"How… how…"
Watching Kanon fall from the sky, Kensei completely broke down.
In his eyes, Kanon had been one step away from ascending as an angel—just a little more time and she would become a true angel.
But such Kanon… why did she lose to the newly awakened Fourth Primogenitor?
And the Fourth Primogenitor didn't even seem able to fully use her Familiars.
Otherwise, why had she used only one Familiar against Kanon from beginning to end?
In Kensei's mind, a being with divine power capable of dispelling demons, and with high-dimensional strength—even the Third Primogenitor present might not be able to defeat Kanon.
Yet she fell so easily before the Fourth Primogenitor.
"So this is… the awakened Fourth Primogenitor?"
Kensei collapsed to the ground, his expression a mix of confusion and dread.
Pierced fully by the divine spear, the falling girl, Remilia, slowly landed and caught Kanon. But seeing such a tiny child holding Kanon created an odd sense of dissonance.
With a cold gaze, Remilia looked at Kensei, and her magic surged.
A shockwave exploded before him, sending him flying violently.
"Cough… cough…!"
Kensei was neither vampire nor beastman—just a technician.
Being blasted away like this naturally made him cough up blood in agony.
Remilia snorted coldly, clearly intending to kill him.
But then she sensed something. Her hand lowered. Holding Kanon, she stepped back several times.
"What is—aaaaaaaahhhh!"
Light like scorching heat burned Kensei's body. His fragile form began to break apart.
Rolling across the ground, Hase Kensei's despair echoed in everyone's ears.
Natsuki wanted to intervene, but after glancing at Ren and the others, she stopped.
A bitter smile spread across her face. She seemed to understand.
She wanted to stop it but couldn't…
Might as well go capture those demons.
But remembering Flandre was still on the other side, she could only silently hope Flandre wouldn't break her toy too quickly.
Under the erosion of the divine light, the space around Kensei shattered with wails.
Vaguely, Kensei seemed to see an angel standing before him.
The angel stared down coldly and spoke judgment:
"The pain you forced onto those people you turned into faux angels—I will let you experience every bit of it. Then carry your sins and go to hell. And by the way—my heaven does not welcome you."
Hearing something, Remilia turned slightly, looking toward a distant point.
Her prophetic sight caught a thread of fate stretching in that direction.
That angel… had been watching?
After Kensei crumbled into fragments, Natsuki flashed to Veldiana's side.
The female vampire near Veldiana was little more than mangled flesh, her arms completely torn off. Natsuki could even smell the charred burn.
Seeing Natsuki arrive, Veldiana wisely stopped.
Even though she belonged to Remilia's side, she was still intimidated by the Witch of the Void.
Even among allies, Natsuki's title as a demon killer carried weight.
"You really were ruthless…"
"Hmph. My Familiars only tore off her arms. The rest was just venting. Besides, Ren-sama said before that when facing someone who can't be killed, you just beat them until they wish they were dead. I'm just following orders."
Veldiana said this as if completely justified.
Natsuki raised a brow and gave Ren a look.
So that's how you teach people to fight?
"Save… save me… p-please…"
Hearing the broken sobs of the nearly traumatized vampire, Natsuki waved her hand.
Chains appeared, binding the vampire tightly.
Not bothering to look at the nearly-dead vampire, Natsuki turned toward another direction.
If she remembered correctly, Flandre had been the first to rush forward and "play games" with that beastman.
Flandre's attack had launched him far away.
"Speaking of Flandre…"
Before she could finish, screams even more miserable than Kensei's came echoing back.
"Aaaaaaaaahhhh! Monster! Monster! Monster! Monster—"
Flandre seemed to have dragged the beastman far away to "play."
Ren glanced at Natsuki and Remilia with interest.
"Flandre seems to be having fun. Want to go take a look?"
Natsuki held her head as if in pain and looked toward Remilia.
"When this is over, have Flandre attend school. With Avrora."
She even looked pointedly at Avrora.
"Understand?"
"Yes, I understand!"
Sensing Natsuki's tone, Avrora quickly answered, afraid of being late by even a second.
Remilia shrugged. She had already intended something like that, so she had no objections.
"Hahahahaha! So fun! So fun! Just like big brother said—this is so fun! You can't die in one hit and your body heals, and then I can blow it up again! So fun! You're different from those weak ones—you don't break so easily!"
Flandre's manic laughter echoed.
The beastman was crawling helplessly on the ground, while Flandre hovered above, her eyes filled with destructive excitement.
But after hearing him call her a monster, Flandre puffed her cheeks in displeasure.
"And Flandre is not a monster. Big brother said Flandre is very cute!"
Natsuki sighed. Chains shot out and wrapped the almost-insane beastman completely.
"Help me help me help me! That thing is a monster! A monster—"
So why were you running your mouth earlier… Natsuki wanted to complain.
Would Flandre want to start a fight if you hadn't provoked her first?
Even if Flandre had said she wanted to cause trouble for you, the root of it was still that you were the ones who stubbornly came looking for trouble first, and even beat up Veldiana. In the end, these people were just too idle with nothing to do.
"I'll take these guys back first. As for Kanon, I'll trouble you all to bring her home. Now that Kanase Kensei is dead, she can stay at my place. It'll also be convenient for Avrora and Flandre to attend school together with her later."
Natsuki said this and, taking the two demons with her, her figure instantly vanished from the spot.
"Then next, the Blazing Banquet ends here. The outcome is the birth of the Fourth Primogenitor. Congratulations, Remilia."
"If you want a fight, I'll accompany you anytime! But on your turf!"
"If you want to smash my Empire along the way, just say it."
Giada rolled her eyes, hearing the implication in the other party's words, speechless.
If she and Remilia fought with full power on her own territory, the resulting destruction would truly be disastrous.
"Hehe… big brother, how did Flandre do?"
Flandre quickly ran to Ren, looking like she wanted praise.
Ren chuckled, patting her head, then said, "You guys go back first… I have something to deal with."
Remilia and the others exchanged a look, then nodded slightly. She pulled along the reluctant Flandre, placed Kanon onto Avrora's back, and left with everyone else.
Once Ren saw everyone leave, he vanished amid a violent gust of wind.
On the rooftop of a severely damaged building, "Paper Noise" Koyomi Shizuka stood on the edge, looking into the distance, her expression shifting.
"I didn't expect things to end up like this…"
"Are you disappointed that things didn't follow your Lion King Organization's predictions?"
"What…!?"
Koyomi was caught completely off guard by the sudden voice.
A sudden touch made her body freeze instantly, unable to move.
At some unknown time, Ren was already standing beside her.
His right hand was already resting on her shoulder, as if they were close acquaintances.
