Chapter 545 - LOD Chapter 542: The Impact of Diffusion

Although Klein had never been to Feynapotter City, he wasn't completely ignorant; it was akin to suddenly hearing that Backlund's Sodela Palace had been razed to the ground.

He was no longer the ignorant Nighthawk from Tingen; naturally, he understood what this seemingly absurd report implied—it likely involved a conflict surpassing the level of ordinary Angels.

"The Church of the Earth Mother, in conjunction with the Castiya Royal Family, has issued a warrant for the secret organization Psychology Alchemists…"

Pinching his brows, Klein's gaze lingered on the content specifically marked at the end of the newspaper, and he muttered to himself with a playful expression:

"Although it didn't explicitly name the culprit, it's practically tearing open the veil. However, among the Psychology Alchemists, the only one capable of achieving this step is probably…"

Without speaking Adam's name, Klein put away the newspaper and sighed softly. From a Seer's intuition, he always had a premonition of impending storm.

After a moment of silence, Klein seemed to have made a decision. He took out the star-adorned charm that Aaron had given him, and a surge of spirituality poured into it. The two demigod Marionettes, who had been standing silently in the shadows, appeared beside Klein, submerged together in the dazzling starlight.

As spirituality extended with the starlight, Klein vaguely saw the seven distinct colors of clear light beyond the starlight.

The next second, his vision suddenly cleared, and he saw a translucent, sapphire-like sea, and a magnificent castle made entirely of emerald.

His gaze subconsciously swept over, and Klein's eyes suddenly froze, meeting the gaze of the young girl in front of the castle. His lips moved silently:

"Melissa…"

Melissa, with an astrolabe in front of her, curiously observed the three individuals—Klein and his two Marionettes—who had suddenly appeared on La Cha Island. Having frequently studied astrology with the demigod Cattleya to digest the Astronomer potion, she keenly sensed that all three were at least at the demigod level.

However, because she had never faced a Marionettist, Melissa failed to discern that two of them were merely Marionettes. Just as she was wondering if these were guests of Queen Mystic, Bornova, dressed in a simple priest's robe, appeared behind her.

Feeling the pressure originating from the life level, Klein shifted his gaze from Melissa and looked at the second son of Roselle, introducing himself very politely:

"Esteemed Bornova, I am Gehrman Sparrow. Duke Aaron previously gave me a teleportation charm. Please forgive my sudden visit today!"

Gehrman Sparrow! Is this Mr. World?

Melissa's eyes widened slightly. The figure before her gradually overlapped with the one from the Tarot Club, and the sense of closeness she already felt deepened.

Bornova scrutinized Klein, recalling the secrets Aaron and Bernadette had mentioned. With a gentle expression, he nodded and pointed at the Marionettes on either side of Klein:

"Since you have received permission from the Duke, you are a guest here. Feel free to state any needs you have."

North Borough of Backlund, at Dr. Ceres's home, a warmly decorated baby carriage gently swayed.

Ricciardo, the Fate Councilor who had partially digested the Chaoswalker potion and whose condition was stabilizing, stood respectfully. Ademisaul, full of surprise yet somewhat reserved, watched the maids who occasionally walked by, completely ignoring him and his teacher.

A moment later, a precocious, tender voice emerged from the baby carriage:

"The tide of the era has arrived, and this grand curtain has been drawn. For a period of time, Backlund will become the target of all."

"It's a pity that the Life School of Thought has lost too much of its foundation, making it impossible for you to advance further. Although the most precious 'Die of Probability' has been preserved, without assistance, it is not something you at Sequence 3 can use."

At its peak, besides the Die of Probability, the Life School of Thought also possessed a Grade 0 Sealed Artifact created by Will Auceptin, who had specifically peeled off and additionally accommodated a Sequence 2 Soothsayer characteristic, used to suppress and transfer the negative effects of the Die of Probability.

This was also the fundamental reason why the Life School of Thought was able to continue even when Will Auceptin was being hunted by Ouroboros. Unfortunately, the latter has been lost, seized by the Rose School of Thought, which had long coveted it.

Ricciardo gave a bitter laugh and pulled Ademisaul beside him, explaining:

"Mr. President, my potion is still far from being digested. I came this time because my disciple has completely digested the Sequence 5 Winner potion, and he still lacks the characteristic for advancement."

As one of the few remaining Fate Councilors, Ricciardo, who had been hiding ever since Will Auceptin's restart, was truly destitute and could not provide the characteristic for his disciple's advancement.

Turning over comfortably in the cradle, Will Auceptin hummed. He had indeed additionally accommodated some Sequence 4 characteristics. His chubby hand gently grasped the void, directly throwing a mass of spiritual light to Ricciardo, then waved his hand, signaling them to leave.

Sealing the characteristic casually, Ricciardo seemed to sense something. After bowing respectfully, he left with Ademisaul, who could not hide his excitement.

Sitting up with some difficulty, Will Auceptin looked at the empty corner and pouted:

"If I hadn't sensed Adam and that Blasphemer's involvement when peeking into fate, I would have almost thought you were the one who eliminated that member of the Castiya family."

The space separated from reality gradually overlapped, and Aaron's figure gradually appeared, responding with a smile:

"The commotion from snatching Trunsoest's Brass Book earlier was too great; Adam's intervention could instead confuse the public. However, I truly didn't expect them to act so quickly and so blatantly."

Shrugging indifferently, Will Auceptin continued grumpily:

"What do you want from me this time, you fellow? I'm still a baby; frequent use of 'Yesterday Once More' still has some impact on my restart."

"I didn't expect to be considered an unwelcome guest in Mr. President's eyes." Aaron chuckled teasingly, then stopped wasting words and directly flicked a spiritual light spot containing various messages into Will Auceptin's tender forehead.

Backlund Greater Region, downstream of the Tussock River, "Ruin No. 1".

A curtain woven from shadows enveloped this deep, dark, majestic secret mausoleum. George III stood on the high platform inside the mausoleum, holding the crown adorned with many gloomy gems, symbolizing the Black Emperor Pathway's Uniqueness. After a long while, he withdrew his gaze from the Astral World, and his low, majestic voice echoed:

"The Earth Mother's condition seems to have returned to normal. Feysac and Feynapotter should act very soon. All of this should indeed come to an end."

Bits of slightly profound light gathered, condensing into a figure in the shadow-covered air. The square face exuded majesty; it was William Augustus I, the founder of Loen.

With George III, who was gradually assimilating with the shadows, reflected in his pupils, William I spoke indifferently:

"That 'Hand of Order' characteristic from Castiya has now been taken by Adam."
