The robots moved with steady rhythm across the empty store floor, following Liam's instructions without pause.
Some hovered near the ceiling, scanning the beams and running blue lines across the edges. Others carried shelves, tables, tool sets and support frames.
The taller humanoid machines marked locations for equipment, storage racks and a counter. The smaller disc-shaped ones cleaned dust from the corners and polished the floor until it looked new.
Not a single movement was wasted. The machines worked like a single unit and everything they did looked purposeful.
