In the corner of his blurry vision, he could see Agares standing a little distance away, holding a hand to his ear while using magic communication.
Without thinking, Li Shen reached out and intertwined his fingers with the hand beside him.
"Somnus, thank you for today. I had a really great time," he said.
"So did I. When I walk with you, everything feels different from usual," Somnus replied.
Li Shen leaned against Somnus's shoulder while enjoying the warm and pleasant sound of his voice. But then suddenly, Somnus gently pulled his hand away.
"Somnus?" Li Shen said, confused.

Somnus stood up from the bench and Li Shen began to follow, but Somnus stopped him with a hand.
"We have company. Wait here for a moment. Agares."
"Understood," Agares replied.
Somnus stood in front of Li Shen, blocking his view. The long golden hair that was tied together behind Somnus's neck swayed over the white robe on his back.
