Ethan Grant's body instantly tensed. Without caring to reproach Wyatt Sterling for not keeping watch, he turned and pulled out his phone, asking the bodyguard stationed at the elevator.
Wyatt quickly walked to the window, fearing to see something bloody down below when he stuck his head out.
However, the view outside remained unchanged. Not only were there no people, even the wheelchair and blanket were nowhere to be seen.
Feeling puzzled, he turned his head toward the hospital bed and saw a mound of white blankets on the inner side, calling out to Ethan Grant at the doorway.
"Ethan, Serena's here!"
Ethan turned back and walked quickly in the direction Wyatt pointed.
They walked in, only seeing one side of the bed, while Serena Sullivan had rolled to the other side along with the blanket.
Ethan immediately went over, picked Serena up from the floor and placed her back on the bed, tucking her in again.
"This is really strange!"
