Alessia nodded without much thought and the doctor proceeded to check all of her vitals under Dervan's watch.
He tapped hard on the cast of her arm and leg. "Does it hurt?"
Alessia shook her head, then he nodded and prepared to cut off the casts with a machine.
When he was done, he hung his stethoscope over the back of his neck. "She is basically stable." He told Dervan. "I would suggest she remain in the hospital for a few more days for monitoring but I understand you're in a hurry. I will send a doctor to your apartment, Mr. Salviati. He will come for regular checkups for the entirety of next week."
Dervan grunted. "Very well."
Dr. Henry swallowed the urge to sigh in relief. 'Thank God, he didn't refuse that, at least.'
"I'll be going now, I have to get back to work." He said as he stood up and dusted off his coat. "You're now free to take her home with you."
Dervan nodded. "Thank you."
