"Why are we getting on the bed?"
"How else am I supposed to help you apply the ointment?"
Ethan Grant said, handing the ointment from his palm to Serena Sullivan.
Serena looked at the burn ointment, puzzled, as she watched him slowly lie down on the bed.
He clearly has the ointment, why doesn't he apply it himself!
Or maybe he intended to apply it himself!
As she passed through the hallway, the wheelchair and the floor made unavoidable noise, and his bedroom door was open.
Serena dared not think further; her heart was already in turmoil when Ethan lunged at her.
"Bear with it! It might hurt a bit!"
Serena said softly.
The ointment was cooling, and it didn't hurt as much on the wound, especially since Ethan wasn't someone who feared pain.
But when Serena's fingers touched the blistered wound, he let out a hiss.
Serena shuddered, "Does it hurt a lot?"
"Yeah!" Ethan instinctively followed her lead, "It hurts a lot!"
