Chapter 171 - 169 This is your end

At the entrance of the palace, Fang Leng rode in like a silent storm.

The journey that had taken others days had cost him only a few hours. As an ancient royal vampire___ one who had lived centuries, feeding on human blood___ speed and strength flowed through his veins like instinct. His presence alone bent the air around him.

"Fang Leng___" Tian Yu whispered, vemon dripping in his voice. He clenched his fist and his eyes glowed dark red. The memories of the terrible things his uncle had done to him in the past flashed through his mind.

Leng Yue stared at Tian Yu, cautiously.

"Tian Yu....." He called out, trying to remind him not to lose control. Tian Yu sigh deeply, and slowly released his gripped fist.

"Watch after Yuyan." Tian Yu said to Leng Yue. "I have some discussion with my uncle." He added, turning to Fang Leng's location. With that, he leaped into the air and he was gone with the blink of an eyes.

"Tian...." Leng Yue's words died in his lips when he saw Tian Yu was no longer listening to anyone.

"I was wondering why he wasn't part of the war. Turns out he was going to make things worse." Rong Yuan said, a hint of frustration in his voice.

Yunhai soldiers barely had time to turn before Fang Leng descended upon them without hesitation. His blade flashed through them and bodies fell one by one. He moved faster than the eye could follow, striking, vanishing and reappearing. Those who tried to flee were dragged back and crushed. In moments, the path behind him was painted red. And of course, his fangs sang through some of the soldiers, making him more powerful.

Ji Woo who has finished casting the doom spell noticed Fang Leng presence from a far__ and smiled.

"History will really repeat itself," she said softly, delight flickering in her eyes.

Fang Leng slammed a soldier against the wall, bones shattering on impact. The man slid lifelessly to the ground.

Then he stare at Tian Yu, who was already standing before him. For a heartbeat, the world seemed to still.

"It's so nice to see you again, nephew." Fang Leng said, his voice deep as ever.

Tian Yu remained silent, his dark red eyes staring straight at Fang Leng with hatred.

"Wait, I think this scene seems familiar. I remember destroying everything you loved years ago." Fang Leng said and a dark chuckle escaped his lips.

"You and your dark witch will die here today." Tian Yu said calmly.

Fang Leng only laughed, like Tian Yu's words were funny to him.

"I think you said something like that before I killed you before. How stupid can you be? Do you think you're more powerful than I am. I drink human blood everyday and you know very well what it does to vampires. While you stay amongst those weak human, caring for them and playing the sweet vampire prince." Fang Leng said, mock dripping in his voice.

"There's such great differences between us. I am surrounded by people who loves and support me. If I die here, people would cry. But You___ the people around you are unable to even breath when they're with you. You think you're better than me. No matter the amount of power you get, you'll never be satisfied. And that would be your doom." Tian Yu calmly said.

This made Fang Leng angry. He felt annoyed that the person he had destroyed before was standing before him again and challenging him.

"Since you're so eager to die, I would happily Grant your wish." Fang Leng said and started walking forward towards Tian Yu. Tian Yu remained calm, calculating his next move.

Suddenly, Fang Leng felt a presence in his back. His fast hearing could hear someone heading towards him. Before he turned, it was already too late. With a roar, Wu Zhen struck Fang Leng hard across the back. Blood burst from Fang Leng's mouth as he staggered forward. Before Wu Zhen could strike again, Fang Leng's wounds knit themselves closed, flesh sealing as if time itself had reversed.

With a single swing of his arm, Fang Leng sent Wu Zhen flying. His body smashed into the wall, stone cracking on impact as he collapsed.

Fang Leng smiled, stepping forward.

"Wow. Your friend's got great strength.... But he's still not match." He said with a smirk.

Rage burned through Tian Yu's veins.

Before he could move, Leng Yue rushed forward, driving his blade straight into Fang Leng's heart.

Fang Leng laughed, as the blade remained embedded for a second__ then his heart regenerated around it, flesh pulsing back to life.

With a flick of his hand, Leng Yue was hurled across the courtyard, slamming into the wall with brutal force.

Tian Yu roared and charged. As their steel collided, a huge chaos of wind surrounded them. The clash of their blades sent shockwaves through the ground, sparks flying as uncle and nephew locked into deadly combat.

Meanwhile Yuyan was faltering. She was already worked out___ weak and tired. She has several injuries in her body and her legs were failing her. Her breath came shallow, pain tearing through her body as her pregnancy weakened her strength. Carrying a vampire child wasn't easy at the first place. Every wound she inflicted on Ji Woo healed instantly, mocking her efforts.

"I am immortal, fool," Ji Woo said amusingly. "No one can kill me."

Sensing her weakness, Ji Woo struck.

The blow sent Yuyan crashing to her knees. Blood poured from her mouth, staining the stone beneath her.

Then Ji Woo stepped closer, her smirk sharp with cruelty.

"Look at you," she said softly. "Pathetic."

Yuyan knelt there, trembling.

Tears streamed down her face, mixing with blood, blurring her vision. Her hands shook as she pressed one protectively against her stomach. Pain, fear, and desperation tore at her chest.

"You are no match for me, little princess. This is your end" Ji Woo said, lifting her sword.

"YUYAN!" Leng Yue screamed, weakly standing up and running toward her.

Yuyan remaining kneeling "My baby…" she whispered, clutching her stomach as her vision darkened.

Ji Woo raised her blade to finish her. Yuyan closed her eyes, already giving up on herself.

"I'm sorry, Tian Yu." She whispered, helplessly.
