Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Gaining Skills and Magic

I couldn't help but drool slightly after reading the end of the description of the Subtle Shift Skill. The thought of a MILF Queen in her office giving a speech or something and her panties suddenly growing a tongue and licking her clit. I shuddered in delight at the thought, however before I can make that a reality I'll have to figure out where I am and what to do with my Stats.

"I'll place those attribute points somewhere later, right now it's time for some exploration," I murmured as I walked towards the mansion.

The front doors had been blown off their hinges and were lying on the stairs up to the foyer. I couldn't help but inspect them just for shits and giggles. I'm glad I did.

Entrance Doors to the Ancestral Mansion of the Phire Family: Rank-B

Material: Wyrmwood Core with Vipersteel Inlay

Information: These heavy, double doors were once a grand symbol of the Phire family's strength and reputation. Crafted from Wyrmwood, a rare and highly magical darkwood harvested from trees that only grow in cursed forests and are resistant to both natural decay and most elemental magics. The shimmering silver-blue metal that forms the trim and decoration is Vipersteel, a magically conductive alloy infused with venom from the extinct Iron-Fanged Serpent. When the doors are closed, the inlays form the image of a massive snake devouring its tail.

"Damn, well, I'll definitely be taking those, I'm sure they will be useful later." Unfortunately, like a lot of gamers, I had the slight flaw of collecting everything I find in games, even if they are useless.

I couldn't help but think of dismantling the entire mansion and keeping it in my inventory. Unfortunately, I had a limited inventory space, and I didn't have the cheat codes to give me unlimited storage space.

"Sigh.."

'Oh well, let's see what this mansion-sized loot box will give me.' I thought with a smirk appearing on my face. As soon as my foot stepped into the mansion, my vision was flooded with multiple notifications.

Congratulations, Ms. Ashborn, you are the first player to find the abandoned ancestral home of the Phire family, one of the 10 forgotten noble houses.

You have Leveled Up + 10 AP

Congratulations, you are the first player to find a forgotten noble house!

As the first player to find a forgotten noble house, you will be given a random S to SSS-Ranked talent, as well as 500 Platinum Coins and the deed to the Phire family manor in the Kingdom of Helria.

Congratulations! Player Scarlett Ashborn, you have gained the Deed to the Ancestral Home of the Phire Family and all surrounding areas. You now own one quarter of the A-Ranked Tiger Woods, a forest that contains many monsters ranging from A-F Rank, as well as rare herbs.

"Wow, only one step into the door and I'm already a homeowner, a crappy home, but a home nonetheless." A smirk on my face as I continue into the dimly lit mansion.

As I walking further into the entrance room my heels clicked against the dark marble floor that was covered by dead leves and twigs. To the left was a beautiful stairwell with only some light cracks in the stairs themselves, and a quick inspect confirmed that almost everything in this mansion was very very rare and probably expensive as shit.

Stairwell to the 2nd floor of the Phire Family Mansion. Information: (1) The stairs and most of the wood in this mansion were made of Jackal Wood, a B-ranked wood. Jackal trees are commonly found in active volcanic areas. They get their name from the Jackal Beastman that grow and sell this wood; the Jackal tribe is the only tribe that sells Jackal Wood. (2) Most of the wood was carved, polished, and placed by a Master or Grandmaster-rated construction crew. (3) The estimated cost of building this mansion exceeds 9,000,000 Platinum coins.

Note: The last time the stairs were maintained was 213 years ago.

"Damn..all that info from inspecting the stairs, well I'd better keep wandering around this mansion."

I decided to clear it floor by floor, walking around the 1st floor didn't give me much except noting that everything was built with expensive and rare materials, hell, the normal young master saying would have to be replaced with, having an A-ranked Quarts Wyvern bone spoon shaved up your ass, instead of a silver one. It seemed like the only things on the 1st floor were the dining room, servants' quarters, a ballroom, some bathrooms, and a few other rooms that I couldn't name.

While walking up to the 2nd floor, I decided to look at the rewards I got from finding this mansion. I completely forgot about it when I started to explore the mansion.

Would you like to receive 1 random S-Rank Phire Family Magic Skill as well as 1 S-SSS random Talent for finding a forgotten Noble house?

Yes/No

"Yes, obviously," I said while also clicking on the floating yes in front of me.

