"I wish I had that power back then, but unfortunately I didn't," Senzo explained. "Do you really think I would've hidden any of my cards back then?"
"That makes sense. I'm sorry..." Yo muttered, taking a step back.
He had been too emotional; Senzo was like a brother to him now. Why would he want them to suffer?
"Don't worry, Yo, let's just focus on the here and now."
"That's right, and now it's time for you to leave, Senzo." Magi jumped in, patting Yo on the back.
Senzo gave one last nod and left the cube.
"Haaah, I'll have to make sure to properly use my abilities from now on so nothing like that ever happens again," Senzo muttered to himself while walking through the dilapidated apartment building.
After taking one last look at Magi and the others, he turned his head back around and decisively walked forward; there was no use in regretting what had happened, and the only thing he could do now was work toward a better future.
Now I have some time, so why don't I check out the status system properly? I remember it said I could check ability details.
Just like that, Senzo was now fully focused on properly exploring this dungeon and learning everything he could about his new status system.

"Hooh? That's rather impressive," he said, looking at all the info displayed in front of him.
Even though the status screen couldn't identify some things, it knew quite a lot about it.
"Why would it not know that, though? Is it because it's an innate ability?"
Well, there wasn't much use in worrying about it for now, because he himself knew everything about his newly gained abilities after going through all that suffering to gain them; it was only natural, of course.
If I didn't know everything after going through all that...
Senzo shook his head a couple of times; just thinking about it sent shivers down his spine.
"Well, now that I have checked that out, it's time to properly explore this thing."
Slapping his cheeks, Senzo adjusted his mindset to one where he could face danger at any moment; he couldn't afford to be careless in a situation like this.
And even if it was a simple dungeon clearing, doing it faster rather than slower was much better; after all, they had no food or water with them currently.
"Let's do this!"
After he said that, two large greatswords appeared in both of his hands.
"Nice, Weapon Genesis is pretty dope."
And with mass displacement he completely removed the weight of both greatswords; now he was ready for combat.
He carefully made his way through the halls that felt way too empty; with both swords in hand, Senzo decided not to run through it. Instead, he would walk at a normal pace to try and find an exit or anything else that could signal he was going in the right direction.
While he was carefully walking through the hallways, it felt like he was constantly being watched. "Tch!"
It was a terrible feeling, and what was even worse was the scenery: holes in the floor, and the walls looked like they would crumble because of the slightest touch. It was fuel for nightmares.
The wooden floor he was walking on creaked with every step, and Senzo kept looking back; it felt like something was close by, but he wasn't certain.
"Haaah, this sucks," he mumbled, rolling his eyes when he looked back for the 5th time in less than a minute.
"Where are the damn monsters? All I'm seeing is this hallway that's way too damn long..."
At first he was excited to go and explore his first dungeon, but now after minutes of just aimlessly walking around, the mystique had long worn off, and it was more like a chore you didn't want to do.
"Stay calm and alert," he reminded himself; last time he took a passive approach, things went horribly wrong.
"Oh?"
After walking for what felt like an eternity, he finally saw the end of this damn hallway, and a smile involuntarily appeared on his face.
"Finally!"
He carefully grasped both swords and quickly made his way to the end of the hallway, but what he saw once he stepped out of the hallway left him shivering.
It was a room filled with gigantic rats and spiders, but instead of looking like normal enlarged animals, they had all kinds of grotesque features; the rats looked like they were radioactive with bright yellow eyes that gave light.
And from the giant spiders' mouths, a bright pink fluid leaked out that slowly melted the floor.
"Ew..."
Senzo was appalled as he quickly took a step back to recompose himself. Instead of fantastical creatures, he got those abominations?
"Fuck me..." he muttered, but there was nothing he could do. He had finally come across a room full of monsters, so it was safe to assume he was going the correct way, right?
Better to keep them at a distance. No idea what might happen if those disgusting creatures bit him. Infection? Instant death?
"Better safe than sorry."
