Elijah was both helpless and utterly embarrassed by his lover's antics.
The young master not only deliberately threw him in the bathtub, but he also didn't let him come out.
"The water is warm and nice, so just take a relaxing bath."
Halfway through the door, Alexei turned around to give Elijah a warning glance. "Don't come out until I come back with your clothes."

And thus, the exorcist had to wait for a long half hour. The water went from hot to warm, and just as Elijah wrapped the bathrobe around him, the door opened with a loud thud.
For the umpteenth time, he wondered how long the door's hinges could stay alive.

Elijah's rhetorical question promptly shut the redhead up.
Even an idiot could tell that he was intentionally wasting time, only coming inside when he heard Elijah getting up.
