balance of this realm. You intended to ask the queen about the Eastern Continent, did you not?"

Dominic exhaled.

"Yeah. That one."

Eastern Continent … the rumors weren't lies after all. Another world within this one. And if the Murim legends are true, that place isn't ruled by kings or gods — but by will itself.

"Both continents have been separated for ages," the Seraph explained. "Neither knows the other still exists. Yet today, the veil weakens. And as you already know… the Murim World is not something the Western Realms can endure. Should war erupt, this world would crumble within days."

Dominic's gaze darkened.

"So what's the message?"

"Finish your task in this kingdom," said the Seraph, its wings folding inward. "Then head east. A storm brews beyond the sea. Someone seeks to cross over — under the guise of conquest — but it is the work of the Fallen."

Dominic smirked faintly.

"Let me guess. One of their plans again?"

"Indeed," the Seraph replied gravely.

The Fallen never rest. If they're stirring the Murim side, then even angels fear what's coming. Good. I've been waiting for a real challenge.

A sigh escaped Dominic's lips.

"Alright. I've only got a few matters left here. I'll head there soon."

"I know you will," the Seraph said. "Remember — everything you need is within the System. With it, you lack nothing. You have already ascended to High Divinity. Begin gathering faith to awaken your Faith Resonance… for you are already a god."

Faith Resonance …So that's the next step. The path of gods isn't strength alone — it's belief. Every soul that speaks my name feeds the divinity I carry. If that's the case… then I'll build faith strong enough to shake heaven itself.

The Seraph's radiance dimmed, its voice fading like a hymn swallowed by the wind.

Yggdrasiel's spirit drifted toward Dominic.

"Thank you… for freeing my son."

Dominic gave a calm nod.

"It was my pleasure. But if you'll excuse me, I have matters to attend to."

"But the celebration—" said the elven queen, her tone laced with concern.

"Another time," Dominic interrupted. "I've got something important to handle."

He turned to the air.

"Open Window."

The System flared.

NEW SKILL ACQUIRED — [Summoning Magic Lv. 1].The panel unfolded, glowing with golden runes.

"It allows me to summon anything I've once owned or known…" he murmured.

"Can I summon my family here?" he asked aloud.

[System Response] — Not yet. Increase Summoning Magic to max level to summon family or city structures across worlds.]

Dominic smiled faintly.

"Got it. Summon Gold Chariot."

Space warped with a loud crack. The golden carriage — the one once parked beside the Mendez Manor — materialized beside him, gleaming like molten sunlight.

The elves gasped.

"W-what was that?"

"Nothing worth thinking about," Dominic replied coolly.

He stepped inside, the chariot gliding forward as the forest winds parted before him.

Step by step, the pieces fall in place. Murim, the Fallen, the Faith Resonance … this world is about to witness what happens when a man walks the path meant for gods.

Meanwhile, at the Avelion Palace, chaos stirred.

"Your Majesty," a knight reported, panting. "We cannot trespass into the forest. Lord Dominic's domain is sealed with an unknown barrier. No magic, no artifact can break it."

The king's jaw clenched.

"What in the hell is that boy?" He slammed his armrest. "Summon the other two heroes."

Moments later, Jake and Annabel entered the throne hall.

"Your fellow Earthling," the king growled, "is becoming a problem I can no longer ignore. I want you two to start planning how to bring me his head."

Before either could speak, a distant horn blared outside the palace. The king strode to the balcony — his robes whipping in the wind.

And there, beyond the gates, stood Dominic, his golden chariot gleaming under the sun.

Their eyes met.The king froze.Dominic smirked.

The silence carried the weight of kingdoms.
