Inside the Space Prison, Hit still believed that Trunks was looking down on him. As Universe 6's legendary assassin, he was normally calm and composed, but right now, his state of mind was clearly shaken.
After all, Trunks was the first person ever to move freely inside the Space Prison without his permission. Not only that, he had immediately noticed the weakness of Hit's Time-Skip and interrupted it before it could even activate.
At that moment, Trunks spoke. "Hit, I can tell you clearly that I'm not lying. You told me all of your secrets, so as an exchange, I'll tell you everything I know. But the problem is... I honestly don't know why this is happening either."
Trunks looked completely baffled. He genuinely had no explanation for why he could move inside the Space Prison. Faced with such a casual and seemingly irresponsible answer, Hit's face filled with contempt.
"Heh. You actually expect me to believe something that ridiculous?" His voice was cold and full of suspicion.
Before the words had even fully settled, a flash of purple light appeared. In an instant, Hit's purple figure materialized right in front of Trunks like a ghost. In the blink of an eye, his arm bent sharply, and a vicious elbow strike shot toward Trunks' stomach at incredible speed.
But Trunks' reaction was just as fast. He lightly stepped backward, his body moving as effortlessly as a drifting leaf to narrowly avoid the attack.
Then, unexpectedly, Hit retreated a single step. A faint sound echoed through the space as Hit waved his hand.
The next moment, several identical Hits appeared out of thin air, every one of them looking exactly the same. Acting in perfect unison, they instantly surrounded Trunks, forming an airtight encirclement.
Without any hesitation, they launched a relentless barrage of attacks. Punches and kicks flew from every direction, turning the battlefield into complete chaos. Yet Trunks remained calm.
His eyes darted across the crowd of Hits like lightning, carefully observing every movement to search for the real body hidden among the copies, while his hands blocked and redirected attacks with remarkable precision.
These copies were nearly impossible to distinguish. Whether it was their appearance or their aura, they were practically identical, as if they had all been produced from the same mold.
Even someone with exceptional perception would need time to spot the differences. But for Trunks, whose control over aura had reached an extraordinary level, it wasn't much of a challenge.
He slowly closed his eyes, silently sensing the slightest changes in the surrounding airflow, as though everything around him lay within his grasp. Then suddenly, Trunks' eyes snapped open.
"Found you!"
The moment those words left his mouth, all that could be heard was a series of sharp tearing sounds through the air.
'Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!'
A tremendous aura erupted from Trunks like a volcanic explosion. The overwhelming force swept through the area instantly, blasting all the surrounding Hit clones away. Figures were sent flying in every direction, creating a spectacular scene.
As the clones scattered, Hit's real body finally appeared before Trunks. A faint smile curled across Hit's lips as his sharp eyes locked onto the Saiyan.
"Heh. Too late."
The reason for his confidence was simple. During the brief moment when the clones had blocked Trunks' vision, Hit had secretly activated his greatest technique, the Time-Skip.
The instant it activated, a unique domain unfolded around him. The area shimmered with strange lights, resembling a dreamlike world made from countless colorful fragments.
Everything proceeded exactly as it always had. Just like every opponent he had defeated with the Time-Skip before, Hit confidently threw his fist forward, fully intending to beat Trunks into a pulp.
But the moment he punched, he froze. The scene before him was incredibly familiar; the surroundings, the layout, every tiny detail matched the memories in his mind perfectly. Except for one thing.
The person who should have been standing there, helplessly receiving his attack, Trunks, was gone.
"W-What is going on?!!!"
Hit's expression changed drastically, and for a moment, his mind went completely blank. For an assassin who had succeeded countless times, this was a failure unlike anything he had ever experienced.
Then suddenly, he felt something strange. A warm, oddly gentle sensation appeared on top of his head, as if someone were softly stroking it. The unfamiliar feeling left Hit completely confused.
Meanwhile, outside the Time-Skip, Trunks was staring at Hit, who stood frozen in place like a statue. A puzzled expression appeared on his face. From Trunks' perspective, Hit had just exposed an enormous opening.
"What's this guy doing?" Trunks muttered as he slowly circled around Hit, observing him from every angle. Eventually, his gaze drifted upward and settled on Hit's head.
"...You know, now that I look at it, Hit's head really does resemble that thing." He reached out and started rubbing it.
And the moment he did, Hit moved.
"You bastard! What are you doing?!" Hit shouted angrily as he instantly jumped back to widen the distance between them.
