Lily Shaw was somewhat stunned, staring at Uncle Ox whose eyes were burning with anger. Watching as he raised his large, fan-like hand high, ready to hit Aiden Grant again, she hurriedly reached out and grabbed Uncle Ox's arm tightly, shouting anxiously, "Uncle Ox, stop! Let's talk this out!"
"Little Su, don't interfere. Today I must give this Grant boy a good beating!" Uncle Ox, who was surnamed Ox, had a temper as stubborn as an ox. Once he decided to beat Aiden Grant, he was determined to do so.
"No way! Uncle Ox, he's my husband!" Lily Shaw said coldly. She forcefully pulled Uncle Ox's hand back, then glanced at the man with a crooked tie and a reddened corner of his mouth, signaling for him to leave the noodle shop first.
Aiden Grant's gaze turned slightly cold. Standing still, his back straightened, and under the anxious gaze of Lily Shaw, he suddenly restrained Uncle Ox, "Honey, let go first."
