Things are well prepared.
I stood up from my place.
"Guys, listen. I'm about to go. I don't want to reserve a spot that isn't mine."
Ezabel got flustered.
"Waaaaiiiiiiiiiitttttt... Aren't you gonna be here?"
Zia got nervous. She stood and grabbed my arm, her arms shivering.
"Please stay here... please, Jane... please stay by my side."
I was never concerned in this chat anyway. All I wanted was to kill time. Plus, it would be interesting if Ezabel cried in my hands.
I simply grabbed her hands back and looked at her with emotionless expressions.
"Zia, you must know that you have a big share of fault here. If you had right out rejected him, you could have ended it long ago."
Then I bent my neck to the left side.
Zia is the type of person who, no matter what happens, won't want others to see her weak.
I sighed, making it look as if I really don't care.
"Haaaa."
She then slowly let go of my arm that she was holding tight.
Zia looked a bit upset—not at me, but at herself. She is really upset that I had to see her in this shape.
"Thank you, Jane."
"Nah... I haven't done anything."
Ezabel was kinda in her own world. She cannot get her head over how she is gonna confess.
I wrapped it up fast and told them how we are gonna sit. The room has tables with four-by-four rows and columns.
We are sitting in row four, column one. I'm gonna go to the one next to us and sit—which means in row four, the same row, but column two—so I can be able to see them.
The table they are sitting on, which I stood up from, is the last one at the corner. Three chairs in total. The one I'm sitting on is in front of the walls, and the other two are face to face.
So I took the chair to the wall which is right in front of the place I was sitting in.
He will sit right in front of the place I'm currently sitting in, which means he can lean on the wall.
And as for me, I will be able to see him straight, face to face.
They both already agreed on it—but one thing they didn't know is that I'm gonna meet him first.
So I left, saying,
"I'm gonna go to the restroom now. I will be sitting at the place I already told you. Now, good luck to both of you."
I walked away.
I got out of the restaurant and waited for the guy to arrive. Someone like him should be called a kid—though a man is a man, no matter what happens, a man should be able to control his lust, feelings, and especially hunger.
Men like him are not men. Still kids.
He finally arrived. Not to over-exaggerate it, but the way the carriage was speeding left me speechless.
I jumped on the rooftop and walked to the next rooftop of a shop, eavesdropping on their little chat.
The guard was looking happy for the noble kid with a very delightful face, patting his shoulders.
"Master, go cook her. You have been waiting for so long, now go and show her who you are."
"Yes, just believe in me. I'm gonna show her all who I am."
He then walked boldly to the restaurant. The way he was walking just gave me this chill vibe as if he owns the place.
So I lowered my voice, and before he passed the shop I was standing on, its rooftop—I called him.
"Hey there, stalker."
His eyes opened wide upon hearing my voice. His very hands that once tried to kill shook as if they were digging into something. His teeth cracked against each other as if he took a cold shower in winter while ice was falling outside the house.
He turned around as if he was forced to turn around and looked at me straight. I was never bothered by it.
Knowing that the bodyguard could notice at any moment makes me feel a bit threatened.
"Go around the restaurant and let's talk in the restroom... you better not let anyone know, you got it."
"Y—you wh—what are you... Got i—it. Okay. Okay..."
I was watching him from the rooftop. He went straight to the restroom. He was horrified, biting his nails.
"No need to get angry... slow the flow already. It's not like I'm gonna kill you."
He looked up, gazing at me.
"Y—you mean it?"
I jumped from the roof to the ground and landed on the earth.
"Yep."
He then, slowly bending his back, looked at me straight, and his hands shivered. Suddenly, a signal—a wave to be specific—hit his head, making him feel a bit better, overcoming his fear and horrifying memories.
It was because I used hypnosis on him that he is this way. Just knowing my presence is enough to turn it on.
"Listen... first, tell me your name."
He held his chin and said to me,
"My name is Oliver... but call me whatever you want."
I patted his shoulders and smilingly said to him,
"Well, Oliver, my boy, you are gonna try your luck... but if any emotional moments happen, try not to cause a scene, okay?"
He looked down.
"Yeah... I'm already prepared for the worst anyway."
I walked to the walls and slowly sat down on the edge of the walls, which had a little space for sitting.
"So, good luck is all I can say. And don't forget to thank me—if it wasn't for me, you would have never gotten to this point."
He looked a bit shocked, and straight to my face he said to me,
"Why not... thank you so much... Bro, you don't know how much I love her. My heart is pounding crazy and I wanna finish it all, but I can't. I was so scared she would turn me down, so I kept annoying her and stalking her, not asking her out. I am a loser, and today... I don't wanna lose her..."
His eyes held tears as he was talking—especially the moment he reached the words I don't wanna lose her. His voice cut, almost making him look like a crybaby...
Well then, that's all there is to it, and all I have to do—whether it ends good
or not—is up to him and those two girls.
I can't believe I'm solving a love triangle. What a great day to shine...
