"Uchiha Madara."
Chen Yu watched Marquis Voban come to a halt, and with no reason to continue pressing the fight, turned his gaze to Uchiha Madara.
But unlike the deep, mysterious purple of the Rinnegan he had seen before, Madara's eyes were now a brilliant, pure blue—azure light swirling languidly within his pupils.
"The Reincarnation Eye!"
In the span of a single instant, he recognized those eyes.
If the Rinnegan was the Sharingan evolved to its absolute limit, then the Reincarnation Eye was the Byakugan driven to its ultimate form.
It possessed the power to destroy and to create worlds.
And most critically—in terms of offensive capability, the Reincarnation Eye surpassed even the Rinnegan.
"You've already been to the moon?"
Marquis Voban noticed the shift in Madara's eyes and spoke with a note of surprise.
"Eyes that are no less formidable than the Rinnegan—how could I possibly pass them up?"
Uchiha Madara said this with unhurried calm.
After breaking through the Six Paths, his very first move had been to travel to the moon. There he recovered the Giant Reincarnation Eye, and used the enormous quantity of points it yielded to fill the gaps in his Ōtsutsuki bloodline. He then exchanged those points for a pair of Byakugan of exceptionally high purity—and from that, he obtained the Reincarnation Eye.
"Dying beneath these eyes—it won't be a dishonor to you."
It could be said that of all the crossover travelers who had appeared in the chat group so far—setting aside the plagiarist from Kasumigaoka Shiha's world—every other traveler, whether the Demon Container, Uzumaki Naruto, or Chen Yu, had been a genuine powerhouse. They possessed systems, yet they were never wholly dependent on them.
Between them and these crossover travelers, there was no such thing as justice or evil. Both sides were people who pursued strength. They had each walked their own path.
"I look forward to it."
Chen Yu let out a quiet laugh as he said this. There was no fear of death in his eyes.
He had gone from an ordinary person to subduing the entirety of the One Piece World. Everything he had lived through was beyond what he could once have dared to imagine.
The system had played a significant role in his journey. But it could not simply make him into a powerhouse on its own.
The sensation of hovering on the brink of death—he had experienced it more than once. Death itself was something he had long since come to terms with in his own mind.
Still, he had no intention of simply standing around and waiting for it to come.
"Rumble... rumble..."
Dark clouds massed overhead. Howling gales tore through the sky without ceasing, and between the clouds, thunder cracked again and again.
Chen Yu's body swelled and expanded, until at last it transformed entirely into an azure divine dragon stretching hundreds of meters in length. Thunder and gale swirled around him in ceaseless motion.
"ROAR!"
Accompanied by a dragon's cry, boundless thunder converged within the dragon's maw. Purple lightning churned and gathered, condensing into a searing beam of light—raw, destructive force aimed directly at Uchiha Madara.
Madara's Reincarnation Eyes radiated streams of azure light. Nine black Truth-Seeking Balls floated into orbit around him, then converged into his hand—taking shape as a colossal golden light blade that stretched from earth to sky. Its radiance blazed without end.
It was as though all other light in heaven and earth had been extinguished—leaving nothing but this single golden blade that cut through the very sky.
"Golden Wheel Reincarnation Blast!"
Facing Chen Yu's beam of lightning, Madara swung the massive golden blade in a single, effortless arc. The razor edge of light split the thunder beam clean in two.
Not just the beam—even the cloud layer overhead was severed.
The azure dragon that Chen Yu had become was likewise cut apart, severed into segments. The lingering force of the Golden Wheel Reincarnation Blast even cleaved through a distant mountain range.
"Ding. Crossover traveler Chen Yu has been detected as deceased. Calculating each group member's participation ratio in the battle."
"Ding. Group member [Uchiha Dance King]: 77% participation. Group member [Most Ancient God-Slayer]: 20% participation. [Perfectly Ordinary Group Owner]: 1%. [Child of Nature]: 2%."
"Ding. Task rewards have been distributed."
With the death of Chen Yu, the chat group's voice rang out in everyone's ears once more.
6,000 points and one enhancement opportunity with a 50% success rate.
But neither the points nor the enhancement opportunity were their primary concern. What they were truly anticipating was the value of the Rule-Level item Chen Yu had carried.
"Ding. Rule-Level Item carried by crossover traveler Chen Yu—[Infinite Fusion System]—has been recovered. Distributing rewards according to each member's participation ratio."
"Congratulations, group member [Child of Nature]. You have obtained: Strange Flame from the Battle Through the Heavens World—Meteor Heart Flame."
When the chat group's voice faded, a flame—nearly transparent—materialized inside his spatial ring, waiting to be absorbed.
"Meteor Heart Flame. This should be the flame of that person, as I understand it."
"Though it doesn't seem like it'll be of much use to me."
The Meteor Heart Flame ranked fourteenth among all Strange Flames in the Battle Through the Heavens World. Born from the heart, it forged Dou Qi and tempered bone. Once successfully refined, it would produce Heart Fire within the body in an unceasing flow—perpetually burning through the Dou Qi inside, without pause. This relentless tempering was akin to having one's body locked in a state of constant cultivation at all times.
Naturally, the rate of cultivation would far surpass what came before.
As an offensive tool, one could also summon Heart Fire to incinerate enemies.
Brandon White's body contained no Dou Qi whatsoever. Even the spiritual energy within him was purified to an absolute extreme by the Natural Authority—not a single trace of impurity existed.
So even if the Meteor Heart Flame could burn, it would accomplish nothing here.
As for his physical constitution—he didn't have a clear sense of just how powerful his body had become. Perhaps using it for body tempering might yield decent results.
All things considered, having it was better than not having it.
And it wasn't necessarily something he had to use himself. Trading it with Holy Lord, or using it to train the Pokémon in his spatial pocket—either option was viable.
But from this reward alone, it was clear that Chen Yu's system was worth considerably less than the Demon Container's had been.
Holy Lord, with merely 1% participation back then, had obtained Burning Verdict—a cultivation method possessed of infinite potential. Yet Brandon, at 2%, received only a single Strange Flame.
Brandon turned. He looked at Uchiha Madara, Marquis Voban, and Roxie Vale. Every one of their faces wore smiles they could no longer contain.
Madara and Voban especially—the excitement on their faces was barely restrained at all.
It seemed the rewards they had received had left them thoroughly satisfied.
Richest Man: "The group owner and the others are laughing so exaggeratedly—the Marquis especially."
Richest Man: "His mouth is practically splitting open."
Richest Man: "What on earth did they get? I'm so curious!!!"
Tony watched the smiles on their faces through the livestream, a wave of sourness rising unbidden in his chest.
He wanted so badly to take part in a task himself. Even at just 1% participation, the rewards one could obtain were incredibly precious.
Whether it was Burning Verdict, which Holy Lord had obtained last time, or the Form Fusion that the Ancient One had received—both had contributed immeasurably to their holders' potential.
Boil the Ancient One into Soup: "Well, though—I think my smile last time was even more exaggerated than theirs."
Perfectly Ordinary Group Owner: "Yes yes!"
Perfectly Ordinary Group Owner: "Even though it's only 1% participation, the reward is genuinely incredible!"
Perfectly Ordinary Group Owner: "Though it doesn't compare to what Holy Lord got, of course."
Perfectly Ordinary Group Owner: "One drop of the blood of a Twelve-Winged Angel from Western Mythology!"
Perfectly Ordinary Group Owner: "Heh heh heh."
Perfectly Ordinary Group Owner: "After I absorb it, the Angel Fruit should be able to awaken directly, right?"
