The team stopped.
A middle-aged man who looked like the leader quickly took off his thick cold-weather mask.
Revealing a face flushed from the cold.
He stepped forward briskly and pulled out an official document stamped by the Federal Arctic Great Wall Command from his pocket, handing it over:
"Comrade, hello, we are the special frontline documentary team from the Federal Arctic War Zone News Bureau. I am the leader, Chen Tao. Here are our documents and assignment order."
He pointed to the reporters behind him holding equipment, "We are ordered to come and fully follow, film, and record your unit's upcoming combat operations."
"This is specially approved by the highest command and General Hong Qitian."
The guarding soldier carefully inspected the documents.
Confirmed no errors.
But still maintained business-like seriousness on his face: "Just a moment, I need to report to my superiors."
He immediately reported upwards.
Soon, the instruction came back permitting passage.
