Chapter 70 - Chapter 70 – KROOM! Demon Spirit Nine Sword Style ‐Asura: Dead Man's Game!

Sabaody Archipelago.

The sound of uproar filled the air. Tens of thousands of citizens and reporters watched the screens with eyes sparkling, their excitement reaching a fever pitch. At this moment, they no longer cared about the Marines' increasingly dire situation. This "Summit War" was proving to be ten, no, a hundred times more spectacular than anyone had predicted. It was a feast for the eyes, a once-in-a-millennium event.

Who will appear next? Who will be the next performer on this grand stage? Everyone waited with bated breath!

...

"Quick! Take photos! Send the records back to headquarters! After the Straw Hat crew, the second Supernova pirate group of the year has joined the war!"

"Look! It's not just the Trafalgar who repelled Doflamingo—another Law has emerged from the submarine!"

"There are two 'Surgeons of Death,' Trafalgar Law!"

"And that more mature-looking Law... he looks incredibly powerful!"

"Yeah! He easily pushed back Doflamingo even in his Awakened state!"

"As expected, he's another anomaly!"

"Wait! Don't focus on Trafalgar yet—look! The ultimate duel between Admiral Aokiji and Straw Hat Luffy has begun!"

"Ah! The light is too blinding! Who won?!"

"Uooooh! Admiral Aokiji was sent flying, coughing up blood!"

"What?! Did Straw Hat Luffy win? This is insane!"

"The Fifth Emperor, Luffy... he truly lives up to the name!"

"No, wait! Luffy was sent flying too! He was also heavily damaged by the Admiral's technique!"

"Whew! A mutual takedown? That's better... that's better."

In the plaza, the crowd let out a collective sigh of relief. At the start of the war, they had fantasized about Luffy being crushed in a single hit. Now, as long as the Admiral didn't fall, they were satisfied. Subconsciously, they had already accepted the ridiculous setting of a nineteen-year-old boy achieving the status of the "Fifth Emperor." In their hearts, a Sea Emperor was now slightly above an Admiral.

As the duel between Luffy and Aokiji reached a temporary lull, the situation on the battlefield stabilized momentarily, allowing the crowd at Sabaody to catch their breath. However, the peace didn't last.

When the older Law exposed the darkness hidden beneath the surface of Dressrosa, the massive plaza fell silent for a second before erupting again.

"That Trafalgar said he sent the 'Big News' about Dressrosa to a newspaper... which one got it?!"

Morgans, who hadn't left yet, barked an authoritative question.

"A... Ahhh!" One of his employees from the World Economic Journal suddenly cried out, frantically pulling a bulging envelope from his pocket. "President! It's probably here! I... I was so busy watching the war, I forgot about it!"

"What?! You forgot Big News material? Are you an idiot?!" Morgans cursed, slapping his subordinate while snatching the envelope. As he opened it and read the cruel secrets recorded inside, his bird-like face gradually became ecstatic.

"I see! So that's how you stole Dressrosa eight years ago! And those 'special toys' in that country... they're a masterpiece of an ability user, aren't they?"

"Haha! Joker, oh Joker... sorry, but for the sake of Big News, I have to sacrifice you. Men! Prepare to release the Biggest News of the century!" Morgans rubbed his hands together, trembling with excitement.

On the other side of the plaza's high platform, the other Supernovas were speechless. Not long ago, they were certain Law had overslept and wouldn't be stupid enough to join the war for no reason. Reality had just slapped them in the face. Less than a minute after they spoke, Law appeared and stole the spotlight.

"Haha... Kid won't show up, right? He doesn't have anyone to take revenge on," Capone Bege muttered, his lip twitching.

Hardly had he finished speaking when the broadcast screen shook violently. A forty-meter-tall high-tech steel mecha made a forceful landing on the battlefield. Standing atop the mecha was none other than Eustass Kid.

Everyone: "DAMMIT!" Apoo: "DAMN! DAMN! DAMN!"

Marine Headquarters: The Summit War.

The fierce battle between the two Laws and Doflamingo/Vergo had begun. It was a fight without outside interference. The Marines wouldn't help Doflamingo, and the Straw Hats, as previously agreed, stayed out of it. Only four people were involved: the two Laws, the Heavenly Yaksha Doflamingo, and Demon Bamboo Vergo.

"ROOM!" "ROOM!"

The two Trafalgar Laws activated their abilities simultaneously. Two semi-spherical surgical spaces manifested, expanded, and merged—a larger sphere enclosing a smaller one.

"Don't be careless, Vergo. That Law is not simple!" Doflamingo locked his gaze on the older Law, his voice grave.

"Are you scared already, Doflamingo?" the older Law sneered.

"Scared? Who do you think you're talking to?!" Doflamingo glared coldly. He stepped forward, his powerful Conqueror's Haki (Haoshoku) surging out, pressing down on the two Laws.

