Teacher Shim walked out of his house in the dead of the night, moving quickly down the empty path straight towards another house. His steps were uneven, almost frantic, and he kept muttering something under his breath. Once he reached the door, he lifted his hand and knocked hard, as if every second mattered.
"Teacher Shim! What are you doing here?" a voice whispered sharply from inside.
Without another word, Teacher Shim pushed his way into the house the moment the door opened. He didn't bother with greetings. He didn't bother with explanations. He went straight to the point, hissing, "What did you do, Raymon?"
Councilman Raymon Vye frowned at the older man's sudden entry, his eyes narrowing in confusion. "What is wrong with you? What are you even talking about? I've been here since returning from the Pack house. What could I have possibly done?" His tone was defensive, but there was a slight tremble under it.
