The faint breeze of the pioletic planet brushed against his skin as Quinn sprinted south. Of all the abilities he could have wished for in this moment, speed would have been the best. It would have been perfect right now—he could reach Ray in seconds, maybe even pull him out of this mess entirely.
But fine. No time to lament.
His speed wasn't that of an ordinary human anymore because twenty-four points in Agility made sure of that. On top of it, he pushed bursts of wind behind him, swinging his arms back to launch himself forward with raw, compressed air.
"I can still make it," Quinn muttered, as wave of concern shadowed upon him.

When he evolved, he hadn't got the luxury of time to go through all the messages. He skimmed only the essentials and bolted.
But Still… that unknown option, by far was the best choice he'd ever been handed. His evolution shifted him into a Draconic Kin, and somehow that solved his previous incompatibility issue granting him the access to all his previously locked abilities.
"Why did the system even gave me three choices? Did that mean if I went with the other two there was a chance I wouldn't had evolved?"
Then the familiar sound of the system resounded in his mind,"The system evolved with your blood. It found something in your blood that was capable enough to bring change, something even it had no record of. That's why you saw 'Unknown.'
"When the system was created, the man who helped me build it, uploaded everything we had—information about beasts, creatures of the old era… maybe even dragons. I'm not certain. But since the system recognized it, he must have known something."
"So you weren't the only one who made the system?," Quinn said intrigued.
"That is correct.
The system couldn't comprehend your transformation… that is the only logical explanation until it happened— to finally realize what you had changed to."
Quinn took a last look at the system screen before continuing his pace to catch up with Ray.
