"Lucky for me, my grades are bad and my handwriting is ugly too."
That was Nancy's excuse, earning her a disdainful glare from her younger sister.
Meanwhile, the Blossom Media team was busy filming inside the courtyard.
Ruth, Arthur, the young couple, and the old lady were watching the workers from outside.
"Mom, we've got this space cleared out. You can raise a couple of pigs here. The yard is big enough, once we clear the weeds, you can raise chickens too."
Arthur said eagerly. The old lady, always industrious, wanted to raise chickens and pigs in the courtyard.
But after all the effort they'd put into building this house, Arthur didn't want it reeking of livestock, even if they didn't live here full-time.
Luckily, the elderly couple next door had passed away, and their two sons had long since settled in the city and never returned.