Facing the Haki pressure, the younger Law braced himself, looking solemn. The older Law, however, remained calm. To him, who had faced the Emperors Kaido and Big Mom, Doflamingo's Haki was child's play.

"Anesthesia!" The older Law swung his cursed blade, Kikoku, in a simple vertical slash.

"Goshikito! (Five-Color Strings)" Doflamingo countered the slash with his strings.

Snap! The strings, capable of cutting through stone, snapped instantly. Simultaneously, Law's slash was halted.

"Fuffuffu... my turn!" Doflamingo grinned. He tapped his toes on the ground and flicked his fingers. "Bullet String!"

Tiny strings, faster and more powerful than cannonballs, shot out like lightning. Law parried with Kikoku.

Clang! The massive impact forced the older Law to slide back a dozen meters.

"Overheat! (Excess Whip String)" Doflamingo pressed his advantage. Dozens of thin threads erupted from his palm, twisting together into a single thick strand. Wrapped in Armament Haki (Busoshoku), the flexible line transformed into a white-hot blade, slashing toward Law.

"Shambles!" Law's body flickered, swapping positions with a small block of ice behind Doflamingo. Kikoku lunged ruthlessly toward Doflamingo's heart.

If it hit, Law would immediately activate his Awakening. Using KROOM, he would plunge Doflamingo into a bottomless abyss. However, while Doflamingo's raw strength was far below Big Mom's, he wasn't a stationary target. In terms of Haki mastery and agility, he was superior.

Doflamingo tilted his body slightly. Kikoku pierced through his feathered cloak, grazing his left flank. He then grabbed Law's blade with a Haki-clad hand and slammed him toward the ice. Doflamingo's fingers curled into claws—Goshikito reappeared. He launched a storm of attacks, completely suppressing the older Law.

Law continuously parried with Kikoku, but his face remained calm. "Doflamingo, I know everything about you, but you still don't know my true name."

"Hah?" Doflamingo was confused.

"You were once a Celestial Dragon... and my full name is Trafalgar D. Water Law!"

Doflamingo's eyes widened as he realized the implication. "You say you're a 'D'? You mean you're fated to take my head—the head of one who inherits the blood of gods? Ridiculous! The idea that the 'D' clan are the 'Natural Enemies of God' is nothing but superstition!" Doflamingo roared.

"It doesn't matter if you believe it. I am standing here because of destiny! Destiny has guided me to personally take your head and avenge Corazon! I am your natural enemy, Doflamingo!" Law braced the hilt of his sword with his palm, pointing the blade directly at Doflamingo. A crosshair-like target appeared in his vision.

"Injection Shot!!!"

Boom! An invisible blast of air entered Doflamingo's body.

Cough! Doflamingo fell to one knee, coughing up blood. But this was far from enough to bring him down. He quickly stood back up, using his high-level Observation Haki (Kenbunshoku) to dodge Law's follow-up attacks. He stepped onto invisible strings, climbing into the air, looking down at Law.

"This is truly unbearable!" Doflamingo said calmly, but the calmer he appeared, the more furious he was inside.

"ROOM!" Law attacked again, trying to sink his blade into Doflamingo's body.

Clang! Doflamingo didn't dodge. He blocked the blade with a Haki-clad leg. Law abandoned his sword, lunged forward, and pressed his high-voltage thumbs toward Doflamingo's chest.

"Counter Shock!!!"

Doflamingo didn't tank it this time; he twisted away. His intuition told him that getting hit would be disastrous. He was right—the electricity of Counter Shock was just a facade. Hidden beneath it was the true killing move: the Gamma Knife, capable of destroying internal organs and cells from the inside.

"Fuffuffuffu! It's a hundred years too early to ambush me, Law!" Doflamingo laughed triumphantly. With a wave of his hand, the ice surged—his Awakening reappeared. An endless wave of strings rushed toward Law.

"Curtain!" Law deployed his defense. A transparent protective shield formed around him, shielding him from the "thousand arrows."

"Dammit... as I thought, I'm not enough alone!" The older Law gritted his teeth. He thought that after the war on Onigashima and fighting Kaido and Big Mom, he had become strong enough to take down Doflamingo one-on-one. But after clashing, he realized he was wrong.

It was the same logic: even if you have a "Special Attack" Awakening move that can one-shot the enemy, it's meaningless if it doesn't hit. Unfortunately, Doflamingo was an agility-type opponent with maxed-out evasion—unlike Big Mom, who refused to dodge anything. To hit Dofla, someone had to restrict his movements, even for a split second.

The older Law looked toward his younger self. At that moment, the younger Law was losing his fight against Vergo. Facing Vergo's full-body Armament Haki, even the Ope Ope no Mi's cutting ability was ineffective. The younger Law didn't even know what Haki was yet. Even Luffy had been suppressed by Vergo's Haki before his training.

