Sonny's POV
I went to the arena where everyone stood in line; some stared at me, knowing I won the competition, and I stared at the leader of the elders—Liang Yu. He wore a cold expression, but his gaze was gentle. "Sonny wins the competition!"
He turned to me and asked, "Who do you like to be your master?"
In truth, it was considered immoral to choose a second master, but all of them knew my past and didn't reject me having a new master. This competition was for people who joined the sect and those who still did not have the master. But since I'm the winner of the competition, I have the right to choose which person I want to be my master.
Everyone was watching me, and I turned to Killian, who stood at the back, his icy blue eyes bored into mine.
"Killian."
I said confidently. Some people gasped, while others didn't seem surprised. It's like they expected me to choose him.
Killian stepped forward, his deep voice echoing in the arena, "You want me to be your master?"
