"Dad! Are you okay?" Inside the spaceship, Tang Wulin, who had just been exchanged, looked at his son Xuanyu with mixed emotions as the boy gazed at him worriedly.
He hadn't been part of the negotiation table—instead, he had been treated like a commodity, exchanged only after both sides reached an agreement.
"Your Majesty, the Dragon Emperor..." Wang Tianyu, the current master of the Sea God's Pavilion, stepped forward and bowed respectfully.
"Was... was a planet really traded for my return?"
Wang Tianyu nodded. "Yes. No matter how much we negotiated, the other side refused to budge. After numerous setbacks, we had no choice but to agree."
"Which planet?" Tang Wulin asked. The Federation had jurisdiction over roughly seven planets.
"Elf Star—the planet where the soul beasts reside."
Tang Wulin fell silent for a moment. "What about Gu Yuena?"
"We also proposed exchanging additional resources for the return of your wife, but they refused. They claimed the Silver Dragon King had already been placed under house arrest and was not up for negotiation. There may be some scheme behind it."
"Dad, Mom, she..." Lan Xuanyu's voice trembled with worry as he stared at Tang Wulin, while Dong Qianqiu stood beside him, equally concerned.
"Don't worry. Your mother will be fine. I promise you."
Tang Wulin and Wang Tianyu soon left. A Federation conference was convened, and the former actively proposed participating in a plan targeting the other Douluo Federation. His anger was palpable—he was ready for war.
---
Federation Conference Room.
Tang Wulin strode in solemnly, his expression grave. The moment he entered, his eyes locked onto the virtual screen projecting the figure of the Dragon God, Di Tian. Behind him stood Ling Zichen of this world, along with the elders of the Sea God's Pavilion and other top-tier experts of the Federation.
"What is he planning?" Tang Wulin muttered in confusion.
"Your Majesty, the Dragon God claims he intends to retrieve the planet... We are equally puzzled as to how he plans to move Elf Star across the cosmos back to their Douluo Star," someone answered respectfully.
---
In the Vast Cosmos.
Di Tian cast a fleeting glance at the Federation battleships trailing far behind him, as well as the group of powerful experts accompanying him. To him, these beings were nothing more than ants—hardly worth his attention. Right now, he was merely reclaiming what was promised.
"Dragon God... Elf Star lies just ahead..."
Di Tian's gaze settled upon a lush green planet. Though it appeared entirely verdant from afar, it also contained vast bodies of water. This was the world where soul beasts, led by the Beast God Di Tian, had once migrated, alongside the elven race.
"The high-level soul beasts and elves have all been evacuated... Only remnants remain. You've done quite the thorough job of cleaning up."
The Dragon God Di Tian smirked disdainfully before releasing his divine power. His nine-colored draconic form began expanding rapidly. With a low shout, he declared:
"Dragon God Avatar!"
Hummm—
His draconic body swelled further, his already colossal ten-thousand-meter form stretching even higher—rivaling the stars, shining alongside the sun and moon. This technique... was a secret art unique to Douluo Plane. The Planet's Will had inscribed the laws of that individual, along with fragments of his techniques. Though Di Tian could not master the essence, he had gleaned enough enlightenment to create his own soul skills.
"This... this is impossible!"
In the depths of space, a gargantuan nine-colored dragon was seen carrying an entire planet through the void!
What kind of joke was this?! The Federation had been planning to attack Douluo Plane later, but now... everything they possessed seemed like mere toys before this being. The Thirty-Three Heavenly Wings battleships appeared as insignificant as ants, left only to stare blankly as the massive nine-colored dragon vanished into the distance. None dared to pursue.
"Is this... the power of the Dragon God?"

Forbidden Land – Valley of Ten Thousand Dragons
"Hey, ever since you heard the truth from the Dragon Queen, you've been sulking. If you want to go outside, I can accompany you for a walk." The Water Dragon King observed Nana's despondent state, unsure why such a drastic change had come over her.
"I... I want to meet the Dragon God Di Tian."
"Ah? At this time... the Lord should be retrieving Elf Star from your Douluo Federation. They traded it for Tang Wulin's return. The deal is already done."
At these words, a flicker of emotion passed through Nana's eyes before dimming once more. She didn't understand why the dragons of this world had merely confined her here. And now, after learning the full truth, she no longer felt any allegiance to the Federation either.
Where did she truly belong?
Nana thought of Xuanyu and Qianqiu—two adorable children.
Xuanyu had been born while she and Tang Wulin were in cryogenic sleep. She didn't even know how he had come into existence, much less how he had been raised by humans. Ten thousand years had passed. Had Tang Wulin's grandparents—the Planet's Will of her original Douluo—awoken yet?
Nana sighed as she looked at the Water Dragon King. "Isn't my life just one big joke? From a grand perspective, the soul beasts never stood a chance. All my efforts... in the end, they were nothing but a farce. I once believed I had done so much for the soul beasts, but... compared to this world's Gu Yuena, it seems like I accomplished nothing."
The Water Dragon King pondered for a moment before nodding. "Well... yeah, kinda. But the root cause wasn't you. There's no need for self-blame. Life as a dragon... is about acting when you must, stopping when you should, living when it's time to live, and dying when it's time to die. Follow your conscience in action and restraint. Do what you must, listen to your heart—that's all. It's not that complicated. All this lovey-dovey, life-and-death romance... listening to your story is exhausting."
She scratched her head. "I was even thinking about marrying if I ever met the right person, but after hearing your tale, I'm a little scared now."
"Who... taught you these things?" Nana asked.
"It's written in books. Sounded pretty enlightening, so I memorized it."
Nana glanced at the shelves of books lining the walls of the forbidden land before lowering her head in silence. After a pause, she asked, "The 'me' of this world... did she really try to kill the person she loved?"
"Yes. And it's only thanks to the Sea God Tang San's intervention that you're seeing our Federation at all. You have no idea—back then, that man's single move, 'Words as Law,' annihilated everything in an instant..."
"Hm?" The Water Dragon King, mid-gossip, suddenly received a transmission. It seemed the Emerald Dragon King had returned.
---
Elsewhere.
The Emerald Dragon King returned in defeat, his heart seething with suppressed fury. The peace negotiations with the Dragon Horse Galaxy had failed. The Heavenly Dragon Star's leader was a true genius—a peerless expert who had inherited relics of the dragon race. Despite lacking a godhood, his cultivation rivaled that of a first-level deity, surpassing even the Emerald Dragon King, a true dragon.
"Had it not been for a few techniques bestowed by the Lord, I might have truly lost to him." The Emerald Dragon King sighed, recalling the battle. The moment negotiations broke down, the Heavenly Dragon Star's leader had attacked without hesitation. The two had clashed fiercely in the cosmos before ultimately disengaging.
No casualties had occurred—likely because the other party feared the Dragon God's might and thus held back from delivering a fatal blow.
The Nine Great Dragon Kings were bound by the limitations of the Dragon God's bloodline. Their cultivation could never surpass his. Since Di Tian was a first-level deity, they could only reach the second level. Moreover, Douluo Star lacked the capacity to sustain multiple godhoods, leaving them unable to ascend further.
"Are we heading for war?" the Dark Dragon King asked.
"No. That leader isn't foolish. Until he probes the full extent of the Lord's strength, he won't recklessly provoke a conflict."
"But what if the Dragon Horse Galaxy and Douluo Federation form an alliance to attack us? Weren't they enemies long before we arrived? The Douluo Federation has been eyeing the Heavenly Dragon Star for conquest."
"When interests align, anything is possible."
