Just as Serena Sullivan had anticipated, Mrs. Kane knew that Mr. Kane's shares were bought by Simon Sterling, and she rushed from Kane Group to the room of The Dowager Kane.
The Dowager Kane lay on the bed, turned her head slightly when she saw her come in, and glared at her with her eyes.
Who could imagine that The Dowager Kane, who once dominated the Imperial Capital, tightly holding Kane Group in her grasp and forcing Simon Sterling to toil for them, would one day be bedridden and vulnerable to bullying?
"You should leave."
Mrs. Kane instructed the servant to leave. The obedient servant left the room but paused at the door, secretly taking out a phone and pointing it towards the room.
Inside the room, Mrs. Kane sneered as she looked at The Dowager Kane and threw a contract over.
"Sign this transfer agreement."
Getting the Dowager to sign seemed impossible.
First, she was unwilling, and second, the Dowager could no longer hold a pen.
