Chen Wen and Gaston surrounded Char from two directions of the camp, one in front and one behind.
Char had no idea that he had been targeted.
He was venting his frustration by chewing on the roadrunner's breast meat and leg bone.
After Chen Wen arrived, he paused for three minutes.
Suddenly, he made a "coo coo coo coo" sound.
This sound was very close to the camp, and Char looked up in the direction it came from.
If it were someone else, they might already suspect someone was approaching.
After all, where would there be a four-sound cuckoo in the desert?
This is common sense.
But Char was different.
He didn't even know what a four-sound cuckoo was.
So when two shadows rushed out, Char suddenly realized he was being ambushed.