"Fuffuffu! It seems you and I are in the same boat, Vergo! Finish it quickly! Kill that weak Law!" Doflamingo ordered. Normally, he would want to crush the older Law in a one-on-one duel, but after seeing the older Luffy and Yamato, he didn't dare be careless.

On this battlefield, Doflamingo could only rely on himself and Vergo. He wanted Vergo to win quickly so they could double-team the older Law. Similarly, the older Law had the same plan: coordinate with his younger self to find that one-second opening.

Would it all come down to who won the other fight first? No! Doflamingo couldn't instantly influence the other battle, but the older Law could.

After ensuring he was far enough from Doflamingo, he shouted: "ROOM! Shambles!"

The blue surgical space expanded rapidly. In an instant, the older Law swapped positions with his younger self. Before Vergo's Haki-clad heavy punch could land, Kikoku pierced through Vergo's chest.

"KROOM—— Shock Wille!!!"

BOOM!

The battlefield was filled with smoke and fire. The fight between the Laws and Doflamingo/Vergo occupied only a small area. At this moment, another duel was attracting even more attention. It was the domain of the world's strongest swordsmen.

With the arrival of the Whitebeard reinforcements, the Marine powerhouses who were ganging up on the Straw Hat squad were drawn away. The pressure on the Straw Hats eased significantly. Under these conditions, the Pirate Hunter, Roronoa Zoro, felt no more worry. He stepped forward calmly and stood before the world's greatest swordsman, Dracule "Hawkeye" Mihawk.

"Roronoa! I found you!" A girl's scolding voice came from the side. It was the persistent Tashigi, wielding her blade, Shigure, and slashing at Zoro.

Clang! A large sword blocked Tashigi's blade.

"You are... the 5th Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, 'Flower Sword' Vista!" Tashigi's pupils shrank.

"Little girl, it's best not to disturb those two right now," Vista said gentlemanly, stroking his mustache. He had no intention of bullying a young Marine.

Tashigi finally noticed Mihawk's presence. "Gulp... Roronoa and Mihawk... they..."

"Indeed. A duel between great swordsmen. If you are a swordsman yourself, little girl, then open your eyes wide and watch from the sidelines!" Vista said.

Clang~ A crisp sword ring echoed through the sky. The strongest Black Blade—the Supreme Grade sword, Yoru, was unsheathed.

"Let's begin, Roronoa! Show me your full power!" Mihawk spoke with calm confidence.

"Of course! Master Mihawk!" Zoro grinned.

"Demon Spirit... Nine Sword Style... Asura... Dead Man's Game!!!"

Execution Platform.

"Sengoku, the situation is looking a bit bad. Let me go out!" Chief Instructor Zephyr (Z) volunteered, his eyes fixed on Luffy. Subconsciously, he felt he was destined to fight the Straw Hat boy.

"No! Wait, Zephyr!" Sengoku shook his head calmly.

"Is that... Squard?" Ace saw Squard climbing onto the Moby Dick, and his heart tightened.

"The real show is just about to begin!" A subtle curve appeared on Sengoku's lips. But a second later, his smile froze. He couldn't laugh anymore.

All because of the colossal monster that suddenly appeared at the bay entrance.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

The ground of Marine Headquarters shook violently with every step the giant took. It was a steel giant over forty meters tall, constructed entirely of machinery and weapons. The moment it appeared, it became the focus of the entire battlefield.

"Waaaaah!" "What the hell is that?!" "A giant? No! It's a massive robot!" "It's even bigger than that steel pirate ship!"

Near the bay, both Marines and Pirates were stunned. The giant robot didn't distinguish between friend or foe; it simply crushed everything in its path as it entered the battlefield.

"That's... the Kid Pirates!" "They're here too!" "Wait, is Kid crazy? At this rate, he's going to crash into the Thousand Sunny!" Usopp, Chopper, Nami, and Brook screamed in terror.

"The Kid Pirates' flag! The third Supernova crew has appeared!" "Report! Fleet Admiral Sengoku! The giant robot belongs to Kid's crew!" "And just like Trafalgar Law... there's more than one Kid!" "There are two Captain Eustass Kids!"

"Dammit! More of them? Is there no end to this?!" Sengoku almost ground his teeth to dust. "Borsalino!"

"Yes~?" The idle Admiral Kizaru let out a lazy yawn.

"I'll give you thirty seconds. Destroy that pile of scrap metal!" Sengoku ordered coldly.

"That... sounds so difficult! Such a huge steel giant, even for me..."

Before Kizaru could finish, Sengoku cut in: "Three days of paid vacation."

"Ten days!" "Five days!" "Deal!"

Swish! A brilliant golden light streaked across the sky!!!
