The forest path wound on for hours, but there was no sign of Bulma.
Haruko slowed to stand beside Goku. "She's not camping anywhere near here. She must have headed toward the city."
Goku sniffed the air. "Then let's head there too."
They turned onto the main dirt road, the afternoon sun casting long shadows.
After a few minutes of silence, Haruko decided it was time.
"Goku… there's something you should know."
The smaller boy glanced up. "About what?"
"About you. About us." Haruko let his tail sway freely. "We're both Saiyans. Another race. Born fighters."
Goku blinked. "Like… we're not from here?"
"No. We were born on a planet far away called Planet Vegeta." Haruko's tone darkened. "But it's gone now. Destroyed. The ones who did it… names you'll remember: Frieza, and Beerus."
Goku stopped walking, fists tightening. "They killed everyone?"
Haruko nodded. "Your parents too. They saved you by sending you here before the planet was destroyed."
Goku's face hardened. "I'll get revenge. I don't care how strong they are."
Haruko crouched to meet his gaze. "You can. But you have to understand—right now, they're millions of times stronger than us. Our power here is only around ten. That's nothing in this universe."
"Then I'll train," Goku said without hesitation. "Harder than anyone."
Haruko smirked. "Good. That's the only way. If you want to fight them, we have to train until there's nothing left to give."
The city's skyline appeared in the distance.
Haruko stopped police men and told him do you know where is capsule corporation.
Haruko looked at map and then picked Goku and started running in street with fast speed.
The massive Capsule Corporation building stood like a dome against the horizon.
"Is that where she lives?" Goku with his red staff on back asked.
"That's Capsule Corp. Bulma's family runs it," Haruko confirmed.
They reached the main gate — and were immediately stopped by guards. "Sorry, no public visitors."
Haruko kept his voice calm. "Tell Dr. Brief we're here to see his daughter. She stole something important from us."
"Try making an appointment," the guard replied, stepping in front of them.
Haruko sighed and looked at Goku. "Stand back."
With one step forward, Haruko pushed on the gate. The heavy security door rattled — then slammed open as the frame gave way.
The guards jumped back. "Hey!"
Inside, a startled man in a lab coat looked up from a floating maintenance robot. His grey hair was tied back in a small ponytail.
"Mr. Brief," Haruko said evenly, ignoring the approaching police sirens. "Your daughter entered my friend's home and took something important — his grandfather's Four-Star Ball."
Police officers spread out inside the lobby, hands on batons.
"We're not here to fight," Haruko continued firmly. "We'll leave as soon as she returns it."
Dr. Brief's eyebrows lifted. "Bulma? …She really could have done something like that."
Goku crossed his arms and nodded. "It's true!"
The old scientist sighed and held up a hand to the police. "Stand down. I'll call her."
He picked up a phone and dialed. "Bulma, it's your father. Return home immediately — your friends are here, and they say you took something from them."
Miles away, Bulma was sitting on a boulder, radar in hand, Puar hovering nearby, and Yamcha leaning on his sword.
"What now?" she muttered, answering the call. "Dad? …What do you mean 'friends'? Nobody knows I'm here—" She froze. "Wait… how do they even know my house?"
She shut the radar and stood. "We have to go. Now."
Evening light painted the Capsule Corp lobby in orange by the time a small car screeched to a stop outside. The doors swung open.
Bulma stepped in, still catching her breath — and froze at the sight in front of her.
Goku, short and smiling, tail flicking behind him.
And next to him, Haruko — taller, broad-shouldered, standing calmly by her father's desk.
"What… how—?" Bulma stammered.
Haruko's eyes narrowed slightly. "We'll talk after you give the ball back."
