The teacher got up to the white board and began speaking with a deep pitch. "First and foremost, my name is Daigo Ishimura."

He was quite tall, broad-shouldered, had black hair with faint gray streaks from aging, and carried a stern look.

"My aspect is Shock Absorption, and from this point forward until your last year here, I am your Class 1A Teacher." (A/N: No, I did not intend for it to align like this with MHA but it's the only one that sounds cool... lol)

He continued, "With that being said, today will be your first and last easy day, so spend it wisely. I'll briefly go over what the school expects from you, what I expect from you, and what you should expect from yourself."

Daigo turned, scribbling three words on the board in bold, firm strokes: Discipline. Growth. Resolve.

"These three," he spoke, tapping the marker against the board, "are what separate a capable Aspect user from a reckless one. The school expects discipline from you—you need to stay on top of your studies and training. I expect growth from you, because my job is to help you shape both yourself and your Aspect into something you can control and use for good."

"And for yourself," he continued, setting the marker down, "you should expect to have all three. Be disciplined enough to stay consistent. Be willing to grow, even when uncomfortable. And above all, have the resolve to keep going even when things get hard. Because I assure you, they will. You'll feel like quitting at times, and only those of you who push through to the end will be successful."

He looked around the room, letting his words settle for a moment. "Power without control is dangerous. Control without power is meaningless. What we do is here find the balance between the two. Understood?"

The class responded, "Yes, Teacher!"

"Good," he muttered. "Now, while I'm sure most of you are already aware, it is required that I go over a few things about our academy. Since our founding thirty-one years ago, this school has risen to Japan's leading hero academy and is now ranked among the top five worldwide. If my earlier words did not make it clear enough, understand this: the expectations here are high, and the pressure that comes with them is even higher."

He paced slowly in front of the board while reading a paper, presumably the orientation instructions. "Over the years, we have trained and produced some of the world's strongest heroes: Kaito Endo, currently ranked second; Hana Mizuno, ranked fourth; Yuto Hayakawa, ranked seventh; and many others within the top one hundred. Your future may depend on the limits of your Aspect, but here we will make sure you reach those limits and push past them."

Daigo turned back to the board and began writing a simple schedule for the day. "Now, let's go over what your first year will look like. This year will be the foundational year. We will cover everything important to the foundations of Aspects and what it means to be a hero."

He stepped to the side, letting the students read the outline: Academics, Training, Practical Application, and Assessment.

"Academics will focus on the theory behind each and every one of your Aspects and the idea of it as a whole. Through this, you will learn about your Aspects' limits, potential, and various strategies to maximize its effectiveness. You will study anatomy, physics, tactics, and hero ethics."

He paused to grab a sip of water. "Training will take up most of your day. You will learn to manipulate your Aspect under controlled conditions, build your stamina, and strengthen both your body and mind. Expect long hours, and expect failure. Each mistake is an opportunity to improve as long as you take it seriously. Furthermore, your recovery will personally be controlled by the school."

"Practical application is where you will test what you learn. Simulated rescues, combat drills, and teamwork exercises will push you to apply your skills in real scenarios."

He turned back around and circled assessment. "Assessments will happen bi-monthly, with the most important one at the end of each term. These will measure your growth, your understanding, and your control. Fortunately, your first year is not about ranking or competition."

Daigo folded his arms and scanned the room. "Your days will start early and end late. Mornings are academics and physical conditioning. Afternoons are training and practical exercises. Evenings are reserved for study and recovery."

He looked down once again at the papers, "On Saturdays, you will be required to bond as a class at any event of your choosing. However, failure to do so will result in class consequences. Free time will only be available on Sundays. Everything you do is here designed to make you stronger, smarter, and more capable. Though you have more lee-way in your first year than any other, it is also the hardest because it will push you beyond your limits."

He put down the papers on the desk, sighing. "Before we move on to actual training, you need to understand the rules and expectations of life here. Respect your teachers and your classmates. Follow instructions promptly. Neglect or disobedience will not be tolerated. Using your Aspects without permission, supervision, or with ill-intent will result in immediate suspension and possible expulsion. Any behaviors that slows yourself or your classmates down will be addressed immediately."

He continued, "Dorm life is part of your education. You will share common spaces, but each of you will have a private room with floors divided by gender. You are expected to manage your own schedules, take responsibility for your actions, and interact respectfully and peacefully with one another. Curfew is at 10:00pm (22:00). I will personally inspect the dorms, and anyone found violating curfew will be penalized under Rule 23.a, which mandates a mandatory review of conduct, restriction of privileges, and additional training sessions to reinforce discipline."

"Finally, understand the code of conduct," he said. "Integrity, teamwork, perseverance, self-control, and accountability are non-negotiable. Every action you take has consequences."

He let out a big sigh of relief, "Finally, we're finished with the paper."

A student raised their hand, "But sir, you have another two papers left."

He crumbled the papers into a ball and tossed it into the trashcan. "What papers? You don't need to know those anyway."

He paused for a brief moment, controlling his breath. "Now, in your dorm rooms, you have hero training uniforms to efficiently optimize your training. Go put it on, and in an hour, meet me outside at the training area. We will now begin the diagnostic assessment."
