Jude's eyes were filled with obvious heartache, especially when he saw Lily Shaw's forced smile that appeared so peculiar, he couldn't help but raise his hand to gently rub the top of her head: "Miss, as long as I'm here, don't be sad."
"Brother, I'm not crying." Lily Shaw lowered her head somewhat embarrassedly and sniffed, not wanting to always appear as a crybaby in front of Jude.
Yet she didn't realize that in just a few words, she had unknowingly betrayed her own emotions.
