The elites after floor 60 became fewer, but they all became stronger. Although not as powerful as the captains, their numbers were greater. Ash only needed one Pokémon at first, but later he had to use two to maintain a one-sided slaughter.
"Huff..." This journey wasn't as easy as before. Although it wasn't a wave tactic, some of the elites inside already had strength comparable to captains, making it a bit more difficult to fight. However, Ash still had two Legendary Pokémon trump cards he hadn't used yet.
"70..." Ash reached out and pushed open the door to the 70th floor. As soon as he opened it, he saw the swimming pool inside. A blue-haired man was swimming, while a long-haired red woman, wearing a revealing bikini and sunglasses, was leisurely sipping juice on a lounge chair... "Holy crap..." Ash was completely annoyed to see these two captain-level guys so relaxed. He had walked from the first floor to the 70th, fighting on every floor; although he wasn't seriously injured, he was mentally exhausted. Seeing these two so leisurely swimming and drinking juice was simply unbearable.
"Yo, young man, want to swim with us?" The woman on the chair asked Ash as she saw him arrive, holding up her juice.
Ash glanced at the woman; she was quite pretty, with long, straight red hair reaching her waist, deep red lipstick, and sunglasses. Her breasts, while not a D cup, were still a C cup, quite well looking. Most notably, she was dressed in a revealing bikini, her fair skin completely exposed for all to see.
"No need, I'm here to see your boss. If you don't stop me, I'm going up." Ash didn't have time for idle chatter. "If you want to rest, then rest. I'm going up."
"Hey, hey, hey... these young people these days are really in a hurry." The blue-haired man who had been swimming nearby had also reached the shore, giving Ash a refreshing smile.
"Since you're in such a rush, we'll play with you for a bit, what do you say, James?" The red-haired woman took out a Poké Ball from the side.
"Of course, no problem, Jessie. We should teach this young men a lesson, tell them not to be so hasty; it's bad for their health." James also took a Poké Ball from his backpack.
"Go, Weavile!"
"Go, Drapion!" The two threw out their Pokémon.
"Weavile and Drapion, huh?" Ash looked at these two Pokémon, which were completely unfamiliar to the Kanto region, with some wariness, as they both appeared to be high-level.
"Go, Snorlax, Charmeleon!" This time, Ash threw out two Pokémon, unlike before when he only used one.
"Weavile, use Ice Beam on Snorlax!"
"Drapion, use Sludge Bomb on Charmeleon!"
Ash reacted instantly. "Snorlax, intercept with Hyper Beam! Charmeleon, counter with Flamethrower!"
The dazzling orange beam of Hyper Beam slammed into the jet of freezing energy from Weavile, while Charmeleon's roaring Flamethrower met Drapion's glob of toxic purple sludge head-on. The air shook with a series of explosive BOOM-BOOM! as the powerful attacks collided, filling the battlefield with steam and smoke.
This time, Jessie and James weren't as weak as they seemed in the anime. Their strength far surpassed that of the previous team leaders he had encountered, and they weren't much weaker than Ash's previous opponent. However, Ash was a completely different person; he was much stronger than before.
Weavile was a dark and Ice-type, so Fire-type attacks were twice as effective. Ash used a strategy of defeating them one by one. He had Snorlax protect Charmeleon while attacking Weavile. Snorlax took over ten hits from Drapion and Weavile for Charmeleon before Charmeleon finally managed to defeat Weavile with a single Flamethrower. Finally, Ash used Snorlax and Charmeleon to focus their attack on the remaining Drapion, sacrificing Snorlax to defeat two Pokémon.
"Oh dear, James, it seems we've lost." Jessie, seeing her Pokémon defeated by Ash, didn't show much surprise, but rather said to James in a half-joking tone.
"Yeah, Jessie, looks like we'll have to let that kid go, since we lost." James recalled his Pokémon and jumped back into the water for a swim.
"Go on, kid, our boss is waiting for you on the top floor." Jessie said to Ash with a smile.
"Okay." Ash felt a bit more favorably towards the two of them, seeing that they were willing to accept their loss and let him go so easily. He returned the smile and headed to the next floor.
"Jessie, is it okay if we just let him go like this?" James asked Jessie, leaning against the poolside.