Congratulations! You have received the S-Ranked Magic Skill: Firestorm. Firestorm is a large-scale AOE skill typically used to annihilate armies or large monsters. It has an effective radius of 300 meters. At your current level, it is impossible to use, as the required mana cost for a single cast is 10,000 MP. However, because you now possess this Skill, your threat rating has increased from Medium to High. You may also alter the type of fire used by this Skill if you acquire Fire Seeds. Information: Fire Seeds change the type of fire magic a person can wield. There is no confirmed limit to the number of Fire Seeds one person may possess, though it is recommended that an individual cultivate no more than three at a time.

"...Damn."

I let out a slow breath as I stared at the notification. Honestly, I had been hoping it wouldn't be an attack spell. I truly didn't understand how people could switch from normal life to casually killing goblins, monsters, and other living creatures, especially when this world felt so real.

A forlorn expression crossed my face as I realized I had just received an S-Ranked Magic Skill that would probably never be used.

".....Oh well, System, what Talent did I get?"

Notice: Generating S-SSS Rank Talent

Talent Found: You have gained the SS-Ranked Talent: Kinetic Manipulation. Information: You possess innate authority over kinetic force, allowing you to absorb, store, redirect, and release motion-based energy at will. Limitations: Your kinetic storage is limited but increases as you level up, and going beyond it risks serious strain or an uncontrolled release. All absorption and release still requires direct physical contact, and taking in or outputting high levels of kinetic force can cause damage to your body if not carefully managed.

"...."

"....."

"Holy fuck, that's OP! If that is SS-ranked, I dread to think what an SSS-Ranked Talent is."

I had already reached the top of the stairs at this point and had been standing there for like 3 minutes in silence, going through all the scenarios I could use this talent for. The one that kept popping up was travel. I'm sure anyone that was interested in combat could think of other uses for it, and I had thought of those as well. But if I found a raging waterfall or, maybe…maybe if the game allows me to siphon off this planet's kinetic force, if it has any, then I will be able to travel at an ungodly amount of speed. And I can turn myself into a cannonball or something so my skin doesn't get ripped off by the windshear.

'I can't wait to try this out, but first I have to finish looking around this mansion.' Now, with a somewhat dejected look on my face, I thought that.

Looking around, I head to the left again, and like on the 1st floor, I mainly just found bedrooms with very expensive-looking furniture and accessories in them. However, in the last room, when I tried to open the door, it was locked, and no matter how much I tried to open it, it wouldn't open.

'Well, I may as well try my new race abilities here.' I thought with a smile as I also pictured all the degenerate things I would be doing with this ability later in the game.

With some concentration, I picture myself becoming a thin sheet of silver. Immediately, my body started to morph and compact in on itself, and my clothes were stored in my inventory. Within a second, the room became enormous, and a paper-thin sheet of shiny silver was lying on the ground in front of the door.

'Odd, this doesn't actually feel any different than when I was walking about on two legs, although I guess the system and I designed it that way, it wouldn't really be fun to play the game if I didn't feel comfortable in the body I created.'

After that thought passed through my skull, I thought of hundreds of tiny, leg-like things appearing on the bottom of the silver sheet, and they appeared. And just like with any movement when human, with a thought, I started to walk forward and slide right underneath the door that had been blocking me just seconds before.

Canceling the form was as easy as it was becoming it, and my humanoid form stood up while my clothes began to weave themselves back onto my voluptuous, beautiful body.

'Well, that was a good test run, and also gives me a great idea if I ever want to become a bank robber or something. Hell, maybe I could just transform into a Gold bar and then be taken into a vault, then once in the vault, put everything in my inventory, and then slip out of the vault as a sheet of paper or a sliver of wood or something. But, I can't forget, my main goal is to be worn by hopefully a beautiful princess or queen as a pair of panties or bra, ohh or maybe be a dildo. Who knows what those royals get up to?' A thoughtful and then very perverted grin appeared on my face as I thought that, while looking around the locked room.

It was a small room, well, small compared to the rooms I had already been in; maybe 20 by 30ish feet. However, compared to the rest of the mansion so far, this room was in pristine condition. It was an office, with a beautiful desk sitting at the end of the room, two large bookcases filled with pristine yet ancient-looking books on one side of the room, and on the other was another door, but it was cracked open, and there was a glistening glow coming from behind the door.
