Chapter 2 - Chapter 1 - Town of Catanuncio

On a day like any other, in the vibrant village of Catanuncio, Cata, the village heroine, was preparing to walk through the streets with her intrepid group known as the Catanuncios. The children's eyes lit up as they watched them pass by, admiration and joy on their faces; they were the heralds of hope. At her side, her right-hand man, Adrian, the vice-captain, showed his steadfastness. On her left, the brave warrior Flox, covered in his magical armor, shone with the glow of light magic. Behind them, the cunning Tortu, light as the wind, completed the brave lineage of the group.

As they advanced, a child stumbled, falling at Cata's feet. His frightened parents hurried to pick him up, fearing the wrath of a noblewoman of the kingdom. "Don't worry!" Cata exclaimed with a serene smile. "Here, this will help your son," she said as Adrian offered her some money. The mother, overwhelmed with gratitude, knelt down. "No, no, you really don't have to worry, I'm just a hunter," insisted Cata, and so they continued on their way, the family grateful.

The Catanuncios advanced toward the heart of the village, where their base and the chief's house stood. Upon arrival, they unsheathed from a carriage the imposing head of a giant magical boar of electricity, one of the primary elements, but one of formidable power. "How?!" cried the chief, stunned. "How did you accomplish such a feat?"

"It was all thanks to Flox," said Cata humbly.

"No, no!" replied Flox modestly. "It was Catana who delivered the final blow with her Shinimoto."

"Yes, but without your agility and strength, I would never have been able to get close enough to cut anything," replied Cata.

"Well, if you say so," said Flox, removing his armor.

The chief smiled with satisfaction. "Great heroes once again achieving impossible feats! Flox, could you go find the black magic tree for me, please?"

"A black magic tree? You're crazy! It's extremely dangerous, you know that, old woman," replied Cata.

"But it's not just any tree. A dark magic tree has emerged near this village, wreaking havoc on the vegetation. It has caused a drought and is damaging the white barrier that protects the village. If we don't act soon, it could fall, and if it's a dark tree, I fear that even the capital will not be safe," explained the chieftain in a grave voice.

"You mean this tree could unleash a catastrophe that would bring down the kingdom of Azure, chief?" interrupted Flox.

"That's right. We need to act—" the chief began to say.

"NO!" shouted Cata.

"But Cata, we have to cut it down; if we don't do it soon, chaos will ensue," argued Flox.

"You won't go alone; the three of us will go. We'll go as soon as possible, don't worry," emphasized Cata.

"Okay, hurry up," concluded the boss.

—Ten minutes later—

"Cata, Adrian, are you ready yet?" asked Flox.

"No, give us another half hour," replied Cata.

"That's too long! I'm going ahead," insisted Flox.

"Don't you dare go alone," Cata warned him.

"Let him go, Cata. He's capable; nothing will happen to him," Adrián supported.

"Well, ciao," Flox said goodbye, leaving the village with determination. With his armor adjusted, he wielded his iron sword and put on his helmet of light. A little nervous but determined, Flox left the village, ready to face any challenge, advancing at a steady pace, aware that, although faster than Cata and Adrián, he couldn't rush too much, as he had to hope they wouldn't fall behind. Twenty minutes later, finding nothing but a clear path, he marched confidently, sure that his friends would follow him.