"Well, it's fine, it's fine. We're on vacation now, so whatever happens at headquarters is fine. We just need to mind our own business." Jessie lay back in her chair and started drinking her juice.
"That's true." James plunged back into the water... The relentless fighting had numbed Ash's senses. In the end, Ash didn't even need Pokémon; he simply used his brute force to knock out the Team Rocket members one by one, then went upstairs.
Floor 80, Ash pushed open the door to the 80th floor. The room was dark, with many computer game consoles all turned on, emitting white light. Seeing so many game consoles and computers in one large room, all turned on, Ash felt like he had entered an arcade.
"Seriously, why did you take so long? I already finished a round." A girl's voice sounded as Ash was lost in thought. He snapped back to reality and saw a girl dressed all in black sitting in front of the game console, speaking to him as he entered.
Ash glanced at the girl. "Oh, it's you." Ash recognized the girl.
"So you still remember me? That's rare." The girl stood up from her chair, hands on her hips, looking at Ash.
"Where's your sister, White?" Ash asked, cracking his neck. "Why should I tell you where my sister is? Today I'm going to get my revenge for what happened last time."
This girl is White's younger sister, Black.
"Fine, I'm not interested in you. Tell me where your sister is."
Ash had absolutely no interest in his defeated opponent, but if it came to sleeping with her, he'd be much more interested.
"If you want to know where your sister is, then wait until you defeat me. Go, my Pokémon!" Black threw out two Poké Balls.
Two ghostly Pokémon were released by Black.
Ash recognized these two Pokémon; they were both Gengar. Physical attack teams were useless against them. Ash searched through his backpack.
"Go, Venusaur, Zapdos."
Ash threw out the two Pokémon.
"Gengar uses Shadow Ball!"
"Venusaur uses a Frenzy Plant."
"Zapdos uses Thunderbolt." The two Gengar were indeed strong, but against Ash's Pokémon Venusaur and the already Legendary Zapdos, they were somewhat powerless. Ash quickly defeated both Gengar.
"Now you can tell me where your sister is." Ash recalled his Pokémon and said to Black with a smile.
"Damn it, I lost again." Black was somewhat unwilling.
"Where is your sister? Tell me!"
Ash shouted at Black.
"What are you shouting for! If you want to find my sister, go upstairs!" Black said angrily as she sat down to keep playing her game, ignoring Ash.
Hearing this, Ash immediately went towards the next staircase.
There were still many elite Pokémon in the middle, but Ash knocked them out by himself.
Floor 90!
The 90th floor is the last checkpoint before the top, meaning the person inside is the strongest of all the leaders.
Ash reached out and pushed open the door.
A ray of sunlight shone through the crack in the door. Ash pushed it wide open, and a vibrant array of blooming flowers greeted his eyes, as if he had stepped into the outdoors. Ash looked up and saw a girl in white sitting on a pale elmwood chair, reading a book. A Persian cat slept peacefully on her lap. Two bookshelves stood beside her, both filled with books.
"You've come." The girl seemed to hear the door open, but didn't look at him, continuing to read. The Persian on her lap opened one eye, then closed it again.
"I need to go over." Ash entered the room and stood among the flowers, looking at White.
"What for?" White asked.
"To find Giovanni," Ash replied.
"What for?"
"To defeat him."
"And then?"
"To take over Team Rocket."
"Oh?" Hearing this, White closed her book and looked at Ash. Ash could see the coldness in her eyes; even an ice queen couldn't be more icy.
"You want to take Team Rocket from Giovanni?" White's cold eyes stared at Ash. Ash, unfazed, took a step forward and smiled.
"Of course."
"Quite the brag." White remained mostly expressionless.
"Your strength is equally impressive."
"Looks like you've improved a lot." White withdrew her gaze and continued flipping through her book.
"Want to try?" Ash asked with a smile.
White patted Persian, who obediently jumped off her lap and looked up at Ash with a proud and disdainful gaze. Ash ignored it and took a Pokémon out of his bag.
"I've wanted to battle you for a long time! Go, Venusaur!"
Ash threw out his Pokémon. He had never forgotten his first defeat, and this time he was going to get his revenge.
