"Teacher… what's happening to me?"
A weak, childish voice echoed through the dim, crumbling room.
Rubble constantly fell from the ceiling, and even the floor beneath their feet was fractured, seemingly ready to collapse at any moment.
If not for the reinforcement provided by magecraft, this chamber would have already been obliterated by the aftershock of that terrifying beam of magical energy.
"Teacher… am I… going to die?"
The voice belonged to a boy with orange hair—Roche Frain Yggdmillennia, Master of Avicebron.
Roche gazed weakly at Caster, who held his hand tightly, and spoke in a fading voice.
As merely a Caster-class Servant, Avicebron could only desperately command his golems to pull Roche clear at the moment the devastating light cannon struck.
But unfortunately, no golem could outpace a beam of magical energy. Just as the golem was about to pull Roche free, the blast engulfed the boy's lower half entirely.
Now, Roche lay feebly in Avicebron's embrace, blood pouring like a fountain from his ruined torso.
It was only Avicebron's magecraft suppressing Roche's senses that spared him from unbearable agony.
"Teacher… Teacher! Teacher…"
The orange-haired boy clutched at Caster's hand with fading strength, calling out repeatedly. His voice grew gradually calmer, as if recalling something important. He turned his eyes toward Caster's mask, speaking slowly and deliberately.
"Teacher… please let me help complete your final golem."
"Master—!"
Avicebron held tightly onto Roche's remaining half, his shaking voice betraying the turmoil within him.
"Because… because it's your dream, isn't it? At the very end… I want to see your greatest creation… I want to help fulfill your wish."
Roche felt his eyelids becoming increasingly heavy. He knew very clearly that he had little time left.
Having half his body annihilated by that devastating beam, slammed violently into a wall—any normal magus would have died instantly.
Only Caster's magecraft had forcibly prolonged his life, enabling him to speak these final words.
"By my [Command Spell], Teacher—fulfill your wish!"
"By my [Command Spell], Teacher—fulfill your wish!"
"By my [Command Spell], Teacher—fulfill your wish!"
At the moment Roche's words fell silent, the room itself sank into profound quiet.
The three [Command Spells] flashed brilliantly, melting into Avicebron's body.
"Caster of Black—"
At this very moment, a gentle voice appeared from the entrance of the collapsing room.
BOOM—!
Without a moment's hesitation, a gigantic golem swung its massive fist toward the voice, shattering the entire chamber into rubble.
Avicebron fell through the air, swiftly caught by another golem. He looked down at Roche, whose breathing grew steadily weaker.
The golem moved its massive form without pause toward the last remaining open space within Yggdmillennia Castle.
"Master, you will become the core of the [Primordial Man]."
"You will also become the first witness to my greatest creation—and forever my proudest student!"
As his words concluded, the entire Yggdmillennia Castle began to tremble violently.
It wasn't a horrifying entity coming into existence, nor a quake signaling dread.
Rather, it was the land itself expressing joy for the birth about to occur, offering its heartfelt blessings.
Just as Gaia stirred dust into the air not from overwhelming strength, but from the earth's response of delight to her footsteps.
A giant slowly emerged from the castle, kneeling upon one knee.
Avicebron raised Roche's body gently with both hands and, assisted by his golems, carefully embedded him into the giant's chest.
"Born of Earth (Mother), inhaling the Breeze (Wisdom), filled with Waters (Life), grasping once more the Flame (Weapon)—Disease (Demon) shall be cast away."
"Cruelty is to shatter one's own skull, righteousness guides one's blood toward tranquility."
The ground trembled once more as Avicebron stood before the stone giant, solemnly chanting the incantation.
"With a body towering as the sacred mountain, firm as stone, a form that protects all, rules all, commands all—"
Under the incantation's power, the colossal figure seemed to come alive, slowly rising to its feet.
"You are clay yet not merely clay. You are human yet not merely human. You stand within Paradise, ruling Paradise. You are our dream, our hope, our love."
In this instant, the golem destined to rewrite the world was born.
"Embracing the name of the Holy Spirit, you are the Primordial Human—[Adam]!"
As the incantation concluded—
Shnk—!
A spurt of blood. A Black Key pierced precisely through Avicebron's chest.
"To destroy all those golems single-handedly… you're no ordinary Master."
Seemingly unconcerned with the wound in his chest, Avicebron turned slowly to face Shirou Kotomine behind him.
At Avicebron's back, not a single intact golem remained.
Within just the short span of time taken by his chant—mere seconds due to his B+ rank [High-Speed Incantation]—dozens of golems, including those sent to attack Shirou Kotomine, had been completely annihilated.
To defeat multiple constructs capable of exchanging blows with Servants in mere moments—Avicebron knew something was terribly amiss.
Yet none of that mattered now.
Behind Shirou Kotomine, the enormous fifteen-meter golem began to stir.
Its form resembled an ordinary golem, composed entirely of rock, soil, and trees, unimaginably heavy and imposing. With its immense stature, it appeared more like an ancient fortress made flesh, exuding overwhelming grandeur.
